Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. During the trip, Chris gave us great updates and we felt good knowing he was in good hands. If we need a sitter again for any period of time, Chris will definitely be top of mind. Thanks Chris!”

“This was my first Rover experience so I was a little nervous to leave Indie with someone new (admittedly, I'm a rather needy pet parent - oops! :) ) Della was so thorough in explanation her daily routine with doggie visitors during our meet and greet a local park. Indie is a pretty shy with new people, and Della completely respected Indie's pace to earn her trust. Della has a radiantly warm and positive energy. Her calm confidence and compassion helped put both Indie and me at ease for her first overnight sleepover party. I received plenty of photos of Indie joyfully leaping around the park with the other doggie guests - and very prompt responses - which I so appreciate. Della somehow even captured a photo Indie with her floppy ears completely airborne as she ran around with other dogs - which made me laugh and is now my phone wallpaper. When I went to pick her up the next morning, her sweet daughter Uma parted with her with plenty of hugs and kisses. What a sweet family Indie is lucky to reside with when I'm out of town. We're lucky to have found Della & Uma!”

I currently work part-time and study from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m able to adjust my routine to accommodate your pup’s needs, whether that means regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, or simply having someone around for companionship. I’m home much of the day and would love to give your dog plenty of attention while you’re away. I live in a ground-floor apartment with a fenced-in backyard, including a dog door that gives pups easy access to the yard when they need it. We really feel in tune with the behaviors of dogs and also enjoy cats too! We love taking walks and hiking. We are available full time since we make our own schedule. Dogs are such unique creatures and we really enjoy getting to learn about them and spend time loving on them. We would love to come play, walk, feed, and care for your pet. We have spent a lot of time with multiple dogs a day so we feel very qualified to look after your special companion. We also have special leash training skills of how to walk dogs. Hope to meet you and your dog!! We work from home, we consider ourselves the utility players, meaning when someone needs us we are available. So we will be able to be with your pets for long periods of the day. We will be with your pets in the comfort of their home and if it something you and the pets are comfortable with we can take them with us to local places.
About: I grew up with two dogs and regularly dog sat and walked for about 8 years. I hope to continue this now that I live in boulder because I love and miss my dogs! I am a student, so my schedule varies but I am usually free in the mornings and late afternoons. Overall I have a very flexible schedule. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including administering medications and caring for a diabetic cat that required insulin injections. I am comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique routine, personality, and needs, whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddles, medication schedules, or simply providing companionship. I currently have a very flexible schedule and work remotely, allowing me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I am available for dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and house sitting, including longer bookings and last-minute requests when my schedule permits. I treat every animal as if they were my own and pride myself on being responsible, attentive, and trustworthy. I live in the Nederland area and have a 4wd vehicle with high clearance, so no problems navigating mountain life for your pets! I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dog - I’ve raised rescue pups to mature gentleman & well-mannered ladies, and they’ve ranged in size from a 100lbs Golden Retriever/Chow mix to a 13lbs Pug/Shitzu. I’m a stay at home pet momma with a flexible schedule that allows me to can care for your fur babies overnight in your home. I live on five unfenced acres and walk my two dogs (always on leash) around Nederland, Sugarloaf, and surrounding areas of the Canyons. I’d be happy to go on leashed walks/hikes with your doggos! or if you have a yard, I’d be happy to watch your pup closely as we enjoy unleashed play time. I am accustomed to and prepared for mountain life and the variables it brings (wildlife, weather, fires, etc.).

“We weren’t able to book our normal sitter for our dog reactive pup and thought we’d have to miss a family trip until we met with Chris. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. During the trip, Chris gave us great updates and we felt good knowing he was in good hands. If we need a sitter again for any period of time, Chris will definitely be top of mind. Thanks Chris!”

“This was my first Rover experience so I was a little nervous to leave Indie with someone new (admittedly, I'm a rather needy pet parent - oops! :) ) Della was so thorough in explanation her daily routine with doggie visitors during our meet and greet a local park. Indie is a pretty shy with new people, and Della completely respected Indie's pace to earn her trust. Della has a radiantly warm and positive energy. Her calm confidence and compassion helped put both Indie and me at ease for her first overnight sleepover party. I received plenty of photos of Indie joyfully leaping around the park with the other doggie guests - and very prompt responses - which I so appreciate. Della somehow even captured a photo Indie with her floppy ears completely airborne as she ran around with other dogs - which made me laugh and is now my phone wallpaper. When I went to pick her up the next morning, her sweet daughter Uma parted with her with plenty of hugs and kisses. What a sweet family Indie is lucky to reside with when I'm out of town.
