“I couldn’t be more thrilled with Louisa as a puppy sitter! She helped take care of my one-year-old pup, Koi, and from the moment they met, I could tell she had a special connection with him. Louisa introduced Koi to her backyard, and they played fetch and tug of war, which was so fun to watch. Later, they even relaxed together watching a movie, and it was Koi's first time seeing a TV screen. He was totally mesmerized by the sounds and images! 20. William E.
About: I have a lifelong passion for working with animals, particularly dogs, and have extensive experience in fostering, adopting, and rehabilitating animals in need. Over the years, I have cared for injured dogs, unhealthy dogs, and those suffering from conditions such as mange, providing them with the patience, care, and treatment they require to heal and thrive. My experience includes everything from administering medications to helping animals regain trust and confidence in humans. In addition to rehabilitation work, I am adept at meeting the day-to-day needs of dogs, whether through quick visits for bathroom breaks, longer walks to keep them active, or providing quality time to ensure they feel loved and supported. My ability to connect with animals, especially those in vulnerable situations, sets me apart in delivering compassionate and effective care. While living in my apartment means I can’t currently have pets, I am fortunate to live near my family, where I regularly visit and spend time with my childhood pets—large German Shepherds. Growing up with these incredible animals has given me a deep understanding of their unique needs, from proper exercise and mental stimulation to the patience and care required to build trust and maintain their safety. Animals have always been a cornerstone of my life, and I am committed to treating every pet with the love and respect they deserve. Whether it’s ensuring a safe environment, building a trusting bond, or meeting their daily needs, I prioritize their well-being in every interaction. Caring for animals doesn’t feel like a responsibility to me—it’s something I genuinely love and value as part of my life. When caring for pets, my approach is tailored to their unique needs and the services required. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick visit, taking them on a walk, or staying longer to keep them company, my priority is to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. In my clients' homes, I ensure that pets feel secure and at ease in their own space. I follow any specific instructions provided, from feeding schedules and administering medication to handling special needs or routines. I also take time to engage with the pets through play, affection, or simply sitting with them so they don’t feel lonely. When walking or exercising pets, I focus on their safety and well-being by choosing appropriate routes and ensuring they stay hydrated and calm, especially in busy or unfamiliar areas. For dogs with behavioral or medical needs, I remain patient and attentive, adjusting my care to their comfort level. My goal is always to build trust, provide quality care, and ensure the pets are happy and relaxed, whether in my care for a short visit or an extended stay
