About: I absolutely love dogs. I have always had dogs myself and growing up we did as well. I have previously worked at an animal hospital and gained a lot of knowledge. I am the type of person that gets really worried to leave my dogs with anyone while we are gone, so I want to be that safe space for someone that may be experiencing the same. I am big on updating and sending pics/texts during my time with your pup. I work full time remotely at home. I have flexibility with my job and am able to stop by throughout the day during the week. I can make any time on the weekends work! I am open to anything that you prefer in your home or if your pup has a special way of doing things - just let me know!
“I had a great experience with Laurie! She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about our cat’s well being. She kept me updated, followed all instructions, and made me feel completely at ease while we were away. I came home to a happy, well cared for cat, which says everything. I would absolutely recommend her and would not hesitate to book her again.”

“Madilyn was amazing and stayed in constant communication with us throughout her visits. It was obvious that our 3 boys took to her right away and enjoyed her company while we were gone. She was very prompt and thorough with all of her visits, provided detailed notes and adorable pictures of our guys, and put our minds at ease with leaving our dogs home while we traveled. Absolutely recommend and will work with her in the future!”

“Kayla is absolutely phenomenal. We went away for a week and she just went above and beyond for our fur baby, Honey. She sent such detailed messages and updates that put our worries at ease!! She even brought in an Amazon package for me that was left outside!! She truly is the best! No one better than Kayla! BOOK HER! You will not regret it!”

“I really appreciate Emma helping me out when I need to be out of the area for the day. Asher loves her. She is dependable, experienced with dogs & always gives Asher lots of attention. I like that she is good at sending photos & giving me updates. I will definitely ask her to help me again. Thank you, Emma”

About: I’ve been tasked to take care of all kinds of animals for as long as I can remember. I have a fenced in backyard, doggy door and a lead attachment for dogs I host and my own dog to come and go as they please along with plenty of space to play in either the garage or one of 3 bedrooms.

I currently work part time so I will have lots of time to look after your pets! Currently right now I am a student at UCM, but I have no other job so I'll have lots of time to look after your pets! About: I feel I am great with interacting with animals. I make sure they are shown love when I am with them and I make sure they are well taken care of and in a clean area. I have had lots of experience living with and caring for many different types of animals. I will be a college student and will use my free time to make sure your animals are cared for. Some days I may not be able to be there the full day but I will do my best to make things work. Our dog is treated with love. She is like a human in our home. She eats with us at the same time and gets to play and hangout with us wherever. We take her on walks and we make sure she is loved.
“Cassidy made 4 trips to tend our two cats. Because the cats are so skittish, she wasn't able to interact with them, but she kept them fed and watered and she brought in our mail and newspapers. The cats were in good shape when we got home.”

About: I was an animal science major and can provide basic veterinary care if needed. I have a dog of my own with a hyper disposition so I know how to keep up with even the most active of pets. I always treat every animal I meet as if it were my own. They’re more than just pets, they’re part of the family. I can spend hours just playing with puppies and adore some doggie cuddles. My passion for animals has been a lifelong adventure and I will always make time to have room in my heart for animals I currently work full time Monday-Friday. I am open to working with your schedule as best I can. Communication is big with me, so let’s communicate to see if we’re a match! I know for me my dog is basically my child, so I know they are part of the family and I take that seriously when it comes to their safety and trust. I always suggest a meet and greet before booking so I not only get to meet you but your fur baby and talk in depth about your needs and their needs. I have stayed in home for clients before and I always try to leave it just as I found it if not better. For dog walks I always double check what you’d like me to do to make it as seamless as possible. Whether that’s locking gates, doors, resetting alarms, etc. You’re safety and your fur babies safety is important!

I don’t have any pets, so I am eager to take every opportunity that I can to look after some cute fur babies! I am very kind, responsible, understanding, and will work with you! Although I do not have any pets, my desire is to have my own pet in a few years after I am more settled down! I love dogs of any shape or size. 🐾 I am currently not working and am just using my time to study for my upcoming pharmacy board exams from home. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
