About: Hi! I am a big dog lover and love caring for pets of all shapes and sizes! I know that every furry friend is unique. I have extensive experience with dog care as I grew up with them and began caring for them at a young age. I work a part time job that does take me away from care for several hours during the day. If your pet requires lots of attention/visits throughout the day I might not be the best person for the job :) I am a full time graduate student. I am available mornings, afternoons and nights as well as full time on the weekends. Each semester gives me a different schedule but I generally have time for a lunch break to swing by and give some pets and a quick walk. Let me know what your pet needs and I will put in my best efforts to make it work! I do not have my own home available for sitting however I am comfortable staying overnight with your pet. I am flexible for you and your pets needs. Let me know your preferences and I will accompany them!
“Another amazing cat-sitting experience! Once again, we had a fantastic experience. Totally reliable, thoughtful, and so sweet with Pixie. She plays with her, sends updates, and always goes above and beyond.”

“Danielle was great! She took amazing care of our two kitties while we were gone for an extended holiday. Normally we have close friends take care of them, but they were also out of town for the holidays. We were a bit nervous to use Rover and a stranger but Danielle was amazing. Very communicative and she took perfect care of our boys. Highly recommend her!”

“Jessica was great! I informed her my dog wasn’t the friendliest with new people or dogs and she didn’t waver- instead she had a great vibe when working with my dog and made my dog the calmest I’ve experienced with rover sitters. Would 100% use her again!”
About: As you can see in my photos, I have a GSP. She needs all the exercise and mental stimulation there is. I have plenty experience tiring out a happy dog :) I’m happy to do walks, play in your fenced yard, have fun at a nearby dog park, or go for a swim. If you’re comfortable with my dog joining, great! If not, totally fine too. I am currently available Monday through Friday, all day! I’m there for ya morning, afternoon, and evening. I’m happy to help any way I can. I know what it is like to want the best care for our pets so I’m committed to providing a safe comfortable space and presence for your bestie. I’m a very empathetic individual so I’ll care for your pet like it’s my own :)
“Dee continues to do a great job with my 2 dogs. She is caring and my dogs love her. She handled a minor emergency well and kept me informed of what was going on. Will continue to book with her!”

“Shelbie was great with my dogs, very communicative and respectful of my home! I could tell my dogs felt comfortable around her and that she truly loves animals from the pictures she sent.”

About: I have paid pet- and house-sitting experience, including a 10-day overnight dog-sitting stay in summer 2023 for a former supervisor. I cared for her poodle, golden doodle, and senior pug, and I returned for several shorter stays during the school year. During those stays, I cared for the senior pug while he was declining in health. I followed the owners’ instructions carefully, asked questions when I was unsure, and communicated any concerns in a calm, factual way. I also sent occasional photo updates to reassure them that their dogs were safe and well cared for. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, potty breaks, walks, playtime, cleaning up accidents thoroughly, and keeping pets on their normal schedule. I also cared for my own cat, Babu, for many years, including during the last five months of her life when she needed regular medication in both liquid and pill form. That experience taught me a lot about patience, gentle handling, and caring for pets who may be sweet, scared, stubborn, or medically fragile. I’m comfortable with cats, dogs, senior pets, multi-pet homes, basic medication routines, litter boxes, and detailed care instructions. I also grew up caring for small and exotic pets, including lizards, hamsters, rats, and helping care for my grandmother’s iguana. I’m happy to care for many small animals or reptiles with clear instructions, though spiders are my one hard boundary. I currently have flexible availability for house sitting, drop-ins, and pet care. For overnight house-sitting stays, I do my best to keep pets on their normal routine, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and quiet companionship. Before each booking, I like to confirm the pet’s schedule, how long they can comfortably be left alone, and any special instructions so I can make sure the care plan is a good fit. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow instructions carefully and treat both the pets and the home with respect. I pay close attention to doors, gates, leashes, harnesses, feeding instructions, medications, litter boxes, potty breaks, and any household routines. I’m comfortable asking questions if anything is unclear and communicating calmly if I notice a concern. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away. I clean up accidents thoroughly, keep pet areas tidy, and do my best to make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.
“We are so grateful for the care Oliana provided for our sweet kitty, Sybil. Oliana sent pictures every day which helped ease our minds while we were away. She was also very easy to communicate with. We will definitely book with Oliana again!”

“Fable had previously watched our dog and watched our cat this time. She made time for us even though it was short notice. She took really good care of him and he even climbed up in her lap to get some pets.”

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for animals. My first job was at a dog boarding facility where I prepared food and medications, cleaned kennels, bathed and groomed dogs, and took them on walks. I’ve also pet-sat for family friends for weeks at a time, caring for a variety of animals—including a pig once! In addition to my professional experience, I have two small Chihuahuas of my own, so I understand how important individualized care, patience, and attention to detail can be. Above all, I genuinely love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. As a resident manager, I have the flexibility to bring my own dogs with me throughout the day. I split my time between my apartment and my office, which has a private living space attached, allowing me to provide frequent supervision and attention. There is also a large park directly behind my workplace, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for walks, exercise, and outdoor time. Your pup will receive lots of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day, whether I’m working or at home. At home, I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day. I live in the downtown area, which gives us lots of opportunities for walks, fresh air, and mental stimulation. I provide a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of toys, treats, and personalized care based on each pet’s needs and routine. Whether your dog loves playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I strive to make them feel happy, secure, and right at home while you’re away.

About: Animal lover with 10 years of hands-on experience caring for cats, dogs, and horses for friends, family, and employers. I am dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all personalities and energy levels. I always take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, energy level, and any special instructions to help keep their schedule consistent and stress-free. About: I lost my own dogs a few years ago, so now I get my dog fix from other people‘s dogs. I take care of dogs like they are my own “children” which is how I referred to my own dogs. Many people have said I am a dog whisperer because I can get dogs to do things owners are not able to do. As I work full time, I make sure dogs get their daily exercise and lovings. While you are away, your dog(s) will be well taken care of with no worries. During the school year, I work full time from 7:30-4 Monday through Friday. I make sure animals have what they need before I leave for work and meet their needs when I return home. I am not able to come home in the middle of the day. During the summer break, I am available all day as I am not working full time. After learning the routine your animal(s) follow daily, l follow it to make sure they stay safe and healthy. I treat your pet(s) and home like it is my own.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Central
Haydee took care of my 2 dogs and cat for a drop in visit. She paid attention to instructions making sure everyone got the right amount and kind of food. She communicated well and everything was in order when I got home. I would certainly have Haydee back to care for my pets again.

Danielle was wonderful! She took excellent care of our two cats. We were initially hesitant to hire someone we didn’t know, but she immediately put us at ease with her friendly demeanor and professionalism. Her communication was excellent, and we loved receiving photos while we were away!

Johanna was so awesome working with my dog who’d never had a Rover before and was terrified. Johanna took great care of her and took time the day before to meet and greet my dog before her stop in visits the next day. Johanna was very patient and knew how to approach Arya and was very good with her!
