“Meagan is the BEST! She not only takes care of feeding and litter boxes, but she always give my cat, Murphy, tons of love. I always hate leaving him alone, but knowing Meagan is taking care of him I don't worry.”

About: I’ve worked with all types of dogs most of life, being my own, family members or friends pets. I have done all types of tacks including bath time, walking and feeding. I am currently looking for a more permanent job. So right now I am pretty much completely available until I have more information on that. I am available for drop in visits and walks, when I come over to see your fur babies I am able take them outside in your yard if accessible or walking however needed with no problem
“Kristen has been amazing with my animals. She always keeps me updated when she visits and you can tell by the pictures she truly cares for my animals. She is my go to girl when I need help!”

About: I have a beautiful Siberian Husky who loves her walks. All pets deserve their time outside to sniff and stretch their paws. I will give your pet the fresh air and exercise they need (and maybe a treat or two) I work in education so I have the summers off. I enjoy nothing more than spending time in the fresh air with furry, four legged friends. I have experience working with the plethora of animals. I understand the importance of keeping your pets safe. Prior to my first walk/house visit, I ask the client to give me a summary of command words, routines, and your own expectations of your pet and myself for an easy transition and happy experience for your pet.
“Leah was fantastic!! The care that she expressed for our pups, you would think they were hers! She was very punctual, gave us wonderful updates, and expressed so much love for them. We will definitely use her again in the future if the we need a sitter!! Thanks Leah 😃”

“Tara was marvelous. She took such good care of our kitty and gave her all the cuddles she needed. She has an extraordinary ability to bond with both people and animals. She went above and beyond what was required of her. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and feel that my cat was safe and well looked after.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I was really nervous to try it. We have a senior dog that doesn’t travel well and we usually have people come stay or check in on him, but none of them could do it. I searched Rover for people who had good reviews and repeat customers. Leilani agreed to help last minute and it was much appreciated. She checked on our senior guy twice while we were gone overnight, took care of his diaper, and cleaned up any messes he had. She also fed him. She sent pictures and communicated any problems. It looks like he didn’t want to get out of bed so she brought his food to him for one of the feedings, which was a super sweet way to make sure he got food. We would hire her again.”

“Kayla was great! She was up front about how long she had left before she had to move back to Manchester for college and that communication continued throughout all of the walks she took my dog on. Highly recommend!”

About: I am a mom to a wonderful 4 year old boy! I am a server at the moment, also looking to fill up some of my free time by spending time with and looking after some pups and cats since I am not allowed to have my own full time at the place I currently live! I have been around animals almost my entire life, mainly dogs, but also cats; birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, and also a chameleon! When I was around 7 up until age 12, I helped my aunts take care of over 20 miniature pinchers, as well as a Doberman, 5 cats, 3 ferrets, and two birds! And afterwards, I’ve lived with three pups that have absolutely all of my heart. Since moving out of my parents a several years ago though, I only get to see my pups a few times a week, and god do I miss being around them for snuggles, walks, and playtime outside. I cherish every moment with them. I don’t currently have any pups living with me at my own place, the stars haven’t aligned quite yet to take in a dog of our own, which is why I’ve decided to become apart of this community so that I am able to still spend more time with pups and also help out others who need their’s watched and cared for! I know most dogs (and some cats depending on their mood aha) just need lots of love and attention, and it can be super nerve wracking for them to be away from their owners, but also nerve wracking for the owners to leave their pets with a stranger. Dogs and cats are more than pets, they’re family. Trusting in me to care and look after your pet is something that will never be overlooked, and I will do whatever I can to ensure that they are cared for and kept safe, as well as doing whatever is needed to give you complete piece of mind that your loved one(s) are in the greatest of hands✨ I look forward to meeting you and your pups or kittys!! I have Monday-Wednesday off, varying things going on during those three days so availability will vary! Fridays I’m available anytime after 4 ! Weekends I usually do doubles so I don’t have much time on those days Although I don’t have a fenced in yard, there are plenty of parks around for exploring and play time, as well as some yard space just right outside my home if you don’t feel comfortable with your pup being brought elsewhere! My place isn’t too big but my home is their’s for as long as they’re here! I can give baths if needed, walks, snuggles, and playtime!

“Christina was awesome!! Not only a kind individual, but wonderful with our two pups! She offered to work on some training while she spent the day with them, took them to the dog park, and was very accommodating when our plans changed. We will definitely use her again for pet sitting in the future!!!”

“I am so grateful to Kate for taking care of my shy old Shel'ma! Kate is a great cat sitter, responsible and kind, following all recommendations and loving animals! It was a pleasure to work with Kate, I would not hesitate to ask her to take care of Shel'ma again.”

“Dawn was very sweet and professional. She took great care of our cat, Murphy. In addition to feeding and cleaning the litter box, she gave him lots of love and sent photos. We were very comfortable with Dawn and will absolutely ask her to take care of Murphy again when we go away for an extended period of time. 5 stars Dawn!!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Chichester. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
