About: I love big dogs, especially GSDs, but have experience with many ages, breeds, and sizes. I grew up with several labs. The last 10 years I raised a German Shepherd from 8 weeks that sadly passed away last summer. Needless to say I miss being covered in dog hair. I have experience with various personalities, separation anxiety, cuts/injuries, and administering medication. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, hikes, and going to parks, but can also just hang out with your pup if that’s what’s desired. I work remote full time and set my own schedule, allowing flexibility all hours and days. I live in a home with plenty of room and a fenced in backyard. Trails are 20 yards away. Reach out if you’d like to set up a meet and greet! I work remotely and make my own schedule, so I’m flexible at all hours and days to provide the care that your dog needs and deserves. Dogs are always welcome in my home! I have plenty of space with a fenced in yard and dogs are allowed on the couch and in the bed. I’m easy to work with, patient (some dogs just like to sniff more than they walk), communicative, and can adjust to any preferred care strategy to provide a trustworthy service while you’re away.

About: Hi, my name is Tracy. I am a Colorado Native. Feel free to call me Trace. Animals love me. I am trustworthy and reliable. I have over a decade of pet care and animal experience - it’s always come naturally to me. I recently moved to Nederland September of 2025 and am now feeling settled enough to offer local services. Thank you for looking. MORE ABOUT ME: I've been pet sitting since college and have also professionally walked dogs, worked in an animal shelter, and at a doggy daycare. I've had cats and dogs my whole life and most animals warm up to me quite quickly. I tend to gain trust easily. I will take the best care possible of your furry friend and we will likely become friends. :) I am also incredibly clean and safe. Please let me know if you have any questions or how I can be of service to your needs. Thank you for your time, attention, and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your furry friend.. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you! FYI as of 2025: If you know your dog(s) would like a play friend and is open to having my older lab mix join, please let me know. We would of course do a meet & greet first to see if you feel good about it before proceeding. If this would enhance your dogs' care, I could easily able to pet sit for you. I’ve done this multiple times before and it’s gone well —(Michele in my reviews is an example or happy to give other references). She gets along wonderful with other non-reactive dogs, just no cats. I've recently raised my prices since Rover has raised there percentage cuts and also now takes an 11% booking fee on top of that. If it works out that my dog is welcome to come with, I am more than happy to work with you for a fair rate. Otherwise I have to see if my pet sitter is able to watch my dog and I have to part with her which is getting harder and harder to do as she ages and why I haven't taken on as many jobs as in the past. Thank you for understanding. I give any animal in my care high quality attunement, attention, affection and exercise, play and outdoor time! Thanks so much. SCHEDULE: Currently working remote part time and can give your pet(s) extra attention, TLC, walks, potty breaks, and not leave them unattended for long hours. YOUR PETS CARE: I have been told by other clients that they return to incredibly happy pets which I feel is evidence of the excellent care I take of them. I will help them feel safe, at home, and exercised to their needs. I love to walk dogs in any weather. I also give tons of love & attention and send you photos.

About: I am 18 and I graduated highschool may 2026. I have a lot of experience with dogs and other animals. When I was younger I participated in dog training 4-h where I would take my dog and train him surrounded by a lot of other dogs. I also worked at a doggy daycare where I would watch many dogs at once and keep them all calm, fed, and happy. I have four dogs of my own, two Dalmatians and two chiawawa mixes. So I have a lot of experience in handling all types of dog sizes and breeds. As for other animals, I have the most experience with fish and guinea pigs as I used to care for fish at my job and my little sister had a guinea pig so I know everything about how to care for one. No matter the animal I would love to care for your pet and will follow any and all instructions to a T. Please let me know of any questions and thank you! I work part time at a doggy daycare on the weekends from 12- 7pm in Boulder , but I can still check in on your pet after work! I also currently am in high school and graduating in may so I can check in on your pet after school too! When I am in charge of a pets safety and wellbeing I take it very seriously. I will make sure the pet is very well taken care of and happy. I will follow instructions from the owners to a T.

