About: I have been petsitting since 2014, as of recently taking a break from my full time corporate job. I have open availability for whatever you have in mind - for the same cost of a kennel or less, your dog can stay in his environment while you are away, with plenty of company/outside time/exercise as you see fit. Happy to take long walks if needed. Your pup is also welcome to stay in my home if you’d prefer as long they are ok with other dogs/cats! Open availability, full time care. If housesitting I’m happy to spend majority of day with your pets, however will need to leave a few hours of day to take care of my own. I have a fully fenced in wooded yard and two of my own dogs who are ready to play. They are supervised at all times if outside.

“Robyn was great, will definitely rebook in the future. She came for an initial meet and greet, and her level of communication during the engagement was great. She followed the feeding instructions to a tee and made sure our cat had food and water served in clean dishes. She also made sure to lock up our windows and doors securely after every visit. Thank you Robyn!!”

“Madison was great! She was very communicative leading up to the visit, arrived on time, asked great questions about how to care for Barnaby, sent really nice photos of her stay with Barnaby, and was friendly throughout.”

About: I have 2 dogs and 4 cats. I only book 1 household at a time so your pet/s will only be with mine during their stay. If there is any overlap between bookings, I will communicate it to you so you can make the beat decision for your pet's care. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I can administer medication and care for injuries. My dogs are husky mixes that are full of energy and very friendly and playful. They frequent local dog parks, daycares and Rover sitters and are very well socialized - they do well with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. My cats are 2 seniors and 2 youngsters. The seniors keep to themselves, the youngsters may be curious. If for any reason your dog or cat requires a quiet or private space, I can offer that too without any issue. I work from home so your pet will have very frequent attention and play time. They will also have lots of space to run and explore. If okay with you, they are also welcome to join us on car rides to parks and walks. I have a fenced yard and a very pet friendly home. Pets are allowed on couches, beds, and I have both private and social spaces for any less social or pets with special needs. I have a large crate that can be used if needed/desired.
About: I have been taking care of a large variety of dogs for 20 years. From eight weeks old to 16 years old, from pugs to chows and pitbulls to 140 pound malamutes I have cared for them all. I can come by to walk and feed your best friends once a day or stay and cook them meals as per your request. I want to make sure you and your loved ones are as comfortable as possible while you are away. I do freelance work so I have pretty open availability. Making sure you're needs are met so you are comfortable is my top priority. If for some reason I can't meet all of your needs I will tell you before committing to something that doesn't fit my schedule or abilities. I am here for you. How I care for your pets and home is mostly dependent on your requests. I give medicine, food and exercise as requested. I can simply fill a food bowl, measure servings and even cook protein and veggies for your dogs if that is what you want. I am happy to keep you updated or send you pictures if you'd like. Walks are as far/long/plentiful as requested. I want to provide you with the comfort of knowing someone is there to care for your loved one as you would while you are away.

About: I grew up around dogs. At just 10 years old, my mom involved me in dog sitting for a neighbor. I worked for her until I turned 18, cleaning kennels, walking the dogs, and dog sitting when she traveled. During college and afterward, I managed a dog care and senior dog shelter, dedicating my time to caring for the dogs. After work, I would walk the shelter dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and simply love being around animals. I love being around animals. I'm currently in between jobs and seeking new opportunities, but in the meantime, I would love to spend some quality time with animals. It really helps bring joy and comfort to my days. I live in the beautiful mountains with my two rescue dogs, who bring so much joy to my life. If the pet is staying at its home, it will enjoy cuddles and plenty of treats.
“Sandy & Chase are great! Super quick to respond and are great communicators. They sent nice pics and updates of our dog during the visit and we really appreciated their care.”

“Jackie is great! She takes excellent care of our two puppies several times a week. She drops by and let's them out to go potty mid-day, pays them a little attention, and our dogs love her.”

“Looking forward to asking Donald to watch my cat again! Donald is friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. My very shy cat was very comfortable around him.”

About: Welcome to Camp Jennie! Animals (especially dogs) have always been the light of my life! I have hands-on experience working in dog daycare and boarding, and I love spending time with animals at sanctuaries or out in the wild. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, from energetic puppies who want to play all day to senior dogs who are happiest with a slow walk and some extra cuddles. Living in Golden means I’m outside whenever I can be, so if your pup loves adventures, we’ll enjoy plenty of walks, sniffs, and even swims. I live near Clear Creek and a great dog park, so playtime and socialization are abundant. I’ll even take your buddy up a 14er if that’s something you want, but if your dog would rather stay in, I’m just as happy spending the day at home playing with them, giving belly rubs, and making sure they get plenty of attention. I’ll care for your dog like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing they’re having a great time at Camp Jennie! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. I’m often home during the day, which means I can provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I love being outdoors and staying active, so walks and adventures are already a big part of my day. I also live near Clear Creek in Golden, which makes it easy to enjoy outdoor time and cool off with pups who love the water and have permission to splash around! Whether your pet is adventurous or prefers relaxing at home, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re in my care. I care for every pet as if they are my own and focus on keeping them comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine. Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I take the time to learn their habits, personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions. In my home, pets can expect a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and cozy downtime. I enjoy spending time outdoors, so active pups can get plenty of enrichment, while pets who prefer a slower pace will get lots of companionship and affection. When caring for pets in their own home, I understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable in their familiar space. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep their routine consistent, and provide updates with photos so you know they’re happy and well cared for.

“Absolutely amazing! I would recommend Becky to anyone looking for a Petsitter. She did a wonderful job watching my cats and reptiles while I was away for the holiday. She was available on short notice, her prices cannot be beat, and most of all she went above and beyond to provide my animals with the highest level of care. I will be rebooking her again!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
