About: I am a current 2nd year veterinary student at the UGA college of veterinary medicine. I have been volunteering at a veterinary hospital since I was in fifth grade and have experience with all different types of animals. I am a lover of all animals and have two dogs, Zoey and Harley. I started training Zoey(a standard poodle) as soon as I got her and her tricks were broadcasted on the local news station a few times. I am stay at home mom and have a dog called Rhody. The most important thing for me when it comes to caring for a dog is to be trusted by the dog, and to make it feel secure where it stays. I always try to communicate through the eye contact with them or their gestures. And I make a schedule so that I can take a walk in the sun for about an hour a day in addition to their bathroom time. Because regular exercise and sunbathing help dogs feel bright and their mind and body function smoothly. Clients can customize schedules for their dogs to me, and I won't deviate from his routine as much as possible. I always fill your dog with leashes and go for a walk, but if they meet me several times and have a solid relationship, I also take them to the dog park. If they need to release their energy. About: I am an animal lover. I have watched other’s pets for long and short periods of time (6 months). From puppy to elder dog. To healthy to needing medications. Your dog, when with me, is the most important person in the world to me. I don’t text or talk on the phone when with your pet. All my attention is focused on your loved ones safety I work part time from home. Very flexible hours You name the time of day or night and I can be there. I am looking for 3-4 regular clients. I cannot have a pet overnight. It’s not allowed where I live. I can watch your pet at your pets home, which I think makes them feel more comfortable. I normally just sleep on the couch with the dogs. When they are with me, they are as loved as they are my own. It’s very hard for me to say goodbye so it’s often when I am with a doggy for 45 min and I am only booked for 30 min. About: I was born in a household where I was surrounded by dogs. I have had 5 rescue dogs throughout my life. I started dog walking when I was ten years old, and have been dog walking/ dog sitting ever since. I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. I’m based in Wakefield, Rhode Island, where I also run my own cleaning business, so I know how to keep things tidy and tail-wagging happy. I’ve worked in a doggy daycare and grooming shop, have volunteered with horses, and have experience with everything from puppies and senior pets to special needs animals and even reptiles. I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether I’m house sitting, walking your pup, or dropping in to check on your pets, I bring love, patience, and a calm, grounded energy. I’m gentle but firm, the worst your pup might ever hear from me is my “big girl voice” (loving, but clear). My job is to keep your pet healthy, happy and safe. I’m also great at reading animal behavior, administering meds, and handling routines with care.
