I am currently a student athlete at Iowa State University. I am available for drop-in visits during weekdays and weekends. Additionally, I can do overnight visits on the weekends. I am flexible with my schedule, however, and can make accommodations for your pets needs! In order to care for your pet best, I will communicate with you on walking schedules, medications, and any other accommodations. I have experience giving medications such as pills, eye drops, ear drops, and ear cleaning solutions. I am more than willing to work with the owner on special care and welcome instruction.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up surrounded by both dogs and cats, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. In my younger years, I regularly house-sat and walked dogs for coworkers and friends, helping them feel at ease while they were away. Life got busy with marriage and raising a family, but now that my kids are more independent, I have the time and flexibility to do something I truly enjoy again—spending time with animals and providing loving care when their owners can’t be there. My family and I have four friendly, sweet dogs and some chickens of our own, so I truly understand how much pets mean to a family. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and dependable to care for your pets. I’ll treat your pets like family—giving them attention, love, and care while keeping you updated for peace of mind. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply making sure they’re happy and safe while you’re away, I’m here to help. I work part-time as a nurse, and caring for others—whether people or animals—is truly what I love to do. My nursing schedule gives me several days off during the week and some weekends open for pet care. My availability can vary, but I’ll always keep my calendar updated so you can easily see when I’m free. Just reach out—I’d love to help whenever I can and treat your pets with the same care and kindness I give my patients and my own family. I have a fully fenced-in yard where your dog can safely play and socialize with my four fur babies, making sure they get plenty of fun and exercise. If needed, I can also crate your dog if you supply the crate in a comfortable and secure space. I’m attentive and responsible, prioritizing your pet’s safety and comfort at all times. While I am most available for dog walking, letting dogs out, and spending quality time with them, I’m happy to tailor care to your pet’s needs. You can trust me to provide a loving and safe environment, following your instructions closely and keeping you updated.

About: I have worked in all sorts of animal related fields from animal care in a shelter to working in a grooming salon. I formally ran my own business and I’m trained in medical administration and pet cpr. I’ll truly treat your pet as if they were my own babies at home. I currently work full time from 9a-5p on weekdays and I have weekends completely free. I am available both before and after work for walks and stays. I will also have weekends and holidays available. Currently I am living on my own and will not have the space available for care within my home but I will gladly care for pets within the clients home.

“Tre is on time and communicates all about the visit. He is extremely professional and easy to work with. Plus my dog did not bark at him!!! While my Bella has fears and anxiety issues, he found ways to work with her. We will definitely use him again!”

About: I grew up on a farm and have taken care of all sorts of animals including dogs, cats, farm animals and reptiles. I am a second year student at SUNY Delhi working on my associates in animal science. I have a 3 year old cat and bearded dragon that I take care of daily (food, water, litter, play time). My mother travels a lot and I often take care of her 4 dogs (3 large, one small). I am well versed in quick schedule changes and am very willing to work with whatever timeframe worked best for you. I can give proper care to any animal you need as well as play time, attention, and activity. I also have the skills to take care of animals with any medical needs/conditions.

About: I have a lot of experience with both dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes!! I have owned 2 cats and 4 dogs in my lifetime, and have petsat for over a dozen people who owned both cats and dogs. I am currently working part-time, but have flexible hours. I am willing to provide help whenever needed, just ask! Sometimes I have a church event or two that I am commited to, but typically I am able to fit my schedule around your doggie. I can take your pets on long walks, feed them, brush them, play with them, change their litter, and perform any reasonable task you need me to do for them. Whatever you have me do, I will do with love.

Brooke S.
“I have known Brooke for over 12 years. We are colleagues at Christiana Care as nurses on the Oncology unit. During that time, Brooke has exemplified the characteristics of an ideal nurse: professional, excellent clinical skills and judgement, caring, and timely. I was lucky enough to develop a friendship with Brooke off the clock. In her personal life, she is kind, organized, and energetic, and has helped me care for my animals without hesitation, including walking, feeding, nail clipping, and medication administration. Additionally, I have witnessed Brooke diligently care for her own dogs, highlighting what a responsible pet owner should strive for. Her passion for animals is evident as she has a sincere love for nature; I even accompanied her when she got her 4th rescue dog. I highly recommend Brooke Simpson for Rover and believe she would make an excellent addition to your team. Heather Poeta 7/12/25”

Shannon M.
“Shannon is reliable, responsible, and best if all she loves my animals like I do! I know they are well cared for when I'm away. I can usually count on her to provide the best care possible.”

Sydney W.
“I have 4 dogs, 3 large and 1 terrier. Sydney has been watching my dogs when I leave on business trips, which is often. Sydney is a vet tech student which makes me more comfortable in case there's an emergency. One of my dogs is highly anxious with any loud noise and tries to get out of the house or into any locked room. So, one of my favorite things about Sydney is that she is always conscious of the weather and is at my home whenever there are possible storms and I haven't had to worry about damage my Bailey could do. Sydney also doesn't just watch the dogs, but is WITH them - giving lots of love and attention, playing with toys and keeping them happy and distracted. My dogs love to see Sydney and the house is always in better shape than when I've left it. I highly recommend Sydney to take care of your pets.”

Kira B.
“Kira has helped take care of our dogs on several occasions. And whenever she is visiting with us she loves on them and plays with them. She seems to sincerely care about them. I leave instructions some times with specifics and she always respects our wishes.”
