About: I have had dogs all my life and absolutely have a soft spot for senior dogs. Currently I have 2 dogs. A Senior Golden Retriever named Skye and a 9 month old Hound-Lab mix named Sonny. Since Sonny is a puppy he pulls on a leash and jumps, I have experience with dogs that have these characteristics. The Dog breeds that I have the most experience with are French Bulldogs and Golden Retrievers. I prefer to work with medium/small dog breeds, however, I am open to working with bigger dog breeds as well. I am a full-time student at East Carolina University in North Carolina studying elementary education. I am residing in New Jersey from May 9th- August 10th. My schedule varies throughout the week. However my schedule is flexible and I am able to work with you on times and schedules that fits you and your pets needs. DATES NOT AVALIBLE: I will not be available from May 24th- 29th or through June 6th-13th. All other dates I am available unless changed. I am used to crated dogs and non- crated dogs. I am very experienced in following directions and rules as needed. I also am used to walking dogs every morning and evening if needed. I do ask that there is a list of all animals and how much they eat, what times they are fed, and any special precautions (medicine, eating in separate rooms, different foods, etc.) that are needed for each pet. Lots of playing and petting is to be expected.

About: I have owned my own pet sitting business since I was 10 years old. I have lots of experience with all types of animals, specifically cats and dogs! About: Good Morning! I am Janiya and I’m excited to introduce myself! As an animal science college student on the verge of graduation, my journey with dogs began at a young age. I have been caring for my own dogs since I was just 10 years old, which has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior and needs. My academic background in animal science has equipped me with a solid foundation in animal care, health, and behavior. Through my coursework, I have gained insights into various aspects of veterinary medicine, nutrition, and training techniques. This knowledge allows me to provide not only basic care but also specialized attention tailored to each dog's unique requirements. In addition to my studies, I actively engage in clinical hours at a local veterinary clinic under the guidance of a certified veterinarian and vet tech. This hands on experience is invaluable. It has allowed me to observe and participate in real-world scenarios involving pet health care. From administering medications to understanding common health issues, this practical exposure enhances my ability to recognize signs of distress or illness in dogs while I am sitting or walking them. I’m currently doing clinical hours voluntarily and not a set schedule so I’m available currently Monday-Friday anytime and will update my hours if need be due to obtaining a set schedule for clinical hours. I believe establishing a consistent daily routine is crucial for both dogs. This includes regular feeding times, exercise, and bathroom breaks. For my husky, who is energetic and playful, I ensure she gets at least an hour of vigorous exercise each day. This includes walks, runs, or playtime in the yard. My cockapoo also enjoys playtime but requires slightly less intense activity due to his smaller size and older age. I ensure that my home environment is safe for both dogs by removing hazardous items such as toxic plants or small objects they could swallow inside and outside. Additionally, I use baby gates if necessary to restrict access to certain areas of the house where they might get into trouble. I have learned by following these steps consistently in caring for my husky and cockapoo at home, and applying similar principles when caring for clients' pets, I’ll create a nurturing environment that supports their health and happiness.

Rich F.
“Richie has been an animal lover since I've known him going back to school years. I'd watch him in the backyard bringing in birds that fell out of their nests and nursing them back to health. He had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi that had epilepsy and he helps his father give him his medicine and take him to the vet whenever requested when he wasn't playing frisbee with the cute Corey. And I remember he had one chat for many years that follows him everywhere and in her old age she got hit by it a car and he was depressed for years I can't think of anybody else that would truly put an animal before their own life but my dog used to come over and before he even knew Richie he would just sit right on his lap and he doesn't have a problem getting his hands dirty for the sake of making an animal happy or comfortable. To my recollection here also would take in garden snakes and baby mice not simultaneously. Everything from a cat dog to a gerbil. He's a skinny well exercised young man who'd be perfect for some who needs help with their pet.”

Don-Paul A.
“Don is a fantastic caregiver for both cats and dogs! With his extensive experience at Penn Vet and BluePearl Pet Hospital, he has a deep understanding of animal care and behavior. He’s compassionate, patient, and dedicated, always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved—even in stressful situations. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, or expert attention, Don is someone you can trust. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

Amy R.
“I have known Amy over ten years, and have trusted her to watch my two cats while out of town. My kitties are people shy, but have warmed to Amy. She has been a wonderful pet mama to her own pets, and has an obvious special place in her heart for dogs and kitties alike! Amy is very loyal, reliable, and responsible, and is as playful as she is nurturing. Your furry family member will love spending time with her.”

Hannah S.
“Hannah Symanski is one of the best people I've seen that has worked with animals. With a caring heart and sometimes a healing hand, I have personally seen some animals be saved due to her selfless acts. You will not go wrong with choosing her for your fur babies needs.”

Jess & Tia L.
“Jess offers unconditional love and support for all pets she cares for. She emotionally connects with animals, understanding their different needs to help them live their best lives. In her work as a certified wellness practitioner, Jess promotes animal wellness by healing the mind, body, and soul. Animals always feel respected and loved because of her dedication to attending to their daily living needs. As a lifetime pet owner, she always knows when to feed them, give them water, let them play, give them bathroom breaks, take them for walks, and make sure they sleep well. She encourages pet socialization so they are happy and healthy. The pet community is a better place because of Jess.”

Megan M.
“Megan is the greatest pet sitter I have ever had. Not only were my cats extremely well taken care of when I returned from vacation, but my dog was looking as healthy as ever, too. My cats’ litter box was freshly cleaned when I came back and I could tell my cats had been thoroughly brushed. Not to mention, Megan updated me every time she let out the dog and fed/gave him water! She was consistent with walking him everyday and sticking to his strict food schedule I normally maintain for him. After having such an amazing experience with Megan the first time I hired her, I have since hired her several more times- she’s my go to pet sitter for when I need it!!”
