About: I grew up with dogs from the age of 10. I am often called the pet whisperer by family and friends because their pets often do things they don't normally do with people they don't know well. I have a very flexible schedule and will be able to accommodate the needs of the pets to walk and feed take care of them from daily to weekly where needed. At this time I do not have any yard space or ability to have pets stay with me at my house. I am willing to stay at the pet owners home if needed or stop by for their care needs.

I ensure that my home environment is safe for both dogs by removing hazardous items such as toxic plants or small objects they could swallow inside and outside. Additionally, I use baby gates if necessary to restrict access to certain areas of the house where they might get into trouble. I have learned by following these steps consistently in caring for my husky and cockapoo at home, and applying similar principles when caring for clients' pets, I’ll create a nurturing environment that supports their health and happiness.

About: I have taken care of animals all my life. I grew up with small pocket pets (rabbits) and birds. As an adult I have dogs, cats, chickens, horses, and alpacas - all of which live with me on my small farm. I have experience with giant breed dogs and higher energy dogs. I also know how and am comfortable giving medications. I have worked in the animal industry for the last 10 years. Ranging from boarding facilities for dogs and cats to veterinary offices. “Tom's place is awesome!! I work at the nearby military instillation and I was using Tom's daycare services. He was open to a meet and greet the day before I was supposed to drop off my pet which was from 7am-5pm, and he met Ollie and then showed us around a bit which made me feel much better knowing my dog was going to be kept in such clean and organized conditions. You can clearly tell how well Tom takes care of his own dogs. Everyday I used his service I could tell my dog had a great time and got to experience what walking in a pack was like. He came home exhausted each day and Tom sent great pictures and videos which made me feel better. As Tom states in his bio, if your dog is crate trained, good with other dogs and has a daily routine this is the place for you! Your dogs will love their experience at Tom's Place!”

Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a securely fenced yard and one friendly, fully vaccinated resident dog. I will introduce dogs slowly and always prioritize a calm, low-stress environment. If separation of the two dogs is important to you, I can also accommodate that request. I also have three children (ages 16, 10, and 4), who are in school for most of the day. While I'm working from home, visiting dogs stay with me in my home office so they're never without supervision. I have been caring for my own dogs since I was just 10 years old, which has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior and needs. My academic background in animal science has equipped me with a solid foundation in animal care, health, and behavior. Through my coursework, I have gained insights into various aspects of veterinary medicine, nutrition, and training techniques. This knowledge allows me to provide not only basic care but also specialized attention tailored to each dog's unique requirements. In addition to my studies, I actively engage in clinical hours at a local veterinary clinic under the guidance of a certified veterinarian and vet tech. This hands on experience is invaluable. It has allowed me to observe and participate in real-world scenarios involving pet health care. From administering medications to understanding common health issues, this practical exposure enhances my ability to recognize signs of distress or illness in dogs while I am sitting or walking them. I’m currently working during the week so I’m available currently on the weekends anytime and will update my hours if need be due to obtaining a set schedule for clinical hours. I believe establishing a consistent daily routine is crucial for both dogs. This includes regular feeding times, exercise, and bathroom breaks. For my husky, who is energetic and playful, I ensure she gets at least an hour of vigorous exercise each day. This includes walks, runs, or playtime in the yard. My cockapoo also enjoys playtime but requires slightly less intense activity due to his smaller size and older age. I ensure that my home environment is safe for both dogs by removing hazardous items such as toxic plants or small objects they could swallow inside and outside. Additionally, I use baby gates if necessary to restrict access to certain areas of the house where they might get into trouble. I have learned by following these steps consistently in caring for my husky and cockapoo at home, and applying similar principles when caring for clients' pets, I’ll create a nurturing environment that supports their health and happiness.

About: First there were up to five rescues who became my lifetime companions. Then we added two beautiful horses. We walked to and through parks, to the reservoir, up hills across streams, and at the marina. Oftentimes we shared the road with grazing cattle and communed with ducks and geese. We moved with the horses where we gave care and love to the horses and even shared property with llamas for a while. "Peachie" the cat has helped to strengthen my feline muscles through love and understanding his understated gifts as compared to the dogs. I am through, loving, caring, and pay attention to detail. I know how to meet each companion where he or she is; and I possess excellent communication skills. Animals and children love me and I them!

About: I have extensive knowledge when it comes to caring for pets of all different types. From growing up with cats and dogs, to saving injured birds, I have seen a lot and done a lot for the betterment of all animals. I will treat every animal as if they were my own. I am currently a stay at home mom and have plenty of time to spend with any fur baby that comes my way. The fenced in yard will be an amazing place for any pups to run around in and I do enjoy walking so having a companion would always be welcomed. My yard is over 8,000 square feet, fenced in, and I have a little pup now that would enjoy extra company. I have plenty of space indoors in case of any crating needs.
