About: I live in a family home with a big fenced in yard. We are close to a lot of state parks and trails to walk/run throughout the day. I am home all day with my four kids and 2 dogs. Our dogs love to play but will also relax and cuddle for hours. I understand each animal is different and I can cater to your animal's personal needs. My dog loves meeting and having new friends to play with. My children also love dogs and will play with them all day but understand when they want to be done. We are a animal loving family and would do everything your pet needs to feel at home and feel safe while you're out and about. We hope to see you soon! I have 5 friendly dogs that would love to have play dates or I can easily crate or separate my own personal pets or your pets (with your permission) if needed. If crating is not an option my house is set up to where I can keep my personal pets and your pets separated from each other without the need of crates. I also have plenty of toys and even a doggy pool to help keep your fur babies happy while you are away. I offer the option of pickup/drop offs being done but only by meeting outside, I do not want the fur babies to feel like I am taking them away from their owner. Thank you for your understanding and support in this matter! I am currently a stay at home mom. I have two beautiful children along with 5 very spoiled dogs that I consider my own children as well. I have a fenced yard and crates if you are okay with crating. I also have baby gates as well. If dogs need to have separation time that is understandable or if they need to be separated 100% of the time I can have that set up with no issues. Everyone's safety is 100% important no matter what.

Dog sitting fits my schedule very well, with weekday availability after 5 PM for walks, feeding, and care, and flexible, devoted time throughout my weekends. I prefer to watch your animal at your home, ensuring comfort and familiarity for them, unless an emergency happens that requires alternate arrangements for their care.

My own dog tore his ACL while I was in college, and for months I carried him up and down stairs while managing his recovery. He also had allergies that required daily medicated baths, a special diet, and multiple medications. I truly believe every pet has a unique personality. I approach pet care with attentiveness, patience, and playfulness so animals feel safe, understood, and well cared for. About: I love Rover! I mean, what better job exists than to get paid to spend time with other people's animals? My name is Dan, and I have been around animals my whole life. Currently I am a cat dad of two girls, but I am also comfortable and familiar with dogs, rabbits, and other animals as well. I currently live in a large three bedroom. The property is out in the country, but only a few miles away from Gainesville, so it's far enough to be away from the sounds and stress of the city without really being in the middle of nowhere. It's not the fanciest place, in need of remodeling, but it is calm, comfortable, and pet friendly. There is no smoking inside. The property is not fenced, so I will be keeping everyone inside, except for supervised walks, etc. I am able to board cats, most dogs, and other animals as well. I work from home in addition to doing this, so when I do have a furry guest, I am home twenty four hours a day. I like to actually spend time with the animals I have visiting, so if you have a super playful dog- or one that just likes to hang out on the couch next to someone- I'd probably be a good match. If I am not boarding anyone at the moment, I can walk dogs, feed cats, etc, as well, as long as you are not too far away from where I live. Things I require: 1. I need to meet your animals first (especially for dogs). 2. If I don't feel comfortable , or I feel like an animal is not comfortable with me, I will not confirm the booking. Animals are just like people, we all have those we like and don't like, so don't take it personal if I decline a booking. 3. I do need emergency contact and vet information. I hope I never have to deal with any emergency, but it is better to be prepared and ready, than to be running around scrambling if something does happen. 4. Of course, I need as much food, etc, as is needed for the stay. Things I offer: 1. Lots of attention. Of course, some animals- especially some cats- aren't really keen on it, and that's okay! But if they are, I love to play with my guests! 2. I don't mix animals from different families. 3. I don't charge extra for extra cats, and I only charge a little bit extra for extra dogs. I have been doing this off and on for some time now, and while I don't have as many clients as I want to have, my reviews are good and solid for a reason. I have my own two cats who take up all my time when I'm not out taking care of other people's animals, or otherwise working. The only time I'm usually not available is if I have already made prior commitments. I treat animals like they are children, because to me, they are. My own two are my favorite people in this world, but I love animals in general. I especially enjoy cats, friendly dogs, and giant rabbits. 😃 I like to treat each cat, dog, rabbit, etc, as the unique personality they are. Some cats, for example, are a little more standoffish than others. The best thing to do with them is to not push them. Nobody cat or human likes someone standing in front of them demanding attention ! Some dogs, for example, are very laid back and really just want to lay next to you and snuggle. Others are always ready to play! I am knowledgeable about safety, and when I am doing a drop in visit, I always keep an eye out for anything that doesn't look right. When I am dog walking, I like to go places that are less traveled, I keep my attention fully on them, and on everything going on around us. When I am with your animals, they are my first and only priority.

About: Howdy! I’m a EMT student trying to incorporate my love for animals in with keeping in shape for my next career. I’ve lived and worked on farmland all my life — I’m not phased by aggressive *livestock*, much less a reactive dog! I spend a lot of my time currently training dogs for people in need, and working with shelters to help their nervous dogs develop some adoptable skills. I’ve also been volunteering with disabled animals (wildlife and domestic alike) since I was in middle school, in rehab facilities and as a home foster, and I’m very accustomed to delivering meds to all the most resistant patients. They’re a part of my daily function — they eat when I eat, I don’t go for runs without them, and if I’m going to any pet-friendly store they can behave in, they’re already in the car. My pets and any others in my care are not only my first priority in terms of safety, but in fun! My career and lifestyle has had me naturally trained in pet aggression and reactivity, including muzzles and muzzle training, crate training, heavy leash pulling etc.
