“We have been traveling for a week and changing plans due to the lack of snow so we made a very last minute request and Emma was super flexible and communicative. She took great care of Minnie! Minnie can be anxious when away from home but was much calmer than usual when we picked her up. When Minnie needed space from Emma’s playful dogs, Emma gave Minnie her own space in the house. We got updates and photos during the day too. We highly recommend Emma and would use her again if we’re traveling in this area again.”
About: We share our home with a 15 years young, grumpy old-man Chihuahua, a 7-year old Chihuahua mix, and a new Husky-mix puppy. Dogs provide us with so much love and kindness on a daily basis, that's why I believe we should offer that same kindness back to them! Rochelle has been caring for dogs for well over a decade, from totally healthy to those needing special care (medicine, slower walks, special feeding requirements). In general, our pups get along great with low-energy dogs and low-energy dogs are ideal clients! Though, the puppy can also help us with higher energy pups. Rochelle works from home full time. We REQUIRE a meet and greet prior to booking new clients, no exceptions. Due to medical concerns, Rochelle is only able to care for small to medium size dogs for the safety of your dog(s) and my own safety. Willing to consider dogs who are larger in size only if they have completed intensive behavioral training (such as therapy dog training or hunting dog training) in which your dog will respond to commands 100% of the time. About: My husband and I dearly miss the company and compassion of our golden retriever and collie. So, missing having a pet around, we have joined Rover as a to be able to extend our warmth to other people's pets. We like to express ourselves to a dog/puppy through cuddling, brushing, belly rubs, and active walks that delight them. We have a third-of-an-acre, fully fenced-in backyard (see our pics!) as well as an array of large public parks within a mile of our house. And we have to mention the nice doggy pool we have added! We are well accustomed to attending to feeding schedules, walking schedules, and hugging time (always). As my husband and I are both at home 24/7, we keep a close eye and ear on the barking and tail wagging, and we don't leave the pet unattended for a minute. We are a couple in midlife who have oodles of time to spend attending to a pet. We have a large fenced-in yard (1/3 acre), a large doggy pool, and multiple city parks within walking distance. Over the past 12 years, we have had our two loving dogs together, and they have trained us well to be attentive to potty breaks, exercise and romping, meal times, occasional snacks, and cuddles.

I have open availability for whatever you have in mind - for the same cost of a kennel or less, your dog can stay in his environment while you are away, with plenty of company/outside time/exercise as you see fit. Happy to take long walks if needed. Your pup is also welcome to stay in my home if you’d prefer as long they are ok with other dogs/cats! Open availability, full time care. If housesitting I’m happy to spend majority of day with your pets, however will need to leave a few hours of day to take care of my own. About: I've been an animal lover my entire life. Ever since I was a little girl I would bring home injured or stray animals to care for. I've raised an assortment of pets from parakeets, cats, fish, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and many dogs. Our dogs are like our children to us. It's our goal to provide the very best life we could possibly give them with lots of love, structure, exercise, a good healthy diet, and medical attention when required. Any animal that comes in our presence will experience the same treatment. I work full-time remotely. While we don't have a yard per se, we live in the mountains bumped up against BLM land with lots of hiking trails and areas to walk. Our dogs get exercised daily on the trails surrounding our home. With my at-home work schedule, I have the flexibility to take walks for my breaks and lunch hour and to get up and take care of things as needed through out the day. We get up early and go outside immediately so our dogs can relieve themselves then we go in and have breakfast. After breakfast, I start work while the dogs tend to relax on the bed behind me. I will take them out to potty again on my first break then on my lunch hour, we go for a walk through the forest behind the house. They get another potty break on my second break and then another short walk after I sign out of work for the day in the evening time. We free-feed our dogs but if we have other dogs in the house we will adjust the feeding and schedule to the visiting dog(s). We are normally in bed around 10 pm and our dogs are fully on our schedule for sleeping. If we need to step out for a bit, our dogs are good being left alone in the house but we do have a crate if needed for dogs that aren't good being left alone.

From bathroom breaks to water breaks Shawn handled it. If the doggies were low on food/water he took care of it. He walked the dogs on various routes within the neighborhood to keep them interested. About: I grew up around dogs. At just 10 years old, my mom involved me in dog sitting for a neighbor. I worked for her until I turned 18, cleaning kennels, walking the dogs, and dog sitting when she traveled. During college and afterward, I managed a dog care and senior dog shelter, dedicating my time to caring for the dogs. After work, I would walk the shelter dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and simply love being around animals. I love being around animals. I am licensed to administer medication to humans, and have volunteered with wild animal rescues, so I can care for sick animals too. “I was nervous about bringing my 8 month old puppy to stay with someone I didn't know in a house with other dogs. My fears evaporated when I met Julia. My dog is very sweet but can be shy when she meets new people. Julia was very patient and followed my lead about the best way to introduce herself to Roxy. Roxy warmed up to her almost immediately. Julia was patient about introducing her dogs to Roxy. She went at Roxy’s pace, bringing the dogs out one at a time as she got used to the space and each dog. I received numerous pictures during Roxy’s playdate, and I could tell by her body language that she was calm and happy. We can't wait to see Julia again!”
