“Loved how Christina cared for our little guy. We have never left him with a sitter before but as soon we got out of the car to meet her we immediately felt comfortable with her. Her demeanor is very calming and I knew Copper was in good hands. We will definitely be calling her again for future appointments to care for our little guy. So happy to have found her and so close to home for us. Wonderful sitter !!”
“Mariah was super awesome with my dog Gary! Gary isn’t away from me hardly ever and he enjoyed his time with Mariah! She sent me a picture and a video which made me feel so relaxed. No hesitation to take your dogs to her!!!”

“Kenneth was great with Beau! I had to book last minute due to a sudden change in my schedule for 4 days of doggy day care. Kenneth was more than accommodating and is exceptional with communication. Beau was always exercised (evident by his immediate nap when we got home) and excited to see Kenneth in the AM. Highly recommend, this is a no brainer if I ever need doggy day care again.”
“Alex took great care of my puppy! He was there all day while I was at work, I got to enjoy pictures and videos she took of him throughout the day. He went on multiple walks which he loves! About: I grew up on a farm and ranch, caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. While living in South Carolina, I assisted with service dog and obedience training. Dogs have always been a part of my life, and I’ve cared for them throughout my entire adult years. I can’t wait to offer your pup a safe, loving environment while you’re away! Usually home all day Sat and Sunday. Mon - Friday I’m gone from about 9am to 12pm. Home for the rest of the day to keep your pups company, aside from life errands that are few and far between. Drop offs/Pick ups no later than 830pm. As of right now I can have one client at a time, Thank you. I have a 6 foot privacy fence and the front room is set up for your pup to stay in and there is a XXL crate and for smaller pups I have a large play pen and a canopy bed. I do have three dogs that are friendly, however my house is constructed to where I can keep everyone separated and comfortable.

“Absolutely phenomenal! I have just moved from Las Vegas Nevada and I don’t know that many people out here yet. Her warm personality and smile makes you feel at ease. Will definitely be back !”

“Janet was fantastic! She took great care of Luna while we checked out the Cape May zoo and a couple of restaurants. Luna had a blast running around the pool with Bo, and Janet kept us updated with fun pics. Plus, she was super flexible with us when the weather kept changing, letting us adjust our plans. We’ll definitely reach out to her next time we’re in the area! Thanks again, Janet!”

“Our first meeting was the meet and great and I felt comfortable leaving Franco at Kelly's house for day care. Kelly was caring and friendly to our lab. The property has a large fenced in yard for Franco to run around. He had a room with a door, window and mattress which he napped on. Kelly followed instructions and I felt at ease the time I was away from him. Recommend her highly for dog care, and is located near the shore area for vacationing parents. A+ and four ruffs from Franco.”

About: "As a dog sitter. I take pride in my ability to be attuned to dogs with specialized needs. Your dog will receive the highest level of care and attention, tailored to their unique circumstances. I've worked with pups and senior dogs with limited chewing abilities, dogs with separation anxiety who need consistent care and dogs with bowl and bladder issues who need more attentive care. My top priority is doing whats best for your furry friends needs! I have open availability 7 days a week at an affordable price that fits your budget. 1. Initial Assessment: I start by having a discussion with the dog owner to gather crucial information about the dog's habits, preferences, and any special requirements. This helps me understand the dog's routine. 2. Consistency: Whenever possible, I maintain the dog's established daily routine. This includes feeding times, exercise routines, bathroom breaks, and playtime, as familiarity provides comfort and stability. 3. Flexibility: I'm flexible and responsive to any changes in the dog's behavior or needs. If a dog seems anxious, energetic, or unwell, I adjust the routine accordingly. For instance, if a dog needs extra playtime or a shorter walk, I accommodate those needs. 4. Nutritional Needs: I follow the owner's instructions regarding the dog's diet meticulously. If a dog has specific dietary requirements or allergies, I ensure that their meals are prepared and served as per instructions. 5. Medication and Health Care: If the dog requires medication or has health concerns, I'm experienced in administering tablet medications and providing any necessary care. I keep a close eye on their health and notify the owner of any changes. 6. Safety and Comfort: Ensuring the dog's safety and comfort is a top priority. I create a secure environment, free of hazards, and provide cozy resting spaces where they can relax. 7. Communication: I maintain open communication with the dog owner, providing regular updates and photos to keep them informed about their pet's well-being. 9. Positive Reinforcement: I use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior and provide mental stimulation, making sure the dog is mentally and emotionally content. 10. Overall, my approach is based on attentiveness, adaptability, and a deep love for dogs. FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Cedarville
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 385 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Cedarville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Cedarville commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
