About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

About: Me and my husband got our rescue dog in 2021. We were able to make him adapt our lifestyle and trust us and helped him with anxiety issues from separations and some random environmental triggers. Our dog is sweet and gentle, we were able to train him for 10+ tricks and be gentle to small and or young creatures. I also volunteer at Animal humane NM to help dogs getting comfortable with human interactions and building confidence I work hybrid so not every week days are wfh at the moment. We walk our dog twice a day and we have a big dog park and field that might fit for different dog needs. We have a back yard so dogs can play there as well Our house is on a quiet street with back yard fenced. Super nice area with big dog park and fields. I LOVE ALL DOGS, and all of them will get more than enough attention from me

If you are in need of drop-in visits, my fiance does come along for meet and greets and occasional visits as well. I’m very active and happy to keep up with dogs who enjoy walks and play, but I’m equally content spending time with pups who prefer a slower pace, backyard lounging, or snuggles on the couch. I can easily adapt my routine to match your dog’s normal schedule so their time away from home feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I have a secure yard with a separate fenced dog run, giving pups a safe space for outdoor time, play, and fresh air. Inside, my home is relaxed and pet-friendly and dogs are welcome on the couch and furniture and are treated like part of the household. I also have two small rescue dogs of my own. I understand that not every dog wants or needs to socialize, so I can keep pets comfortably separated when needed or allow supervised introductions and playtime for dogs who enjoy making new friends. I’m happy to provide a comfortable crate or create a separate, personalized space based on your dog’s routine and preferences. I always recommend bringing a favorite bed, blanket, or other familiar item from home to help your pup settle in and feel secure while you’re away. My goal is to follow your dog’s normal routines as closely as possible and provide an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

About: I’ve owned three dogs throughout my life. Being able to care for your pets bring me so much joy! Family and friends always have me look after their pets when they go on vacation! I go on a daily walk so watching pets fits perfectly into this schedule. I’m also self employed so I’ll Have more than enough time to keep pets company I follow the schedule given to me as well as trying to spend extra time and give extra love to your pets. “I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! They love going to Elaine's house! Our next booking is during the Christmas-New Year's Eve time frame, and my dogs are already so excited, and Elaine has let me know that so is she, and she's gearing her doggies up for a week-long visit :-) My neighbors/friends that used to keep them all the time are moving back to NJ, so this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs at Elaine's, whether it's for a day or a week! This is the best thing EVER!!!!”
