“Had a magnificent experience leaving my boys ( 7 months old) with Annalisa. First, I must say that I am new to Rover and was leaving my pups for the first time, so needless to say I was nervous. Annalisa sensed our nervousness and first graciously came over to my home to meet us and the boys in their own environment with her own dog. The boys felt really comfortable with Annalisa and her dog. We then went to her place and the boys were thrilled again to see her and her dog once again, and they felt really comfortable at her home. So we felt at ease with the decision to leave them there. While we were on our trip we communicated daily and got pictures of the boys. Annalisa was easy to reach. She was always reassured us the boys were well and happy. She herself always seemed at ease and comfortable and happy to be with the boys. I always worry about how the boys will be accepted as they are very energetic and rambunctious but Annalisa seemed to take it all in stride.She even explained that she had to give one of the boys a bath as he had soiled himself. When we came to pick them up it was clear they were happy there. We feel very good about the whole experience. She did a wonderful job of making us feel at ease about leaving the boys there with her. Its clear the boys were well attended to and were made to feel at home there with her. It was important for us that the boys were treated as well as we try to treat them ourselves. Annalisa met all our needs and we trust her completely with the boys. We recommend her highly.”

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

I’ve recently started to help take care of family and friends cats and have researched and learned a lot of things. I love to give my kitty friends space when they need it and all the love and snuggles. I love deep cleaning litter boxes to make sure that they have a clean place to go potty. About: Growing up my parents got a dog for every child they had and theirs four of us. Ive been in love with dogs since I could remember my first pup ever!! I did spend a year as a bather at Petsmart best job ever so I have no problem with giving your fur babies a nice wash, I’m not much of a runner but I do take my dog on the bike path and I’ll ride while he runs until he’s tired then we’ll both walk back. I love all animals as if they’re mines I get emotionally attached at first site and love and care for them like they are my forever babies. I do currently work full time but I am very flexible with my hrs and will always be willing to work around your schedule to be with your fur family. I have only trained 2 dogs in my entire life and only got as far as sit right and left paw stay walk and run. I will always have a huge heart for any animal including yours!! About: I’ve loved dogs since I was wee child. 8 years ago my now husband and I got our first puppy (a pitbull/rat terrier mix) named Dudley and have since grown our four legged family by four! A 3.5 year old Daniff (Great Dane/English mastiff mix) named Aspen and three domestic shorthair kitties, varying in color (an orange included), named Chug, Nova and Wee. About: One of my biggest passions is saving animals lives through fostering. About: Since our 1st family dog as a child our house has always been filled with furry paws. I have experience with dogs of all sizes from small to large. I am a childcare provider who is working part time. I have lots of free time during the day to care for your special furry friend. I work part time so have lots of free time to get out and go for walks during the day in all types of weather. I am comfortable giving oral meds, comfortable learning other routes of medication administration if needed. Currently will only board cats from the same home or young puppies (message for more details) at a time due to other animals in the house. Your fur baby will have their very Owen room with a gate door that is about 6ft tall to keep them safe and comfortable when I am not watching them or letting them out for play time. I will follow your set schedule for feedings and play time. If I am boarding an animal they are my soul focus till pick up time. I offer daily or every other day pictures/video updates of your pet, my phone is always on so you can always reach me about any concerns. I have one cat and two dogs in the house. They will remain separated from your animal at all times for safety and comfort of your beloved pet. All animals in the house are fully vaccinated including kennel cough. I will not accept boarding of unvaccinated cats & dogs for safety.

She was so welcoming and understanding of my not completely house trained pup, and she's almost like a trainer as well as sitter. She's worked on crate training and commands with my pup, even letting me borrow things to help at home. Five other sitters denied my request to watch a puppy, but Courtney is the ultimate dog lover, and honestly has more patience than anyone I've ever met. My only concern is that my pup loves being at her house maybe more than mine, since Courtney's dogs are her new best friends! I can't recommend her highly enough, except I'll be sad if she ever ends up booked when I need her. I couldn't imagine using anyone else.”

I am available for walks and check ins before 12pm Monday through Friday. On the weekends I am available in the mornings. I can not board or take care of pets in my home. About: I have had dogs since I was 7 years old. I currently own two of my own and both are age 2. I help family when they are out of town with the care of their dogs. I currently work part time flexible hours! I can start around 9am until late night. I can do long weekend care as well. Flexibility open I do have two dogs with a fenced in yard. “Had a magnificent experience leaving my boys ( 7 months old) with Annalisa. First, I must say that I am new to Rover and was leaving my pups for the first time, so needless to say I was nervous. Annalisa sensed our nervousness and first graciously came over to my home to meet us and the boys in their own environment with her own dog. The boys felt really comfortable with Annalisa and her dog. We then went to her place and the boys were thrilled again to see her and her dog once again, and they felt really comfortable at her home. So we felt at ease with the decision to leave them there. While we were on our trip we communicated daily and got pictures of the boys. Annalisa was easy to reach. She was always reassured us the boys were well and happy. She herself always seemed at ease and comfortable and happy to be with the boys. I always worry about how the boys will be accepted as they are very energetic and rambunctious but Annalisa seemed to take it all in stride.She even explained that she had to give one of the boys a bath as he had soiled himself. When we came to pick them up it was clear they were happy there. We feel very good about the whole experience. She did a wonderful job of making us feel at ease about leaving the boys there with her. Its clear the boys were well attended to and were made to feel at home there with her. It was important for us that the boys were treated as well as we try to treat them ourselves. Annalisa met all our needs and we trust her completely with the boys. We recommend her highly.”

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.
