About: I currently have a very energetic young pit bull name Ruby. I am an advocate for the Pit breed. She is a certified therapy dog and she has Passed her AKC canine good citizens test. Her and I are part of the "paws for love" program sponsored through our local SPCA . We volunteer at the airport, schools, and I am currently going through hospice application along with our Family Justice Dept. We also do agility training along with fun Barn hunting. I do not work outside my home as most of my time is spent working with my dogs. It was something I had a passion for once I retired and had the time. Ruby also has her AKC advanced trick title. “Nicole is amazing! Our other sitter cancelled on us last minute and Nicole was super responsive and accommodating with the short notice. We have three dogs and one of them has leash aggression, which makes him more difficult to take on walks. She was very knowledgeable about those kinds of issues and really eased my mind that he would be in good hands. The house was so well taken care of and Nicole texted every day with updates and great pictures of the dogs. Overall it was a great experience and we’ll definitely be reaching out again for our next trip!”

About: Growing up, I absolutely loved animals—my family used to joke that I’d own a zoo one day! Whether it was caring for my own pets or helping animals in need, I’ve always felt a deep sense of responsibility and joy in making sure they feel safe and cared for. Over the years, I’ve rescued a baby deer, birds, and multiple dogs, and each experience taught me how to stay calm, patient, and gentle in all kinds of situations. I bring that same energy to pet sitting—being someone an animal can rely on, and someone owners can trust. My natural love for animals, along with my experience as a nursing student, means I’m observant, nurturing, and not afraid of a little extra care—whether that’s for puppies, seniors, or pets with special needs. I currently work part-time on weekdays, so I’m available for pet care after 4:30 PM during the week. Evenings are a perfect time for walks, drop-ins, or spending quality time with pets who need company after their owners leave for work. On weekends, I’m fully available and happy to offer boarding services, since I’ll be home and can give pets my full attention. My schedule allows for a healthy balance, so I can make sure each animal I care for gets the time, consistency, and affection they deserve. What sets me apart is my calm, compassionate approach and my experience as a nursing student—I’m naturally attentive, observant, and gentle, which carries over into how I care for animals. I’ve grown up with pets and currently care for two cats of my own, so I understand the importance of routines, patience, and respecting each animal’s unique personality. I’m also comfortable with both dogs and cats, including pets who may be shy, anxious, or in need of extra attention. I’m especially good with senior pets, and I’m comfortable helping with medication, special feeding routines, or mobility needs. I take pride in providing a calm, safe environment where pets can feel secure—and owners can feel confident.

About: I have always had a love of animals and I enjoy spending time with them, and yes, I do talk to them as if they are human. I have summers off and would love to spend some time with animal friends!!I am an early riser and can also be flexible with schedules during the summer. I have a fenced in yard here and all the things needed for various pets, especially dogs. I would hope that owners will specify how they’d like their pet cared for.

“Amazing with our Alaskan Malamute who tends to have separation anxiety and is very needy/snuggly. She gave her lots of attention and pretty sure our malamute had a better “vacation” than us away from our 2yr old and with all attention on her! Our outdoor cat was also treated wonderfully as well.
