About: What I've learned in my ten years watching animals is that, big or small, all pets need a little extra looking after when their people are away. From allergy medicine to daily long walks and a whole lot of fetch I've found that every dog is unique in their needs. I look forward to getting to know your furry friend or friends and helping them maintain a sense of comfort and fun while their family is away! My main gig is watching animals and houses. I'm happy to work any time I don't have other clients booked. Thank you for your consideration. Keeping animals in their familiar routine is my main focus. Whatever their usual daily schedule looks like (feeding times, walks, bedtime, etc) is what I try to recreate. I have experience giving medication if needed and am happy and able to provide walks as far as your pet enjoys.

About: I grew up with my family members having many dogs which led me to wanting to get my own. In 2016 I got a Husky Lab at 8 weeks old and is now 9 years old. Fast forward a few years, in 2023 I adopted a German Shepherd mix puppy which is now 3 years old. They are both large dogs (75+ pounds) so lots walks are a must. Also, I have experience administering medication due to both my dogs having allergies. Since 2016, I have dog sat different kinds of dogs ranging from days to weeks. I do enjoy long walks, car rides, traveling, and being couch potatoes with my dogs. However, my care will be tailored to your dog's needs and I look forward to meeting your pup(s). I work full time during the week so my availability will be open Friday evenings - Sunday only. I am open for dog walking, check ins, and overnight stays. I care for pets in their home by getting to know the family and dog (s). This is important as some dogs can come from shelters and have different backgrounds. It's helpful for myself that I speak to the owner about the dog's routine/schedule and health. It's best for me to adapt to their schedule to keep the dog(s) comfortable and happy.

“Loved Gabriel’s WILLINGNESS to learn from the dogs! I intend to snatch Gabriel up because of this and his kindness with my fur babies! I will DEFINITELY be booking him for a weekly schedule 😊!”

“We had been let down by someone to take Hamz for a walk when I started my new job, we contacted Darlene and after a little chat we met up so Hamz could meet her and we could go over his specific medical issues. Hammy fell quick and hard for the wonderful Darlene and just a couple of days later she dropped in and took our baby boy for his lunch time walk, while seeing to his medical needs ahead of his operation. Hammy went for his operation on the Friday and Darlene asked to be updated over the weekend and rejoiced with us when he was doing so well. Darlene has been a wonderful addition to Hammys life and my husband and I can not thank her enough for the piece of mind she has given us. Thank you so much, you truly have made a wonderful difference to our lives.”

About: I have been in the animal world since 2017 with my first job being at an animal shelter. In 2022 I went to a university to get my bachelor's degree in canine science to further my knowledge and skill. I absolutely love dogs and all animals; I treat them with the same respect I would another person. I specialize in reward based training (positive reinforcement), dog body language, and behavior. Dog training should be fun for you and the dog. Positive reinforcement is the best way to train because it helps build better bonds between the pet parent and the dog, as well as teach important behaviors and discourage unwanted behaviors. I currently have a fulltime job as a professional dog trainer elsewhere, but I want to open up some time to do more training/walking/other services outside of my job. I have full availability Wednesdays to do training, walking, or checking in on your pup in the home. I am very respectful of people's property, I have dog sat for friends of friends and colleagues. I won't just be there to check in, I will also be there to administer any meds needed, make sure your pet has food and water, play with your pup, and walk them.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes and have years of sitting experience. I have taken care of puppies, senior dogs, and anywhere in between. I recently graduated college and am looking for something to occupy my time during the summer. I am available most days and times of the week. I will satisfy any rules and requests to keep your fur babies comfortable and on their regular routine. I love walking and playing with pups.

About: When it comes to taking care of dogs, I have lots of experience in taking care of older dogs and know what they need in order to be taken care of well and safely! I’m currently working part time but I usually have a ton of time after work to care for pets, and take care of whatever needs they have! I have a fenced backyard and 1 older dog that is currently living with me, as well as a younger dog! Depending on the service and type of dog I will make sure the dog feels safe and loved!

“Taylor is very friendly and sweet toward my LuLu...she always drops her off with details from their walk.”

“Katie was great with our three dogs. She is reliable, punctual and the dogs love her. Would recommend her without reservations.”

About: I have always had a dog ever since I was little. My family and friends have always referred to me as the dog lover! They’ll always come to me for dog advice and care especially since my career is working with dogs since they were born. They know their dog will always be well taken care of with me as I will always treat them as one of my own. I’m a full time worker, but I am available throughout the day on week days😊 I can try to accommodate on weekend nights if needed. I will follow all instructions that I am given by the pet parent. I would try to make the pet feel as comfortable as possible knowing that I’m not someone they see on a daily basis!

Chadbourne dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was Trace’s first walk with Rocelyn. I received photos along the way, she gave info on his bowel movements and urination, and received a map of their walk. She walked him for 30 minutes and managed to walk over 1.2 miles. When Trace returned home he was very happy and wiped out. He slept the day away after their session. This morning, he was at the door looking for her, hoping for another walk I’m sure. My dog is a bit overweight and I could see him becoming quite trim walking with Rocelyn. Overall, I would rate her walking service a 10/10, and we will continue to book with Rocelyn in the future.
