“Charles was extremely professional and responsible and he took EXCELLENT care of my lab, Tamale, with the help of his dog, Shiso. He sent regular pictures of their walks, the dogs playing together in the yard together, cuddling for naps, and having meals and snacks- it was obvious she was in good hands. Tamale had a wonderful time, was thoroughly exhausted and most importantly, she was VERY well cared for. I felt so fortunate to find such a warm, wonderful home in my neighborhood with a kind human and his family to look after my girl while I worked and my husband was out of town. “I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! They love going to Elaine's house! Our next booking is during the Christmas-New Year's Eve time frame, and my dogs are already so excited, and Elaine has let me know that so is she, and she's gearing her doggies up for a week-long visit :-) My neighbors/friends that used to keep them all the time are moving back to NJ, so this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs at Elaine's, whether it's for a day or a week! This is the best thing EVER!!!!”

About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

About: Me and my husband got our rescue dog in 2021. We were able to make him adapt our lifestyle and trust us and helped him with anxiety issues from separations and some random environmental triggers. Our dog is sweet and gentle, we were able to train him for 10+ tricks and be gentle to small and or young creatures. I also volunteer at Animal humane NM to help dogs getting comfortable with human interactions and building confidence I have a full time work at bank so not many week days are open at the moment. We work our dog twice a day and we have a big dog park and field that might fit for different dog needs. We have a back yard so dogs can play there as well Our house is on a quiet street with back yard fenced. Super nice area with big dog park and fields. I LOVE ALL DOGS, and all of them will get more than enough attention from me
