House Sitting in Chilco

About: Dogs have so much personality. Ive always enjoyed the enthusiasm they exhibit whenever I show up at their place of residence. It’s fun to toss a ball, frisbee, or whatever their toy of choice is. And taking them out for walks around their neighborhood is always a refreshing experience. They get their exercise and so do I. I’m self employed as a freelance landscaper and take on other odd jobs as needed so my schedule is pretty flexible. I do my best to adjust to the needs of the clients who have hired me in the past. I prefer coming to the clients place to care for their pets as it’s an environment that’s already familiar to the animals and I’m always preoccupied with the comfort of the pets I’m looking after. Plus they have the set routines they are used to and it’s far easier to implement a routine on familiar ground for the animals.

But I am the pet sitter for my family and friends so I’m use to the change of environments. So if your pet has cute quirks and unique schedule don’t worry I am totally on board. I understand having someone new enter your families environment is super hard but I am here to keep your furry friends safe and do things at your pace.

Professional educator offering loving, dog‑only care—walks, enrichment, adventures, or calm indoor comfort, individually tailored. Huge Heart. Currently my schedule is very open for all work. If this does not fill the schedule, will need to adjust around other work. But this is my current priority. If other work is needed, pets still come first and receive 150% love, care, and attention. My doggy is on the rainbow bridge. It is just me in the home. I follow the owners rules and wishes. I want to keep to their training and routines. I don't want the owner coming home to a doggy with bad habits or upset tummy. I want to keep the same diet and structure. I'm a professional, certified teacher and past hospital worker. “Laura is hands down the best dog sitter we have ever had for Murphy. A week before we had a horrific experience with another Rover we booked for a last minute trip, and we just prayed Laura was as great as she seemed during our meet and greets. She exceeded all expectations. She was extremely communicative and sent frequent updates everyday. We never once had to worry about the safety or wellbeing of Murphy. She was incredibly caring and intuitive when it came to caring for him. Murphy is extremely affectionate and requires lots of cuddles and attention, and Laura never failed to deliver. We could tell he was well loved while we were gone for 2 1/2 weeks. This is the longest we have been away from our boy and I am so grateful that we found an angel like Laura. She also took care of our house and it looked impeccable when we returned. Thank you so very much! Laura will be our number one choice for any future services.”

About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.

About: I am a school counselor, a mom, an adventurer, and a huge pet lover! We recently adopted a sweet Pitty named Bruce and are head over heels in love with the guy. I am no longer able to accommodate pets for daycare or overnights, but am happy to still check in at your home and go for walks :) I grew up with 6 shih tzus, 5 ferrets, 2 parakeets, and a mink. My pets were a part of our family and were always well cared for. I personally have owned a pit bull (now 2), a husky malamute mix, a german short hair, a terrier, a ferret, 4 cows, 4 ducks, 3 pigs, and 12 chickens. I have experience caring for animals of all ages. I enjoy going for walks and hikes and am looking forward to having some pet pals to tag along. I am patient, flexible, and open to new opportunities to bond with different types of pets. I'm available most weekends and holiday breaks. For longer durations please send me a message and I'll try my best to work with your schedule. I love the outdoors and would love to take your pet on some short hikes around local parks with your permission of course. When doing drop ins and walking your pet I am always happy to play fetch, tug of war, get in all the snuggles, and soak up all the fun.
