“La Tasha was amazing with my dog Teddy!! This is her second time with him and he isn't the friendliest dog to work with but she's always patient and kind to him. Also, she's able to work with my last minute bookings and I REALLY appreciate that. Thanks again!!!”

“Anika was absolutely amazing. The care and concern provided for my baby was out of this world. Mocha thoroughly enjoyed being spoiled and having a ball with everyone in the home. I was really appreciative of Anika's consistent communication and check ins. The photos and videos were the highlight of my day while I was away. I don't trust my baby with many, but my heart was completely at ease while she was in Anika's care. Ever grateful. We will definitely use her services in the future. Thank you 💕”

“Diezel is worn out from another fantastic time with his buddies at Lily’s house! Diezel says she has the best sleepover's! ☺️😉 Lily, hubby, and the pups are such great hosts and Diezel gets so excited when he sees their house. So thankful for such great Rover hosts.”

“Cici and Nick were great with my high maintenance and anxious senior dog. They provided frequent updates and pictures and I truly appreciated the requirement of a meet and greet in public prior to being able to book. These are good people who love their animals and those they take care of.”

“Wonderful experience having Denise dog sit! This is Lina’s second time staying with Denise, she kept us updated with pictures and text. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Provided daily feedback with photos on my dog’s status first time using Rover so was a new experience for both myself and Kaino . Felt comfortable Kaino was being taken care with ❤️ Awesome family!!”

“Nikki is absolutely amazing. My dog is very nervous around people, she did not rush him. Initially, I reached out to have her handle some dinners a couple of times a year but then I had an unexpected death in the family that required me to go out of town for seven days. She was wonderful working around my schedule. We received multiple updates showing how happy he is hanging with her family and dogs. This meant the world to us knowing he was is such good hands.”

“Kelly was amazing!! Very communicative and provided updates. Definitely will use her services again the future. Captain seemed to have a great weekend with the other doggos and cats.”

“My pup always has a great time. I never have to worry because I know he’s well taken care of and he loves it there. We have had 3 visits so far and look forward to our next one.”

“This was our first time boarding our dog. We appreciated Megan's personality and her warm family. Diesel seemed super happy in every photo. We will definitely be using her again.”

“My family and I travel separately because we had not found the right sitter for our babies. We will never look any further, because Lindsey and her family treated my babies as if they were theirs. How do I know? They were full of smiles each time she sent us a picture of them, while we were away. We are now planning trips for the future, because Devin & Louie have another place to call home when we are away. Thank you so much. We look forward to future visits!”

“We left our two dogs with Gio and Vanessa for 5 days and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Gio sent daily video updates during walks to let us know how things were going and it was obvious how much he enjoyed having them around. Not to mention they were willing to work with us on extremely short notice immediately after returning from their own family vacation. We’re very grateful and won’t hesitate to book again next time we need a sitter.”
“Cameron was great with our dog! She was able to accommodate us with short notice and attend to the special needs of our pup. Our dog had lots of play and attention. We would definitely recommend!”

“ALL THE STARS!! 100% This is the 2nd time Lori has watched our rescue dog, Luna Lovegood (LuLu), only this time it was 12 days, not 4. Luna has always been timid and didn’t know how to play. Lori has a very gentle and kind dog CoCo (or was pet sitting CoCo also), and by the end of the trip they were playing everyday — Lori sent videos and I couldn’t believe my eyes!!! I may have teared up a bit!! Lori sent out countless photos and videos. She also never put Luna in her room (kennel) and Luna was allowed to sleep on her bed, CoCo’s bed, the couch, etc. Please believe this is a VERY pet friendly home, absolutely wonderful with great energy. Luna hesitated to go in on this 2nd time, but the second she saw/realized it was Lori, she was wagging her tail and VERY happy — she didn’t even say goodbye to us!! That says so much to me!! Again, Lori sent to many videos showing my Luna coming out of her shell and reassuring us that she was okay, which I always need and love!! To know your pet is okay while you’re so far away is a blessing and makes vacation SO MUCH MORE RELAXING! I didn’t have to worry about LuLu, but in the end, I worried she wouldn’t want us back!! Hahahaha!! This is so much better than putting your dog in a kennel. I 100% recommend Lori, she works with your needs, your pets needs, she is 100% involved in communication and updates. She is very easygoing and goes with the flow, if you need something, she will do it! I will NEVER schedule another vacation, until I know Lori is free to watch our beloved Luna. I 100% recommend. SO SO SO much better than any Kennel or doggy daycare. Lori provides love and kindness and understanding and all our doggies need that. Thank you Lori and Rover!!!!”

“Connie was able to accommodate a last minute booking request. She took excellent care of my pups and sent many pics during their stay. I could tell they were happy and well taken care of! I will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Liz always takes wonderful care of our dog. She provides plenty of updates and is confident in providing the care our dog needs. I’ve never worried about how our dog is when she’s with Liz.”

“This was our first Rover experience and Lynette & Vincent were great! We received updates throughout each day, and our pup got lots and lots of love! Thank you for taking such good care of her. We’ll definitely book with them again.”

Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
