About: We’re a pet-loving household with years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all personalities and energy levels. We have two friendly, lazy hounds, two laid-back cats, and our young son, who absolutely loves animals and has grown up learning how to be gentle, respectful, and caring with pets. I work from home and balance my schedule with classes, so I’m able to provide consistent attention throughout the day whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or drop-in visits. Your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches, and their needs will always be a priority. We also have a large, fully fenced-in yard that gives dogs plenty of room to run, explore, and burn off energy in a safe space. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax in the sun, we can accommodate their pace and preferences. We have comfy couches they can rest on when they're done outside and maybe get a treat or few. As a special touch, every dog that stays with us receives a complimentary bath before going home, so they come back to you happy, clean, and well cared for. We treat every pet like part of our family and work hard to create a safe, loving, and fun environment where they’ll feel right at home while you’re away. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to your babies consistent attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feedings, or just keeping them company, I’m able to adjust my routine to meet each pet’s needs and keep them comfortable and happy! We are able to administer medications and accommodate any special care needs without issue. Inside our home, pets have access to heating pads, soft blankets, couches, and cozy beds so they can rest comfortably whenever they need. We can also provide crates for pets that are crate-trained and require them for comfort or routine. Safety is our top priority, and we always require a meet and greet before booking to ensure it’s the right fit for everyone and that each pet feels comfortable in our care.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and ages since I was young. I currently have six dogs of my own, each with their own unique personalities and needs, so I’m very comfortable handling a variety of temperaments and care routines. My lifelong love for animals means I’m always willing to go the extra mile to make sure your pet stays happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away. My schedule is fully flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of quality time to your pet and give them the attention and affection they deserve. Whether I’m stopping by for a visit, taking your dog for a walk, or staying overnight, I’m happy to provide regular photo and video updates. I’ll also make sure to spend extra time playing, engaging, and having fun with them so they feel safe and loved in your absence. Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. Since I have six dogs of my own, my daily routine naturally revolves around feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, training reinforcement, and making sure each dog gets individual attention based on their specific needs. Because I’m used to planning my days around animal care, adding visits, walks, or overnight stays for other pets fits seamlessly into my schedule. I’m very organized and make sure each pet gets dedicated, unrushed time. Throughout the week, I build my routine around the pets I’m caring for to ensure consistency, reliability, and plenty of love and attention for everyone. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and structured environment. I’m very experienced in managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I follow each pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible—including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, medications (if needed), and sleep routines—to help them feel comfortable and secure. I also make sure they get plenty of supervised playtime, enrichment, and one-on-one attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine consistent to reduce stress while you’re away. Whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, or overnight stays, I make sure your pet is fed on schedule, exercised appropriately, and given lots of affection and engagement. I’m attentive to details like refreshing water, cleaning up after them, administering medications if needed, and keeping their space tidy. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident and connected while you’re gone. No matter the service, my goal is always the same: to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 15, and looking after animals alone since I was 10 years old. I have been the go-to pet sitter for two of my friend’s families for years. I have plenty of experience staying overnight with cats, dogs, caged reptiles, and fish while house sitting. I’m also comfortable feeding animals medicine and practicing with pets in training. I’m more than happy to care for your backyard family members as well! I’ve fed chickens, ducks, pigs, and filled water buckets for cows; so, feel free to introduce me to any extended family out back! I’m home from university for the summer and have much free time to play and care for my pets as well as yours! I like to spend time outside and go for walks or jogs, so I’m eager to play with your puppy or active dog. I’m great with calmer animals too! My dog, Ollie, is very mellow and loves a snuggle or nap time! I have a privacy fenced large back yard, so pets have plenty of space to zoom around. Pets are allowed on furniture in my home; so, unless instructed otherwise, your babies will be able to lay on our couch and chairs. I’m home most of the day to spend time with pets!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats for over 10 years and genuinely love being around animals. Growing up with pets has given me experience with feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, and recognizing their individual needs and personalities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I will treat them with the same care, patience, and attention that I give my own. Whether your pet needs an energetic playmate or a calm companion, I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and reliable experience. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I can accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I make it a priority to communicate clearly with pet owners and ensure their pets receive consistent care, attention, and affection while they’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and routines to help pets feel secure and maintain consistency. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the time to build trust with them while providing plenty of attention, patience, and care. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: Hi, my name is Rebecca, as long as I can remember I have always had love and compassion for all animals. My 15-year-old daughter does go with me on my overnight visits, always with owners permission and meeting both the owner and pet. She's excellent with all animals & loves them as much as I do! So, it will be double the attention and love for your fur baby! Àbout me: I have two small dogs and they are very loved and spoiled! My male dog Sam is a Puggle and my female Bella is a Whipped mix. Both of my babies are socialized and love making new friends! I've worked at a dog daycare / boarding / grooming facility. I have experience with large and small groups of dogs at one time and one-on-one. I am a very easy going, patient & happy person. I am happiest around animals. I have always had dogs, at one time I had 5. I have experience with senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. I am extremely sensitive and aware of animals and their behaviors. I am an open book, anything you want to know just ask! I can promise to be 100% dedicated to get to know your pet and all of his/her needs! I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! 🐾 Fully Insured 🐾 Also, you can check my Facebook page for more reviews, at Pet Sitting by Becky. At this time I am not offering boarding at my home. Possibly, soon in the near future. As stated above I used to work at an animal hospital but I am available early mornings, mid - afternoons for a drop in, evenings and overnights. I am very respectful and mindful of the owners rules and schedules for their pets. The more detailed information I can get about your pet and routine the better!

About: I have taken care of animals since i was a child! I personally had 4+ dogs/cats at a time growing up since I was 5 years old and even now! As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home the majority of the day and night, which allows me to give consistent attention and supervision. I only step out briefly for school drop-off/pick-up or short errands, typically no more than a few hours total. Your dog will not be left alone for long stretches and will be treated like part of our daily routine, with regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of interaction throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live on 2 fully fenced acres, providing plenty of secure space to run and explore while always supervised. When indoors, pets are part of our family environment — relaxing, playing, or cuddling in a calm and clean home. I carefully follow each dog’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions to ensure they feel safe and at ease. My goal is to create a structured but loving environment where your pup feels right at home.

Tuesday took extra special care of our baby Louie for his very first Rover walk! I loved seeing the pictures and knowing he was in good hands. Kynleigh did such a great job with our new puppy, Louie! She was so attentive and sweet, and even when she wasn’t feeling great, she still made it on time to walk him. She was also super warm and loving with our dogs — she took time to play with our older dog, Cash, and even gave him a treat, which meant a lot to us. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals, and we really appreciated her reliability and kindness. We would absolutely recommend her and look forward to having her help us again. ♥️🐶💯

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 2,675 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Cherry Hill. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Cherry Hill. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Cherry Hill.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cherry Hill. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
