About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mikey. I left my two dogs with her, a senior dog and an almost 1 year old puppy and I had no doubts that they would be taken care of when I dropped them off. I got pictures and videos frequently but that’s not what set her apart. My senior dog required a little more patience and maintenance and she took such good care of him. My puppy had the worst timing when she got her first cycle two days after we left. I offered to send supplies and profusely apologized but Mikey told me not to worry and instead told me to enjoy my vacation. My two dogs were probably a little more work then I thought but she never made me feel bad about it. I would recommend 100 %.”

I also will play outside in the fresh air with your doggo. I never give people food to any dog and will rush to grab something off the floor if dropped to get it before they do. I make sure they have enough water in a clean bowl regularly and never have to hold their pee :) if requested, I will pick up poop out of the yard and definitely on a walk or playing at the park. Dogs are so special to us and deserve the best care!

After sharing a little information back and forth, she agreed to take our girl Shelby for the day. I can't express enough how very blessed and fortunate I was to have found Carolyn. Upon meeting her, and dropping off Shelby the next morning, I felt an instant connection, and she was gracious in sending me updates and pics throughout the day to provide assurance that Shelby was doing fine! We continued to use Carolyn's services for several more days, and each morning when we arrived, Shelby was excited to see her, and to go play with the other dogs in her care. Carolyn provided a good balance of outdoor play and indoor rest to ensure that the dogs didn't get too overheated. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating with drop off and pickup times as well. I will close with saying that Carolyn is an absolute sweetheart, and that I gained a new friend in Coeur 'd Alene! I look forward to using her services when visiting the area again. I used to have four as well so I am used to a busy household. I do work part time with a lot of weekend availability specifically Saturdays. And work a flexible schedule. About: I grew up caring for animals, dogs, cats, horses, fish, cows, chickens, and a goat, having pets most of my life. My background is in healthcare while in the military. I have been my father's caregiver which allowed me to help foster puppy litters to adult dogs and care for a pack of 8 dogs-4 of which are mine while caring for him. While doing drop in visits, I check the state of outdoor yards prior to letting animals out. This avoids possible escape or contact with animals or foreign materials. I currently have a 5-month-old chocolate Labrador named Greta and two horses, and I’ve grown up caring for dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, fish, rats, cows, and more. “Christy not only goes above and beyond but her knowledge & skills are amazing! Yesterday I moved and my dog started to panic. Christy arrived and I looked to her for advice and help! Ultimately I decided my dog needed her medication. It takes a long time to kick in though. Christy took her for a walk, gaves her loves, cuddled her, talked to, etc. The more going on in the house the more panicked she was! She was trying to fight the medication. Ultimately Christy's magic worked! She loves Christy and I knew if anyone could calm her it was her!! I don't think even I could have...they have developed such a special bond 💗”
About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.

About: i am extremely experience with pets of all abilities, sizes, weights, breeds, and ages. I also have experience with medication administration! I also have experience transporting pets in the car. I thoroughly enjoy long or quick walks or hanging out with the pups at your home :) I am available every day of the week! My only UNavailable times are (including my driving time): - Tuesday 11:15 - 5:15 - Wednesday 9:15 - 1:15 - Thursday 9:45 - 3:00 I spend time with your pups following instructions very carefully . I care about movement and exercise for your pup, as well as finding out their music tastes! I care for them with cuddles and scratches and personal attention. I also will play outside in the fresh air with your doggo. I never give people food to any dog and will rush to grab something off the floor if dropped to get it before they do. I make sure they have enough water in a clean bowl regularly and never have to hold their pee :) if requested, I will pick up poop out of the yard and definitely on a walk or playing at the park. Dogs are so special to us and deserve the best care!

After i get back, I will let dogs out, and make sure to feed the animals and let them out one more time before bed! I am very flexible to spend most if not all my available time with your pets. I'll play with them either in their yard or in the house. I like to give them treats. After the initial sit, I offer baths and brushing for your dogs and cats at the end of the sits, depending if they are comfortable enough with me or not. However, if your dog or cat is heavily matted, I will not try to brush those out as they need proffessional grooming.
About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mikey. I left my two dogs with her, a senior dog and an almost 1 year old puppy and I had no doubts that they would be taken care of when I dropped them off. I got pictures and videos frequently but that’s not what set her apart. My senior dog required a little more patience and maintenance and she took such good care of him. My puppy had the worst timing when she got her first cycle two days after we left. I offered to send supplies and profusely apologized but Mikey told me not to worry and instead told me to enjoy my vacation. My two dogs were probably a little more work then I thought but she never made me feel bad about it. I would recommend 100 %.”
