These experiences have helped me build a strong understanding of different pet personalities and needs. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family—with love, attention, and respect. I’m currently a full time nursing student but I still have time to care for your loving pets. Whether that be in between classes or evenings I am fully devoted to making sure each pet gets the attention and consistency they deserve. I like to maintain their usual routine as closely as possible and any special instructions from their owner. I provide a clean, pet friendly environment where they can lead and I always supervise interactions if other animals are around. There is also a field where I stay, where the dogs can run around freely on.

About: I have fostered and homed over a dozen cats and dogs. Working with a wide range of special needs, this unique experience has lead me to better understand and serve your pets. My passion for care and community doesn’t stop with animals. I currently work in a social services position with Bernalillo County and occasionally pick up shifts at a small hospice facility near my home, where my pup Nana has been known to visit. Working swing shift (4 p.m.–12 a.m.) gives me plenty of daytime availability for early morning walks, drop-ins, or pickups. I also have all-day availability on Fridays and Saturdays for overnight guests and pups who need more dedicated attention. I never book more than one new Rover client at a time to ensure your animals comfort and safety. It's important to know if your pet is dog/cat friendly so I can schedule vetted rovers accordingly. All animals will be accompanied while outdoors and kept on leash when off the property.

Spencer was AWESOME. My 17 mo golden had so much fun with him and the other doggos; he was exhausted in the evenings (which was the goal). I was in town working during the day, and it was so nice to be able to have him with me in the evenings, knowing he had adventure during the day! Spencer was communicative, excited to see Ollie, welcoming…all the things you hope for when looking for a sitter. Definitely will book again when in ABQ!
Wendy was great. She was really good with Farley even when he was nervous about staying at her house and took extra steps to make sure he ate. She sent updates and photos which is always nice. She was also patient and flexible with our schedule changes. I would definitely book with Wendy again.
Our 9-month old, rescue loved Ava immediately! You could tell from their initial interactions that Ava knew what she was doing, had excellent feedback and knowledge about raising shelter dogs. We felt extremely comfortable leaving our pup in her capable hands. Ava sent us pics and updates throughout her first day of Daycare and when we picked her up, Nova was happy, well-behaved and tired 🐕
Rodeo had such a great time at Joshua's -- he has a great space and Rodeo had a blast playing with his dogs and other dogs in his care. He sent us updates throughout the day and was very responsive.
