“We weren’t able to book our normal sitter for our dog reactive pup and thought we’d have to miss a family trip until we met with Chris. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. About: I am 18 and I graduated highschool may 2026. I have a lot of experience with dogs and other animals. When I was younger I participated in dog training 4-h where I would take my dog and train him surrounded by a lot of other dogs. I also worked at a doggy daycare where I would watch many dogs at once and keep them all calm, fed, and happy. I have four dogs of my own, two Dalmatians and two chiawawa mixes. About: I love big dogs, especially GSDs, but have experience with many ages, breeds, and sizes. I grew up with several labs. The last 10 years I raised a German Shepherd from 8 weeks that sadly passed away last summer. Needless to say I miss being covered in dog hair. If the weather permits and your dog is accustomed to going to the dog park, they can join us on trips to play. We have both gone through dog training programs, most recently Ted Terroux. Thus, we are able to board mid-week *if* your dog is COOL (plays well, non-destructive, low flight risk), and knows how to use a doggie door. We have a great record of caring for our dogs and we will be able to safely and reliably take care and keep your dog safe and happy in a comfortable and clean home. We typically feed our dogs in the morning and evening, but can accommodate your pups needs. Our home is very clean and well taken care of. There is a main level in which we hang out with great room, office and kitchen. The dogs have free-roam of the main level which has laminate flooring, but covered with carpet squares as one of our dogs does not like walking on hardwood floors. So, it is mostly carpeted for her comfort. We have a large sectional in which we allow dogs to snuggle with us while watching TV. The LARGE yard is mostly grass, some mulch/landscaped trees & shrubs, with concrete patio in which we spend a lot of time dining and reading. We pick up poop DAILY. During the evening, if you request your dog could be crated in the bedroom in which one of us is sleeping as dogs are pack animals and they don't like being separated from the pack. We keep them close to us. But, we want to keep everyone safe, so the crate is available (optional) for their safety as well as ours/our pets. But again, they are slumbering in the same room with us.

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life. Ever since I was a little girl I would bring home injured or stray animals to care for. I've raised an assortment of pets from parakeets, cats, fish, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and many dogs. Our dogs are like our children to us. It's our goal to provide the very best life we could possibly give them with lots of love, structure, exercise, a good healthy diet, and medical attention when required. Any animal that comes in our presence will experience the same treatment. I work full-time remotely. While we don't have a yard per se, we live in the mountains bumped up against BLM land with lots of hiking trails and areas to walk. Our dogs get exercised daily on the trails surrounding our home. With my at-home work schedule, I have the flexibility to take walks for my breaks and lunch hour and to get up and take care of things as needed through out the day. We get up early and go outside immediately so our dogs can relieve themselves then we go in and have breakfast. After breakfast, I start work while the dogs tend to relax on the bed behind me. I will take them out to potty again on my first break then on my lunch hour, we go for a walk through the forest behind the house. They get another potty break on my second break and then another short walk after I sign out of work for the day in the evening time. We free-feed our dogs but if we have other dogs in the house we will adjust the feeding and schedule to the visiting dog(s). We are normally in bed around 10 pm and our dogs are fully on our schedule for sleeping. If we need to step out for a bit, our dogs are good being left alone in the house but we do have a crate if needed for dogs that aren't good being left alone.

Not only that, but I grew up spending every summer on my grandparent's farm where I learned to take care of all manners of animals and their specific needs. I am comfortable with horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, hamsters, ducks, raccoons, pet squirrels, you name it! I've had a lot of experience with helping others rehab wildlife too! About: I've lived most of my life with dogs and cats in addition to sundry other animals from tortoises to tarantulas. I am particularly fond of all dogs which is why my wife and I have fostered nearly a dozen rescue and foster dogs/puppies over the last 8 years. Along with raising two high energy Australian shepherds from puppies, I have had plenty of experience handling medium to large size dogs that can be reactive or fearful under certain situations or are simply a handful. Having worked with a lot of dogs I know they all have their own unique personalities and challenges and understand the importance of flexibly adjusting care strategies. I work from home ~2 days per week and when house sitting will remain with your pet during the day. I generally do long walks in the mornings before work and after. Dog walks or short visits during the day can be arranged as long as they are done so well in advance. I have two relatively high energy dogs who need a lot of attention. Generally, I take them to an open fenced in space in the mornings to play fetch then go for a walk. We then go for a shorter walk in the evenings. We have a small fenced garden that we let them out in to do their business when they need to 2-3 times per day. As our dogs have gotten older and more mellow/better behaved we've relaxed a number of rules such going on furniture or sleeping in our room at night.
About: I have been around dogs since the day I was born. Always living with at least two in my house. Most have been rescues but I have had the opportunity to train some from 8 weeks old. I watch both of my best friends dogs when they go out of town usually for a couple of nights. I love dogs with all my heart. I always walk and care for them no matter whose they are. I’m currently spending time back home and have lots of extra time to help take care of your pets. I’m available most days to either walk, or house sit depending on your needs. I love animals and can help for single to multiple days. I have three dogs that all get along well with other dogs. If you needed me to take care of your pets at my house I have plenty of space and activities. Behind my house is a soccer field as well as a trail up to mesa cortina. Fetch and hikes will be a definite.

About: I’ve taken care of kids and animals my whole life because I love providing love and care to all living things! I enjoy taking pets on walks, engaging them with their toys, and of course giving them some good pats and scratches :) I work remotely and have the flexibility in my schedule to match the routines you keep with your fur babies. Taking a break from work to go on a walk, play fetch, or give some pats & scratches is my favorite! Any pet in my care will be getting the VIP treatment where attention, playtime, and affection are concerned. I used to be a teacher, and from my time managing classes of over 35 middle schoolers and their art supplies, I am a very flexible, detail oriented person, who follows instructions closely which would translate well into specific care needs for any pet. About: I am 18 and I graduated highschool may 2026. I have a lot of experience with dogs and other animals. When I was younger I participated in dog training 4-h where I would take my dog and train him surrounded by a lot of other dogs. I also worked at a doggy daycare where I would watch many dogs at once and keep them all calm, fed, and happy. I have four dogs of my own, two Dalmatians and two chiawawa mixes. So I have a lot of experience in handling all types of dog sizes and breeds. As for other animals, I have the most experience with fish and guinea pigs as I used to care for fish at my job and my little sister had a guinea pig so I know everything about how to care for one.
