“Lauran is an absolute dream of a companion, house sitter, fur baby manager and lover, and just overall great human. Lauran was thoughtful, responsive and responsible in every way. From sharing pics of our Simon and Molly with us, to asking questions of us as needed, to her bubbly and positive personality, to her attention to detail, she will be our go to person every time we need someone who we trust to spend time at our home and with our pups. We came home to a house nice Ethan we left it a two dogs that were clearly well taken care of while we weee away. Thank you Lauran for being such a great Rover sitter! Thank you Lauran for giving us such peace found and comfort as we traveled.”

“Catherine was great with our pups! She saved us in a pinch and booked us last minute so we could make our concert! She was very tentative when we gave her instructions and had no issues bonding right to our 3 babies. If we are ever in Louisville again and need our pups watched, she will be our first call! We also got video and picture updates the entire time we were gone! Top tier service!”

“Ava was great! She is one of the best sitters I have had so far, she did exactly everything that I asked if her. I loved all of the picture she sent throughout the day and that made me feel at ease although I was 300 miles away. My apartment felt even cleaner than I left it! My cat was seemed happy and content when I came back - she wasn’t clingy at all like she didn’t miss me much lol. I would definitely ask Ava to sit my place again. Highly recommend her.”

“Willow was great with our greyhounds. We booked Willow to watch our pets for the day while we were out for an extended period of time. He was flexible with arrival /departure times, attentive to instructions and his calm demeanor was exactly what our two needed. We will be calling on Willow in the future to watch them again when the need arises.”

“I just returned home. My home is in perfect shape, and my pup, Villa, is calm and happy. I hope things went as well for Alan as they seem to have for Villa! I hope next time I travel that Alan is available!”

“Madison was a pleasure to have in my home. My partner and I were gone for the entire day with a 13 week old shepherd puppy at home. Not only were we worried about leaving him alone for an entire day, but we knew he could be a handful. She took on his energy with gusto (and even managed to tire him out) but also was a great companion for our 2 year old collie. While we didn't need her to take care of the cats, she was more than pleasant around them and happy to meet them when we did a meeting the weekend before. Should I need any more puppy-sitting for the day, I'd be happy to have her back around my boys.”

“Annika was an excellent dog sitter! She was a great communicator and sent pics and videos of our pup while we were away. We would absolutely book Annika again without hesitation!”

“Sara was great as an in-home sitter. She was always responsive and provided updates on care. Sara gave the extra effort of exercising our dog daily despite the cold weather and snow. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her for care again!”

“Paige did great with Bobby, I saw she gave her time to play with him and give him love, so he does not feel lonely. I am thankful for the work she did and she did follow the instructions given too.”

“Becca was very sweet and attentive to our babies needs! She kept us updated with daily pictures and messages about how they were doing. Will definitely continue hiring her in the near future!”

“Bayley took great care of our big boy goldendoodle! She provided frequent updates while we were away and was extremely responsive. We will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“Jenna was very attentive with my dog and with taking in all of my instructions and notes about him. She sent me pictures and kept me updated throughout the day. Highly recommend as a sitter and will definitely book with her again should an opportunity come up again!”

About: I’ve been a pet owner the past 4 years. I’ve always had a love for animals and have been trusted to stick to a dogs schedule as far as feeding, walking, playing, etc. for many different breeds. I’ve been living in Cincinnati the past year and know lots of great parks. I work from home Monday- Friday 9-5. I also have full weekend availability so I will have plenty of time to care for your dog while I’m home I live in an apartment complex with a fenced in back yard and also a small dog park. Outside accessibility is no problem or if your dog prefers more time inside that is fine as well. Crates are welcome and pets are allowed on couch.
“Donovan was great with our two energetic pups! You can tell that he loves animals genuinely loves taking care of them. He communicated well and was able to book on short notice for a last second trip. Will definitely book with him again!”

“Lauren was great taking care of out young, energetic, and silly German Shorthaired Pointer. She showed up on time, followed instructions, asked questions when needed, and sent daily updates with photos. She also left the house organized and clean. We can tell our dog likes her too 🥰🐾🐕🦺”

About: My home is a relaxed, comfortable environment where dogs are welcome to be themselves. They can relax on the furniture, play with the many toys around the house, and if they’re used to it, they’re welcome to sleep in the bed too. I give every dog plenty of attention, affection, and playtime so they feel happy and secure while their owners are away. I am the former mom of a Golden Retriever who just recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge; I love dogs of all sizes and am not afraid of a big dog who sheds! What your dog’s stay looks like: • Lots of attention and companionship • Playtime with toys throughout the day • Relaxing on the couch or wherever they feel comfortable • Potty breaks and outdoor time whenever needed • A cozy bedtime routine just like home I also send regular photo and text updates so you can see how your dog is doing while you’re away. My goal is simple: every dog that stays with me should feel like they’re at camp! I have flexible mornings and evenings. I can do frequent short walks or long walks less frequently. My days can vary so it’s easier to know your specific needs to be able to see the ways I can help! I have owned both cats and dogs all of my life. My senior Golden Retriever just crossed the rainbow bridge, so having other pups come stay has been healing for my soul. I have always been a responsible pet owner. I am happy to follow any rules you may need to keep your dog’s routine as consistent as possible. Most dogs are on my furniture and given treats, but if you prefer no table food or furniture, I am happy to oblige. I will keep up to 6 dogs at a time, but only one new dog in these scenarios. The rest are long time regulars who I trust and trust me.
About: Things that set me apart from other sitters are I can give love, attention and stimulation to the animal. I have a German shepherd that needs lots of stimulation to keep him occupied! It could fit into my daily and weekly routine easily because I am a nanny and could easily stop what we are doing and go and let them out and give them lots of attention and cuddles. I currently have a year and a half year old German shepherd which comes with lots of attention and brain games for him. I also have a cat that is more laid back
Cherokee Seneca pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ava did an amazing job watching my baby! This was the first time in years that I’ve had someone new watch her, so I was definitely a little anxious leaving her. Ava was incredibly understanding about that and made the whole experience so much easier. She sent check-ins and updates that really helped me relax while I was away. Miss Bunny was clearly well cared for and happy when I got back. I’m so grateful for Ava’s kindness, communication, and attentiveness. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet!

Cassie was kind enough to fill in for a different dog-sitter who cancelled on us truly at the last minute. She was super fast to respond and extremely flexible when we kept having to adjust our plans. We could immediately tell she had great energy that our anxious chihuahuas warmed up to very quickly. Would definitely book Cassie again. Thank you for being such a lifesaver!!
Amber did a great job taking care of our two dogs and home. She sent pics and provided updates to reassure me throughout the week that all was going well. Dishes were washed, garbage taken out, bed sheets removed, fresh water for dogs, and our two dogs were happy and content upon our arrival back home. Thanks Amber! We really appreciate you!

Catherine was great with our pups! She saved us in a pinch and booked us last minute so we could make our concert! She was very tentative when we gave her instructions and had no issues bonding right to our 3 babies. If we are ever in Louisville again and need our pups watched, she will be our first call! Montana was fantastic! We were so nervous as we had never left our babies before. I wrote way too many notes and she read and followed them all and took amazing care of all of our puppies. They absolutely loved her and I couldn’t have been happier 🩷🩷 Thank you for taking such good care of our babies 🩷🐺🐾

Keely was amazing! She was incredibly communicative and so helpful! Our boy tore a nail while we were gone during Christmas and Keely let us know immediately and helped us coordinate and get him to the vet. It was seamless and we rested easy knowing our dog was good hands. We would be so happy to hire her again!
