“Holly and Robert took excellent care of my boy at doggy day care. They provided updates and have an obvious love and passion for caring for dogs. I appreciated their knowledge of dog behavior and understanding of when it is appropriate to intervene. Ziggy came home absolutely pooped, so I know he had a great day with them. I will absolutely be reaching out to them again for any future pup care needs!”

“J Sue is a little melancholy by nature but she loves the days she gets to spend at Sam’s. As we get close to Sam’s, Jessie’s enthusiasm goes from about 20% to 100% from the time we turn on the street to time we get to the front door. A day at Sam’s can lift Jessie’s mood for days.”

“Kim is WONDERFUL!! She is always accommodating and loving with my two fur babies “Finch” & “Cash.” They always know where they’re going when we drive towards her house lol Kim is always understanding and accommodating when I’m running later than usual to pick up my fur babies. I cannot appreciate her more! Finch & Cash always look happy and wiggly when I pick them up :)”

“Rita was great and super welcoming. My dog looked like he had a great day with her, she had other pups there so it was even better so he’d be with company. Her updates were great and she’s super flexible with her schedule. Overall was a great first experience with rover.”

“James has been awesome with foster George (AKA Houdini) who has been on the euthanasia list 3 times. . . and his next time will be his last. George is the sweetest dog ever but his escapism has been problematic. James has been his life saver while I am at work, and has provided George playmates and activity throughout the day. James is DEFINITELY worth considering if you need care for your dog. . . (Just don't steal George's spot. . . We need James.)”

“Hazel came home so happy after daycare. She loved Giddy and Jo Jo! She was welcomed as a 12 week old puppy into the pack and had plenty of play and attention from Corinne and her pups. Highly recommend Corinne if you need puppy care in those first few months!”

“When I had Adam & Indy watch my dogs for the second time, my dogs and Indy were so happy to see eachother again like they missed eachother and one of my dogs even jumped on the couch to sit next to Adam to say hi. Clearly they were well taken care of and have new great friends! Definitely recommend Adam!!”

“Would recommend Onrae as a sitter. Onyx came back happy. He was safe and taken care of. If you ever need a sitter I would recommend Onrae to care for your fur babies”

“Charles was extremely professional and responsible and he took EXCELLENT care of my lab, Tamale, with the help of his dog, Shiso. He sent regular pictures of their walks, the dogs playing together in the yard together, cuddling for naps, and having meals and snacks- it was obvious she was in good hands. Tamale had a wonderful time, was thoroughly exhausted and most importantly, she was VERY well cared for. I felt so fortunate to find such a warm, wonderful home in my neighborhood with a kind human and his family to look after my girl while I worked and my husband was out of town. She already misses her new friends. Thanks again, Charles! We will absolutely be booking again.”

About: I've been a pet caretaker for most of my 45 years, but I only put 25 in the years experience because those adult years of my life have been most dedicated to pet care. I am a serial adopter of rescue animals, so I'm well versed in pet conditions that need special care. I don't crate our animals and I love them all unconditionally. If you have a pet that needs special attention or even a modicum of training, I'd be happy to help you take care of them. I'm a military veteran and author working from home. I spend my entire day spoiling my pets (I have both cats and dogs, and they get along well enough). I walk the dogs daily, sometimes more than once. The dogs get brushed regularly and the cats get brushed if they make an appearance or we can catch them. As mentioned earlier, I do not crate our pets. I prefer to let them roam, but I occasionally do block off certain areas of the house to prevent naughty behavior. The pets are always rewarded for good behavior with snacks.

About: I've had a dog as part of my family for as long as I can remember. I would walk, feed, and clean up after them as I grew up. At the age of 16, I found my pup, Tessa, at the Animal Humane and got my first job just so I could have her (Yes, I paid for everything for her by myself). Since then I have had her by my side through finishing high school, finishing my undergrad, moving cities and states. When I was finishing my undergrad I decided to get another pup so my girl could have a sibling especially once I started working full time. I got my boy, Haka, at six weeks old and now he is 6yrs. Growing up I use to walk my neighbors pug multiple times a week. When in high school we had multiple dogs in the household that required extra care and attention due to their different personalities and temperaments. With my dog being bigger than the other dogs in my family I had to take measures to ensure all of them remained safe. This mainly involved having different play times and feeding them separately. For example: One of the dogs was very territorial over toys and would lash out at any other dog that came around, however, this pup was the smallest one so it was essential for me to mitigate the opportunity for a bad situation. This involved monitoring the situation at all times when the toy was out, keeping the dogs separated, or removing the toys altogether. I’m currently shifting to a new career field, so I am at home full time and plan to be throughout summer. I am a very active person with two of my own high energy pups that love to play at home or the dog park and loves walks/runs. I live in a townhome that has a relatively small yard and have a dog door that allows for anytime potty breaks. I have a tall back fence completely enclosing the yard. I live with a mile of two parks and the walking path on Tramway, and a few miles from trails or the dog park. The safety of mine and your pets is the main priority, so transparency is very important. All animals have different personalities, and stress of a new environment can change how they behave so it’s important that I know how they may react so I can put proper measures in place to keep everyone safe.

