“Amanda showed up 5 minutes early which I really appreciated. She was personal yet professional. Zoey can be a challenge to walk because of her puppiness, but she came back exercised and ready to nap. I would definitely recommend Amanda!”

About: I’ve currently been taking care of my own dog for the past 3 years. In addition, I’ve been dog sitting for neighbors, friends, and family relatives over the years. End of August I will only be able to do weekends and evenings during the week! So please check my availability! It can change and more days can open up! I will care for your animals as if they were my own, I can take them on leashed walks, let them play in your fenced in yard while supervised, or even let them play in the house. I can follow any supervised directions to give proper care to your pups.

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. To me they aren't just pets, but an extension of family. I am willing to help in your home with check - ins, walking and feeding. I am available to help with all pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, pocket pets, birds, reptiles, amphibians, & fish). My hours of availability are 8 am - 12 am Sun - Sat most weeks for care in your home and / or walking / check in services. I'm a homemaker and pet care is a top priority for me now, as my children are grown. My schedule is pretty open unless I have previously scheduled appointments. I prefer 48 hours or more notice for bookings. Must have a meet & greet to go over your pet care needs and how to access your home. While at your home, I will care for your pet(s) as we have discussed during the meet & greet. I will get to know your pet(s) personally while spending time with them and care for them as if they are my own. Special needs & administering medicine are not a problem. I enjoy walking leash trained dogs, playing with them and cuddles as well as head boops & cuddles with cats too. I am comfortable with the care of most common household pets, including feeding, cleaning, and routine care.

“Lorie has been a wonderful dog walker for my girl, Scarlett. She has been super reliable no matter what the weather. Last week she walked Scarlett on a day when it had rained hard all day long. I’m sure she was soaked but never complains. This week she had Scarlett out in the snow! I really appreciate her reliability as I work 10 hour shifts. Thank you Lorie!!”

About: I have had a cat for 5 years and spent 3 years with my parents dogs. I understand the schedule that our furry friends need to maintain a healthy happy life. Monday to Thursday I'm available anytime to keep your animals entertained, safe, and cared for. When caring for clients pets I'm sure to follow their daily routine. I make sure to treat each pet with the love and respect they deserve. I will understand and respect that each pet has different needs and tailor my services to them.

About: I’ve been a life time animal lover! I grew up with two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Westie. I currently live on a 300 acre farm with 9 cats. We have a guest house where I will board your pet, so no need to worry about any interaction with my current pets. I can offer a relaxing atmosphere and all day care on weekends along with morning and afternoon care on week days. I can also board or do drop-in visits for fish, hamsters, or horses. Your dog will love a relaxing mountain retreat! Your cat can enjoy a quiet vacation! I work full time as a teacher. I can board your pet all weekends or in the afternoons. I can take crate trained dogs anytime during the week but could only provide potty breaks every 6-8 hours. I am available for dog walks or drop-in visits any day in the afternoon or evening in the Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and Hagerstown areas. Your pet would live only with me in a private guest house. We have 300 acres to go for walks or chase balls! My husband and 9 cats live in the main house. Our cats don’t mind other animals but I can keep your pet away from the cats if you prefer. As a 15 year high school teacher, I am very trustworthy, authentic, and kind. I admit to being a bit of a “crazy animal person” as I try to pet every animal I see! I can be trusted with your animal for an extended time or just an afternoon walk! I can also board hamsters or horses.

About: Dogs, cats, bird, lizards and fish have all been apart of my family at different stages of my life. I have had dogs from young pups to seniors. About: Hello! My name is Maria. I currently work in food service but I would love a little change by helping people and their animals! I am very attentive, caring and loyal. I enjoy the company of animals, all shapes and sizes. I have experiences with cats and dogs! I’m available anytime during the week and weekends. Nevertheless, this is a job I would take seriously as if the pets were my own. People who require these services deserve a peace of mind knowing there loved ones are being cared for. I hope you give me a chance to let me care for your furry loved ones! Thank you so much I have a senior cat I’ve had since he was a few weeks old. I have a toddler and work so I try to fit everything into my schedule. For a clients home, I would spend time with your animal. We’d go on walks, play time, feeding, and of course treats! What’s ever your animal needs.

About: I have cared for my own pups and cats ever since I was four. Over the years, I’ve had a few hamsters, and I currently have a nine year-old Shih Tzu whom I adore. I just graduated from Wilson College where I did a few years of Veterinary Nursing. I am extremely passionate about animal care. I’ve gained valuable experience from working at a pet store for three years and from completed a year-long Veterinary Assistant program, which was extremely beneficial and geared my initial career choices. I am quite active and would love to take animals on walks or runs as needed throughout the day. I enjoy spending quality time with animals and playing with them. Additionally, I am comfortable administering medication, feeding, bathing, and brushing. I find cleaning quite stress-relieving, so I assure you that cleanliness is important to me. Your space and animal will be treated with the utmost respect. Do you need your plants watered? Fish fed? Dust levels maintained to a minimum? I am happy to assist with these services as well! I am home from college and decided to get right back into Pet sitting. I have plenty of time with my remote internship to take care of one of my favorite things in this world: Animals. Pets fit perfectly with my daily and weekly routine. Caring for pets in my home or a client's home can vary depending on the specific needs of the pets. 1. Routine: I try to Establish a consistent routine for feeding, walking, and playtime and /or go with a routine as similar as their usual one as I can. 2.Communication: Discuss the pet's routine, dietary needs, and any special instructions with the client. Maintain communication throughout the whole stay and beforehand. 3. Updates: I Keep the client updated on their pet's well-being through messages or photos. 4. Respect: I Treat the client's home with respect and follow any house rules they have set.

