“Vanessa is a great cat sitter! She gives my cats plenty or playtime and petting. She sent pictures of the cats to me everyday while I was on vacation with a report on how they were doing. Totally gave me peace of mind while I was away and allowed me to enjoy my vacation without worrying about my cats. :)”

About: I've been pet sitting in the Madison area during my entire time in undergrad and pharmacy school. My petting sitting experience has included dogs, cats, and birds. I am comfortable giving medication, both orally and injectable. I never shy away from those that need extra special medical attention and love. I've been fostering mostly dogs the last 6 years. While out in Montana for residency, I foster failed and moved back to Wisconsin with the sweetest lady, Sydney. Now that I am back in Madison and working part-time, I want to fill in my free time with walks, drop-ins, and occasional house-sitting (Sydney will stay home with my partner). My schedule is flexible. Always open to checking my calendar to see if your needed dates/time work! My work schedule varies at this time. I can be adaptable to the pet's routine. I can usually work around whatever the pet's needs are. I try my best to replicate the pet's normal routine as best as I can with the instructions given to me by the owner. Whatever is best for the pet.
“Katie was great with my dog. You can tell she really cares about my guy and appreciates his quirkiness! I will definitely have Katie watch him again. In fact, she is watching him again next weekend!”

“Leah did an amazing job for us both pet sitting and house sitting! She was an excellent communicator and flexible with us since we had an unanticipated home repair come up while we were away. Our dogs loved her, and she was a conscientious and considerate caretaker. I would not hesitate to hire Leah again.”

“Kim was a great pet sitter for our 2 dogs and cat! She was super communicative and responsible. We will definitely book with her again the next time we’re in need of a pet sitter.”

“Stephanie took excellent care of my diabetic dog who had some surprise additional restrictions after a tooth removal earlier that week. Additionally, she left my house spotless.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals all my life but have professionally done in the past 6 years! I love spending time around animals and I also stay hyper vigilant if there’s any issues going on! I am currently work remotely, so I'm looking for a way to get outside and make a new community of friends, and get some walk and play time in with a furry friend! Always more than happy to make time for your pet! I have a cat named Theo and he gets fed on a schedule three times a day, which seems to the perfect mix. I like to keep pets on a schedule and active so that they’re getting all the enrichment and care that they need! If there’s not a fenced in yard, I’m happy to go for a walk!
“Samantha was phenomenal! She provided great communication and provided good updates with my dog. She took amazing care of him. I had her housesitting for me and she was extremely respectful of my apartment as well. I would absolutely have Samantha help me out again!”

“Salem took fantastic care of our dog while we were gone. They sent us regular photos and updates and my dog looked like she was having a great time. Our house was in great shape, too!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. I love a gentle giant as much as a little yapper. I have three cats, a bearded dragon, and a ball python myself. Dog walks are therapy, and I'm happy to dose meds, clean ears, or spend extra time throwing the ball (or snuggling with a senior buddy). I currently have wide-open availability and very flexible hours. I have organized sports I play in on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, which I simply work around for nighttime/evening potty breaks. I cannot offer in-home sitting at this time. My cats would be too disturbed and unhappy to have another fur baby in their shared space.

“Scott was our first introduction to Rover. We really appreciated that he could come on short notice to sit with our 22-week old puppy. We loved Scott's relaxed and gentle way with our dog who is so excited to meet someone new, but is still in manners training in how to greet people. Scott quickly picked up on what we were trying to teach and went along with that routine. Scott arrived on the dot of our agreed time and we plan to ask him to come again!”

“Kaitlyn was great with the dogs right from the meet and greet. She handled their different personalities and medical needs perfectly. She did all that was asked and more. Thank you for allowing me the peace of mind to enjoy this week with friends!!”

“Annemarie was a WONDERFUL dog sitter for my pup! She was so attentive and kept me informed the entire time, and Laika absolutely adored her. I will definitely be rebooking!”

Cherokee Garden pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ollie was a great sitter and my boy had a great time with them. They met with us a week before my trip for a meet and greet and did a little test walk to ease my mind. Bonus points for them being friendly and responsive when I had to reach out. We will certainly be a repeat client!

Lauren and Nia came when I needed them the most! They did a wonderful job sitting our cats and sent us sweet videos/photos in their updates! Even our most timid cat enjoyed playtime while we were away and we could tell they took care to spend as much time as they could with the girlies. I would definitely recommend them as sitters!

This was our second time booking Julia, and she did a great job again! She handled both of our cats really well — our spicy one and our overly affectionate, sneezy one — and managed their very different personalities with no problem. It’s such a relief to know they’re in capable hands while we’re away. Highly recommend!
Sabrina is incredible. She stepped into a complex situation on zero notice — taking over care of a timid, recently rescued dog while also managing my home during a medical emergency. From the very first meeting, her calm energy and deep compassion for animals stood out. She was flexible, responsive, and completely trustworthy. I would highly recommend her.

Brea was amazing with my dog! I got daily updates and could tell my pup was happy and well cared for. It gave me total peace of mind while I was away. Highly recommend and will definitely book again! If you’re looking for someone who truly loves what they do and treats your pet like family, Brea is the one!
