We had a family trip in Ohio we couldn’t miss and Elizabeth watched our new/rescue 11 month old American Bully Huey! Elizabeth was wonderful from the time we met and even when I dropped him off crying my eyes out with anxiety! She sent photo updates constantly, they treated him as if he was their own, giving him all the love and attention!! He got to play with their two pups, kids, and enjoy there wonderful fenced in backyard! They walked him and even spoiled him with a car ride to get a pup cup! Huey pretty much was on his own fun filled vacation! Elizabeth even went as far as to drop him off at our house and safely crate him the night we flew in, so he could be home when we got home. This was wonderful! She even offered to take our other dog out for a potty break when she came over to drop Huey off. She is absolutely wonderful, I have nothing but the most amazing things about her and her family! I truly can not thank you enough!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! About: I’ve been a pet mom for 26 years, and animals have been part of my life since I was a kid. I raised Remi from 8 weeks old, so I’ve been through the puppy stage, training, the teenage years and all the fun that comes with raising a dog. My previous dog lived to 10½ before we lost him to cancer, so I’ve also experienced caring for a dog through his senior years, including giving him allergy shots via syringe. I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, personalities and energy levels, and I understand that every pet has their own routine and quirks. I’m especially good with pets who need a little patience and attention to feel comfortable with someone new. I’m happy to follow their normal routines, whether that means a long walk and lots of playtime or a slower pace with an older dog. And yes, I’m perfectly happy to spend part of a visit sitting on the floor giving belly rubs. I also have a soft spot for cats and would love to do drop-in visits for them. I’ve had cats throughout my life, so I understand that with cats, sometimes the best care is knowing when they want attention...and when they would prefer you pretend you don't exist. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and pet sitting at my home is easy to accommodate. I can work around your pet’s routine and am available for walks, drop-ins and sitting. Pets staying with me will have plenty of company throughout the day rather than being left alone for hours. For stays in my home, your dog would need to be comfortable around my dog, Remi. I’m also happy to care for pets in their own home when that’s a better fit. I’m a little obsessed with making sure doors, gates and anything else a pet could get through are properly secured — if I do it at my own house, I’ll do the same at yours. I’ll follow your instructions and your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, medications and any special needs. I’m also careful about leashes, introductions and anything else that helps keep your pet safe and comfortable. And of course, I’m happy to send photos and updates so you know how things are going while you’re away.