About: I have cared for pets my entire life. I had 3 dogs throughout school, and have assisted in training 5 dogs and 3 cats in my life (all of whom I love with my whole heart). I have also always been very good with new animals, and animals seem to like me (even when they "never like anybody"). I'm currently working part-time as I wait for my nursing program to start and figured I could make some extra money doing something I love to do anyways - hanging out with animals! I have enough space to play with your pet in my apartment and have a large, private yard. My yard is not fenced but I assure you I know how to hold a leash so that it cannot be pulled away and I have experience with strong dogs (I had a pit bull and 2 boxers growing up).

About: I’ve always taken care of dogs since I was little, i’ve had many different breeds & know everything there is to come with from a dog as i’m such a big dog lover! & im also capable of taking care of cats i love any animals, I took care of my neighbors cat while they were gone for a week long vacation and it was the greatest time! It fits my routine as i’m a part time worker who wants something to do on my free time & being around dogs would be the best to share my free time with. I have my own dog so what i do to care for her is feed her 2 meals a day (with treats throughout the day!) i like to take my dog lydia on walks as she loves the outdoors and seeing people in the neighborhood.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life and have always wanted to work with them! Throughout the past years I’ve dog sat for friends and family, and extended family! I am currently out of work at the moment, so more time to play and entertain your friendly cats and dogs any time of day! I have a ton of experience working with dogs and cats of all ages! I have one cat at home and a rabbit! I did grow up with dogs all my life and still dog sit for my parents and friends when they go out of town! I can easily crate dogs when needed!

About: I have taken care of small to large dogs since I was 10. I am prompt for every visit unless an emergency has arrived. I am willing to bathe, walk, and do drop-in on your pets daily. I'm currently a stay at home mommy so my schedule is very open. The only time your pet would be alone is when I am running an errand or Sundays for a few hours while we are at church. Every pet is different. The care that is given to each clients pets will all depend on their needs as each pet has different needs.

About: Although most of my experience lies in caregiving and sitting for equine/farm owners, I also have lots of experience taking care of household pets! I started letting out close friends/neighbors' dogs when I was about 10 and began staying overnights to take care of pets as soon as I had my license when I turned 16. I have more experience with larger dogs (Pitbulls, labs, Malinois, German Shepards) but have also taken care of some smaller dogs as well. Don't let me forget cats! I love sitting for households with a kitty! Nothing is more fun than playing with toys or even just laying around grooming and brushing a cat. A purr from your cat is one of my favorite sounds. There has never been a time I have not had a dog or cat in my household, currently, I have two German Shepards and two rescue kitties! I can do just about anything you and your pet need; walks, house sitting, baths, playtime, etc. I am currently home for the summer from college and will head back to college on August 27th. Since I just recently got home, I have not finalized my work schedule but I will post that as soon as possible. Anyways, I am a part-time employee so as long as your pet can be alone for a few hours at most my work schedule generally does not conflict with caring for your pet. As a competitive horseback rider, there are a few weekends that I have competitions during the day, but after assessing your pet's needs I can let you know if I am still available to help you and your pet with whatever you both need! Whenever house sitting, dog walking, potty breaks, or even playtime I always make sure to leave my client's home how I found it; clean and secure. I always make sure to follow instructions regarding the security of the home (for example what doors need to be locked/unlocked). I also always make sure the house is in the same condition as before I came as if I was never even there. I would never share keys, passcodes, etc with anyone because that would be a violation of my client's privacy and safety which I respect greatly. My main priority is to leave my clients smiling, and their pets purring or tails wagging!

About: I worked at a kennel for a year but I've had dogs all my life. There's never been a year I haven't had a dog. I have three dogs of my own currently so I take care of them almost every day. I also play and cuddle them every day and give them all the love they deserve. I have three dogs of my own currently so I take care of them almost every day. I also play and cuddle them every day and give them all the love they deserve.

About: I've cared for several breeds throughout my life, all with different types of needs, be it activity for young dogs, special grooming instructions, or medications for seniors. I've prior volunteer experience at the Cumberland Valley Animal shelter and taken obedience training through the Mercersburg Veterinary Clinic. I currently own 3 dachshunds who have special needs due to their long backs. Even with all my experiences, I understand each dog still has it's own personality. I work out of my home and have availability for visits to feed or exercise with your pet at different points throughout the day during the week. Weekends are typically free. I am able to work with detailed care instructions and provide reassuring messages or pics from each visit. I know firsthand the relief a good sitter can give and I aim to provide that same level of care.
