About: While I grew up with and love dogs, my wife’s allergies prevent us from getting one of our own - I joined rover to hang with some cool pups and to help make sure I get my daily steps in! I work as an independent consultant and work from home, so I have flexibility during the day to help with short/long walks, trips to Wissahickon Park, or to head to one of the local dog parks, etc.. I live in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia over by Walnut Lane Golf Course. Prefer to stay in the local area (short drive is OK). In the past I've had a variety of big and small dogs ranging for dachshunds, to chihuahuas, to golden doodles, to labradors. So big or small, I'm happy to help care for your pup! I currently work as an independent consultant, so I have flexibility to schedule around my fur friends needs. I do occasionally travel for backpacking trips or to see friends, however you’ll have plenty of advance notice. Each pet and their needs are unique, whether it’s a nice long walk or a good long scratch, I’ll be sure to follow your regimen to ensure your pet’s needs are met.

“Yuhan was great with my dogs! They are very excited to see her when she comes over. She handles my younger pitbull on leash well and is so sweet towards my older senior dog.”

About: I love all animals big and small. I’ve been dog walking since high school and love a dog play date. While I only have cats in my own home, I can’t wait to become best friends with your fur baby. I’m a hybrid worker with flexibility. I’m happy to help early or late! I’m used to juggling different projects and work well under pressure. Most weekends I spend exploring Philly and love to unwind with my pets. At home, I know that it’s my cats’ house, I’m just lucky to live with them. I’m all about pet comfort, while sticking to routines.

“5 stars- Meredith has been fantastic walking our energetic, 6 month old puppy, and is very punctual and reliable. Our dog is always excited to see her and always comes back smiling. Highly recommend!”

“We were very happy to meet Ryan through Rover and he was very attentive to our dogs patterns and ours. He is very responsive and reliable. We are looking forward to his house sitting for us while we are away.”

Chestnut Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
We’re so grateful to Carolyn for stepping in on short notice while our regular walker was unavailable. She was kind, communicative, and very patient with our foster dog, who is still adjusting to new people and environments. Although he had a fearful reaction, she handled the situation calmly and respectfully, which we really appreciated. It was clear she has a great way with animals and a lot of compassion. Thank you again for being so understanding and giving it a try :)

Madison showed up perfectly on time and took our pup for a FULL walk. Sent lots of pics and great communication. Our dog is pretty large and can be high energy and it was nice to not worry and have someone so competent and caring for her. We will definitely be asking her do future walks. 100%

Amber is a wonderful dog walker. She understood exactly what I wanted her to do with respect to my dog having good manners, Not pulling, not jumping up on people. She communicates very well and is a pleasure to work with. In the future I will not hesitate to book her again !
