13. Madison S.
“New to Rover, Madi was my first dog sitter for two Cattle Dogs who are a very unique pair. It was their first time being dog sat by a stranger. Being Cattle Dogs, they are very loyal to their pack and are very cautious about outsiders until they decide to accept them, whenever that may be, and show them their fun side, so there were challenges for a new dog sitter to overcome like being ignored, being stared at knowing that the dogs are thinking, “Why are you here?”, not listening, hiding, just looking at the ball being thrown by someone they don’t know instead of running after it, so that person will have to go get it, etc. When Madi arrived, she immediately assessed the situation and while she was listening to my spiel, she observed the dogs and asked me questions about their personalities, habits, what they liked, and their routine. She asked very specific and excellent questions that I didn’t even think about. I was very impressed with Madi’s gentleness and effort to connect with my unique two on their level and in their timeframe. I found her to be very insightful and knowledgeable about caring for my dogs and making them feel comfortable and at ease. With Madi’s bubbly personality and eagerness to learn everything about my animals coupled with her willingness and goal to make the visit successful, I was confident that she understood my dogs and she would be a good fit for them and for me knowing I will be leaving my dogs in good hands. Madi did not disappoint. I felt she did an excellent job getting to know my two. She was engaging, eager to take walks, and went above and beyond to try to make my dogs feel comfortable. I will definitely be one of Madi’s repeat customers.”
14. Emma F.
“Emma was amazing! We absolutely adored her. She sent photos of our dogs to us while we were away, and our dogs are typically very high anxiety when we leave. When we come home from vacations, they're usually incredibly stressed... but our dogs were very relaxed! We usually brace for one of our dogs to stop eating when we leave out of stress, but he had no problems. We DEFINITELY recommend Emma, she clearly really cares for dogs and we could tell our boys were really happy with her.”
15. Joe C.
“I have known Joe for five years now. He is a dependable, reliable, and attentive person. He is also very compassionate and caring when it comes to animals. He has taken care of my dogs, cat, and reptiles for me. He helped me out in every capacity from simple walks to house sitting for me while I had a serious medical condition and was hospitalized for a couple of weeks. At the time that he was staying at my house, he also kept the house very organized and clean, he made sure all the pets were well fed, warm, safe, and entertained. He even helped me out with some yard work while I was away, took out the trash, got the mail, and other odd jobs that needed attention. At the time he watched my dogs, one of the dogs I had was very property protective, crate aggressive, and had some other triggers. He took the time to get to know my special needs dog before he watched him, so that the dog was comfortable with him. It was truly peace of mind while I was away healing. I highly recommend Joe to be entrusted with anyones fur baby or home.”
16. Crystal C.
“Crystal was terrific. Plainly put in a lot of care for my pup Tucker, taking him on long walks and even a morning jog. Picture updates throughout the stay were terrific and made me feel like Tucker was in good hands. Crystal even tidied up my place a bit, leaving it cleaner than she found it. Finally, really appreciate Crystal's flexibility - made the request on ~36 hours notice. Not only did Crystal take on the assignment but she also arranged a meet-and-greet beforehand too to make sure I was comfortable and that she / Tucker were a click. Appreciate her care and professionalism, and would recommend.”
17. Tyler G.
“Tyler is an awesome guy!! He loves and nurtured our dog like it is his own. Anytime we need him he is there for Ruffus. Even if it just for a walk or for him to watch him. He is always available for us. Such a great person.”