About: I’ve had pets since I was six years old. I love all furry pets and adore their cuddles and attention. I’ve been dog walking, pet sitting, and house sitting since my adolescence. I’ve raised four canine companions for independence service dogs so I feel confident in my ability to care for and provide the utmost care possible for your pet. I also used to work at a doggy daycare before I graduated from university. I am confident being around large groups of animals and still managing to provide individual care to each animal. I work Monday through Thursday 8a-6p and I commute from Westminster, so I would love the privilege to care for your home and your pet while you are away to save myself some gas money! I do not have facilities to house your pets, but I have the availability to come housesit in your home! I’d love to meet in person before your trip so we can build a sense of rapport and trust before you leave me caring for your home and pets.

About: I have been petsitting since 2014, as of recently taking a break from my full time corporate job. I have open availability for whatever you have in mind - for the same cost of a kennel or less, your dog can stay in his environment while you are away, with plenty of company/outside time/exercise as you see fit. Happy to take long walks if needed. Your pup is also welcome to stay in my home if you’d prefer as long they are ok with other dogs/cats! Open availability, full time care. If housesitting I’m happy to spend majority of day with your pets, however will need to leave a few hours of day to take care of my own. I have a fully fenced in wooded yard and two of my own dogs who are ready to play. They are supervised at all times if outside.

About: Hi! I'm Beth Ann! 👋🏼 I live in Nederland with husband and our 6 year old lab-mix named Daisy that we rescued and added to our family 3 years ago. I have over 3 years of experience caring for other families pups, in addition to the experience of raising my own sweet Daisy girl. I want to provide your pup(s) with the most individualized attention and care so that they are thriving and happy. I am happy to take younger, more energetic and playful pups for a run/hike or to the dog park. I'm also glad to give more time and attention to both older and anxious dogs. As a dog owner, I know it is hard to be away from our pups, so I will send you texts and pictures to update you on what adventures your pup is up to with me, ensuring you that they are well-cared for! If I am not at home with my own doggo or in my kitchen making sourdough bread, you can often find me trail running, mountain biking or enjoying a cappuccino at a local coffee shop! I am currently work part-time, so I will have plenty of time to love on your dog during the day and on weekends if needed. I always want to leave your pup happy and tired (in a good way meaning they had fun me!) and I will treat your home with as much care as I do my own!

About: I live here in Boulder County and I have availability for your pet whenever they may need, every day of the week! I love getting outdoors, so if your pet has good leash skills or recall, I’d love to take them running or hiking on local trails! I no longer have any pets of my own, but I did love a beagle and a senior cat (and all his quirks!) for many years. I have ample time throughout my day to stop in to relieve your pet, take them for a walk, stay for a few hours, or even overnight for greater companionship. I bring my services into your own home, so your pet is in a safe and familiar environment. Once we familiarize ourselves, I can help your pet feel as though a friend is coming through the door every time I visit!

About: Born and raised living in an animal house! Between the 3-4 dogs at a time, 2 cats (+the ones we took care of outside), and the 50+ rabbits we had, oh and lets not forget the pet oppossom we rescued, I'd say I know a thing or two about taking care of animals! I have helped out many of my friends by taking care of the pets and I currently dog sit for a lady right by my house. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs and happy to help if you have more than one animal! I currently work full time at a little coffee shop in town. Normally working tuesday-saturday. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I tend to get off around 4pm and Thursdays through Saturday I am off at 2pm! Happy to take care of animals early before work and right after I get off. I wouldnt be able to have in-home care at my place but at a clients home I would make sure the animals are well taken care of. They could mean 3 walks a day (with a mix of letting them out in the backyard-if applicable), feeding morning and night, giving treats throughout the day, taking them on hikes (depending on how well trained they are), and providing lots of love and playtime!

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Nederland stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Nederland. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
