“Sharon was very responsive. It was easy to communicate with her via phone, email, & text. She kept me well updated on how my pup was doing. She had a box of dog toys & my puppy found them & started playing right away. Her yard is not fenced however, she had a tether line that allowed my pup to explore most of the yard. Sharon also entertained my pup with our own favorite toys from home such as bubble & puzzles. This was my 1st time to try this service & to leave my 5 month old puppy & I was nervous at first but, Sharon's calming patient personality put me & my pup at ease. My puppy was happy to see me but didn't seem to have missed me much. I would use her for puppy sitting again if I ever had the need. Thank you Sharon for such a nice experience.”

About: I have helped families take care of their pets (and kids!) for over 20 years! I just moved to Westerly with my husband, rescue pup, and sweet senior cat and we just had our first child. I enjoy helping families with their fur babies as I settle into being a stay at home mom! Because regular exercise and sunbathing help dogs feel bright and their mind and body function smoothly. About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adopted a Golden Retriever from the South before I married and then adopted another dog (Springer/Brittany mix) from the shelter once I was married. He was the best $25 I ever spent!! He was like my best friend! Then we rescued a German Short Haired Pointer- what a love ! Those boys were very active and required daily runs! I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. I know what it’s like to need someone you can trust. My pets are like my children! I am obsessed with their well being. I want them to be happy, safe, well fed, exercised and loved all the time!!! I promise to take the best care of your pet and give them all the love they need when you can’t be home. I am very dependable, patient and trustworthy. I was a preschool special education teacher in Providence for 16 years before I became a stay at home mom. My kids are teens now, so have some time to devote to pet care. I'm currently a stay at home mom and I help my parents out as well. I have plenty of time to pop in for walks, bathroom breaks, feeding, playing and giving lots of LOVE to your pet! I will follow your directions "down to a T." I will give your pets lots of love and keep them safe while you are away! I am super trustworthy, dependable, kind and patient.

About: I’ve been caring for and walking dogs in my neighborhood for many years and have always loved being around animals. I’ve had two dogs of my own over the years, so I understand how important it is to give pets plenty of attention, care, and love. Dogs are definitely my favorite animals, and I truly enjoy spending time with furry friends! I’m currently working part time as a server. I am available all day sunday and mondays and all mornings and most nights. I’m very flexible! I have a very nice neighborhood and a friendly dog who loves other puppies. and a very friendly kitty that stays out of the way when needed.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and have taken care of friends and neighbors pets for many years. I am currently UVM nursing alum with lots of free time on my hands this summer to walk, feed, play with, and let out pets. My availability should be accurate, but sometimes changes.
