About: With a lifetime of experience caring for animals, I’ve been a devoted pet lover since childhood—raising everything from reptiles to horses. As an avid equestrian and proud dog mom to a sassy Chihuahua and a sweet, loyal Doberman, animals are truly my heart. Over the years, I’ve been surrounded by friends and family with dogs of all breeds and sizes—from the tiniest lap dogs to extra-large, high-energy breeds. I’ve come to appreciate that every dog, no matter their size, has a unique personality and set of needs—and I’m confident in providing thoughtful, tailored care for each one. Whether you need a go-to dog walker or a trusted sitter, I’m here for your pups—whether they’re playful puppies, stubborn teens, or gentle seniors. Now based in Dallas for work, I’m my own boss and run my own business—setting my schedule with intention and care. My workload is flexible and not demanding, which gives me ample availability between projects. That’s why I’m extending myself to Rover, hoping to build meaningful connections with pet owners in the area. Just as I’m selective with the clients and projects I take on, I believe you should be just as discerning when choosing the right fit for your beloved pet. I bring the same professionalism, patience, and detail-oriented approach to pet care as I do to my own company. I’m clean, kind, reliable, and entirely transparent about the time, attention, and affection I can provide. I typically work on a project-to-project basis and create my weekly schedule at the beginning of the week. Because of this, I have the freedom to offer quality, attentive care—providing for your pets the same way I desire care for my own. When caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s—I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm, loving environment. I treat every animal as if they were my own, offering consistent affection, attention, and care tailored to their individual needs. My goal is to ensure each pet not only feels secure but also has the space to build a trusting bond with me. I’ve spent years engaging with and being surrounded by animals of all kinds—especially dogs and horses—which has given me a natural intuition and deep respect for their needs. In addition, I’ve taken time to study animal care more intentionally, developing a solid understanding of pet behavior, training techniques, and how to prevent exposure to anything harmful or toxic. While my own dogs are well-trained (and a little spoiled), I know not every pet arrives with the same structure—which is why I approach each animal with patience, adaptability, and genuine care.

“Axel did such a good job walking my new puppy the last few days while I was at work. He was prompt, communicative, and Harry definitely seemed to love him. Will definitely keep booking with him!”

About: Hi there — call me Joseph, J Taylor, Taylor, TayTay: I'm new to Rover, but I've spent over 10 years caring for dogs, cats, and other pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I’m your pet’s temporary bestie when you have to call out for the evening, the week, whatever the case may be! Whether it's a high-energy pup or a senior needing extra attention, I offer dependable, thoughtful care tailored to your pet’s needs. Outside of pet care, I’m a working stage actor with a physically active lifestyle, which means I’m more than able to keep up with dogs who need a bit more than a stroll around the block. When I’m not performing, pet care is something I’ve consistently returned to — not just for extra work, but because I genuinely enjoy it. I offer house sitting, drop-ins, and walks, with experience in administering medication, reinforcing training, and providing specialized support for both younger dogs and seniors. Some of my favorite animal memories in my life include Spankey, my “first dog”: a Blue Heeler/Pit mix who found us in a Minyard’s parking lot and stayed for life— and Monkey, my totally sweet scrappy barn cat who lived to 18. She was my girl! I’d be glad to connect and learn more about your pet and what they need — I’m flexible, communicative, and happy to work with any specifics you might have. Chat soon! 🐶 I’m home for the summer from school where I’ve just completed my first semester of my Master’s degree in Directing for Theatre. Open availability through the middle of August! I update my schedule regularly, up to 9 months in advance. As soon as I find out about openings in the future, feel free to plan ahead with me! Overnight, AM or PM, I’ll have you covered. I always start by following the guidance you provide. My background as both an actor and director has taught me when to lead, when to follow, and how to read a situation — skills that translate naturally into thoughtful, responsive pet care. In my care, animals are treated with respect for their individual needs. I don’t believe in overindulging just because they ask — I aim for a healthy balance. High energy dogs will get the movement they need; quieter pets will be gently engaged in ways that suit them. I let animals take the lead when it’s right, and I step in with structure when it’s needed. Caring for animals isn’t one-size-fits-all — it’s a thoughtful rhythm, and one I really enjoy finding with each pet.