About: I have a lot of experience with dogs. Worked at animal humane for a couple of years. I Help my sister with her already established doggy daycare business currently. What's sets me apart from other sitters is I live in an apartment so I can only really watch one dog at a time. Or two dogs from same household. This is perfect for people who have dogs that either don't do well with other dogs, need extra attention, or maybe have medical issues and don't want to risk injury from other dogs knocking them down or what have you. I am also open for walks and possibly house sitting. My schedule is very flexible. I am a self employed glass artist currently. Spend a lot of time at home doing remote work for my art. I make my own schedule. So on the days I watch your pup I can spend a lot of time with it. I understand that people's pets are family. It's the same fore me. I take pet care very seriously. I will care for other people's pets as well as if they were my own. Tending to any required needs. I love spoiling the fur babies.

About: Living with all types of animals since I was born! One dog, two cats and two lizards in home! Three years in professional pet care, exotic care included! Aspiring vet! I currently work part time with flexible hours. Looking for a reason to switch to pet care full time! I’d love to take care of your animal and hour of the week! I like to spend time with animals in my care. Try to let me know your animal’s favorite activities! If you’re looking for a pet to be cared for in my home, I have a female husky, and two female cats, all spayed. If you have a cat or dog that doesn’t get along with the other half. We keep the cats upstairs and dogs downstairs. No need for interaction if your pet doesn’t prefer it!

“Kaila was great with our 4lb puppy! She took really good care of him and gave him the love and attention he desired. She went above and beyond with the puppy's potty training and food training. I can't thank her enough. Definitely recommend Kaila as a caregiver for your fur baby!”

“This is my first time using Rover and I am happy with the service. I met Emily W., she watch my 8 week puppy Wrigley. Emily was wonderful, she took care of Wrigley as if she was her own. I am grateful to Emily. Thank you!! I will most definitely book with Emily again.”

About: I have been an avid animal lover from a young age. We had everything from dogs to cats to rabbits and gerbils, and even snakes. I've taken care of puppies and old dogs, and everything in between. I enjoy all aspects of training, and have worked with nearly every breed of dog. My schedule is open so pet care is my primary focus! I have plenty of time to give cats and pups an abundance of pets and affection and play/exercise time. Just as our routine is important to us, I try to keep pets on the same schedule that they are used to with meal times, walk times, potty breaks, etc. Keeping pets happy and safe is vital, so I make sure to pay close attention to surroundings on walks and make sure pets don't have access to anything harmful in the home. I am currently getting my Master's with a flexible online program, and pet care fills my free time. When I'm not working or doing school, I enjoy traveling and playing sports. I like to keep things consistent and follow instructions to the tee in the home and on walks. Safety is an utmost priority and I stay aware of the environment at all times.

Joshua N.
“To whom it may concern, I’m writing in testimony of Josh working for your company. I’ve known Josh personally for just about 3 years now and in my experience he has been and extremely kind and caring person. Especially towards animals! We’ve asked him many times to check in on our animals while away and I am VERY picky about who I ask to enter my home and handle my animals. Seeing how careful and caring he is with his own animals he understands how special these creatures are to us. In summary I believe he would be a wonder addition to your team!”

“Jenny provides great care and is a pleasure to work with. We’ll be seeing her again this week with our dog Shiso. We’re very grateful for her service.”

Michael O.
“Loves animals and is a great caretaker for your pets. I trust him to watch mine when I'm away. When he was watching my cat while I was away for a couple of months, he noticed him going to the bathroom more than usual. Got him to the vet where he was diagnosed with diabetes. Michael didn't skip a beat. He switched his food per the vets instructions and gave him twice daily insulin shots until I returned. Because of his quick thinking, they caught it early and my cat was in remission within a couple of months.”

Antonio Q.
“Antonio is great with pets. He is caring and loving to all pets and is a very knowledgeable in different sorts of pets as well. With him working at PetSmart and growing up loving animals, he has learned a lot about their feeding, their habitats, their diets, and just the animals personalities in general. He has patience for any animal and I know your pet would absolutely love him. Antonio cares for animals with his whole heart, it’s his passion to care for animals and you can see it when he is around any type of animal that he truly cares. I know if you choose Antonio, you won’t want anyone else watching or taking care of your pet anymore.”
