About: Hi I’m Madelyn Hedrick. And I just wanted to tell you about my experience with dog sitting and dog walking. I have done both for 4 years. I dog sit for my aunt and uncle and some of my parents friends during the year. I also walk their dogs for them. And take excellent care of each one of them. I have one dog myself so I know how to take care of them. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I am 22 years old and currently going to University of Central Missouri. In a bachelors degree in cybersecurity. Some hobbies I have are reading, working out and sleeping on my free time if I’m being honest. Dog sitting or dog walking can fit into my schedule pretty easily I can walk them in the morning or late afternoon. And dog sit but also go to class. I care for my dog at home by helping with feeding and walking him everyday except Sunday for exercise. I let him out to do his business. In a client’s home I listen to their instructions if they have any so the animal gets exactly what he or she needs.

But once fall and spring roll around, my availability opens up and I'm more flexible for bookings! Same as my dogs, I’m open to feeding, bathing, walking, and playing with your furry friends. From scooping litter to belly rubs I’m all in.

I have a degree in the medical field. I have attended Canine Care workshops put on by the Missouri Department of Agriculture as well as Sheltering conferences. She always says that animals just love me, sometimes it really ticks her off! I work from home almost daily, but if I did have a life…there is always someone to help care for your pet until I return and both of my daughters have been helping me foster and find homes for all of my rescues. They both know proper ways to treat animals while they are with us. I do have a very big home with lots of space, enclosed front porch area, big property with acreage, fenced-in areas as well as not. I do rotations If I am unable to supervise pets together or if one isn't so friendly, allowing turns for each dog to be outside, in the home, and even sleep in my bed! I am familiar and trained in giving animal introductions so that your pet may play with others, unless you prefer otherwise.

Cecelia B.
“Cecelia is a wonderful person to have watch your pets. Without hesitation she took in my cat Arthur for over a year while I had to leave the country. While I was gone she continuously gave me updates and sent me pictures of him. When I came to visit him for a week before having to leave again, he was nothing but happy there. I pick him up in a few months and I know the only reason he’s going to be upset is because he doesn’t want to leave the wonderful home and welcoming environment she has created for him. I can’t recommend anyone more than Cecelia.”
