“A day before I was due to leave for a weekend trip to NY I found myself still struggling to figure out arrangements for my 5-year-old chipoo, Dixie. I've never left her overnight with anyone before - only for a few hours here and there with family members. Dixie and I both suffer from separation anxiety (from one another haha) and I began searching online not thinking that I would ever find someone good enough to watch my little girl. When I came across Anita and Kirk, I knew instantly that they shared the same love for dogs as I. Dixie and I went to visit and check things out early the next morning and what amazed me most about Kirk and Anita was their attention and dedication to each animal and their specific needs. My specific need was that my little girl would be able to sleep in bed just as she does at home. Whatever your dog is used to at home, they will replicate it! From the pictures and videos that I received for the two days that I was away, I was able to tell that my baby was being spoiled on the Furry Farm just as much as she is at home. They made sure Dixie was comfortable and they reassured me that she was safe and well taken care of. They are definitely one of a kind and I doubt that I'd ever be able to find that level of treatment, care, attention, and affection with anyone else. I would recommend them over and over again and will certainly be using their services again when needed. I could tell that Dixie was enjoying her stay from the smiles in her pictures and I think that it was a growing experience for both of us and our separation anxiety! Thank you Kirk and Anita!”

“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I’ve had extremely large pets and the daintiest little animals. I am always the person at parties petting whatever animal I can get my hands on. Friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets for a long time and I am always happy to do so. I have been struggling finding the perfect place to take my fur babies when I work long hours or am away for a night occasionally. He was flexible with the hours I needed for drop off and pick up. As soon as my dogs got there they were venturing around the enclosed fence area and seemed very happy. My maltipoo has separation anxiety and you wouldn’t have known it when I dropped her off to Kirk. My boxer is a puppy and Kirk was willing to take on having a high energy puppy for a long duration of time. I can’t say enough good things about Kirk for this being only my first time taking my dogs to him and his wife. About: I grew up on a farm and ranch, caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. While living in South Carolina, I assisted with service dog and obedience training. Dogs have always been a part of my life, and I’ve cared for them throughout my entire adult years. I can’t wait to offer your pup a safe, loving environment while you’re away! Usually home all day Sat and Sunday. Mon - Friday I’m gone from about 9am to 12pm. Home for the rest of the day to keep your pups company, aside from life errands that are few and far between. Drop offs/Pick ups no later than 830pm. As of right now I can have one client at a time, Thank you. I have a 6 foot privacy fence and the front room is set up for your pup to stay in and there is a XXL crate and for smaller pups I have a large play pen and a canopy bed. I do have three dogs that are friendly, however my house is constructed to where I can keep everyone separated and comfortable.

Rover is my only job, and I pride myself in the quality of care I am able to give. Your Fur-Babies are my only focus. I provide 24-hour supervision, long walks (it has not been uncommon for me to do mile-long walks with the dogs), frequent potty breaks, and lots of playtime.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors. I am able to medicate pets and give them what ever special diets they may need I also know different things to watch for due to working at a veterinary office. I can make sure they get a lot of outdoor exercise due to my large fenced in back yard, lots of cuddles and if needed one on one attention. And if weather permits and we are able we often take our dogs out for walks on pet friendly trails to give them a change of scenery. I do not take aggressive dogs, and I do require that all dogs are up to date on Rabies vaccine, distemper and bordetella, for their safety and health as well as other pets that are coming into the house. And when I do work my 2 full days I’m home at lunch since I’m only 5 mile from work. And my husband is home about 1 1/2 to 2 hours after I go back to work.. We are basically home bodies and enjoying spend time with with our pets and what ever pets we are watching. I have a large fenced yard and 2 large dogs to keep your fur babies company. Pets are aloud on the couch as well as our bed. I do have gates in the house in case we need to separate pets or during feed times or just in general. If needed we can crate as well. Pets are not allowed out front unless leashed. I do require documentation of updated Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccines.
About: I have been a pet appreciation magnet as long as I can remember. Even when I am not aiming for the attention, the pets gravitate my way, and i have scritches and belly rubs for them all. I have a rescue of my own for 6+ years now, bichon/poodle mix. Though he had a traumatic start before me, he has adjusted well and is a cuddle bug, and getting better with his socialization with new doggos. I am happy to do drop-ins and day or eve walks at your home, and follow any/all your rules. I respect your needs and want to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy in my care. I keep trainer treats in my car, if we need to practice a few basic commands, as well as water and other care essentials. I have a back seat hammock/cover for the pet's safety when traveling (as needed). I also have a med to large dog kennel I can put in the way back of my SUV if that is preferred for safety and security.
About: I love all animals so much! I treat them all like they are my own. I’ve taken care of a wide range of animals, from elderly dogs, to birds, and horses! I owned a Pet Sitting business for many years, but moved states once I got married. Me and my husband are homesteaders. He works from home, and we both tend our ducks and garden. About: Hello ! My name is Amanda and I have been around dogs my entire life. I’ve recently moved into a new house and am looking to get back into helping you and your pets ! I have never known what it is like to live in a house without at least one dog and I don't think I ever will. I started pet sitting for family and friends about 8 years ago and haven't looked back. Cynthia has lots of experience with rescues and was quick to pick up on her needs. During the vacation she sent us many videos and pictures, which helped a great deal.
