About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had seven dogs and six cats, so caring for pets was a part of my everyday life. From feeding and grooming to playtime, walks, and giving them plenty of love and attention, I learned early on what it takes to help pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for mice, turtles, and fish, giving me experience with a variety of animals and their unique needs. I’ve always had pets throughout my life, and caring for animals has never felt like a chore, it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I also spend time feeding and observing backyard birds, which reflects my love and appreciation for all kinds of animals. Whether I’m caring for a playful puppy, an independent cat, or another beloved pet, I treat every animal with the same patience, kindness, and attention I’d want for my own. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feedings, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day, and I can easily adjust my routine to meet each pet’s individual needs. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while maintaining their usual routine as closely as possible. In my home, pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. Although I have an unfenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised, and dogs are always kept safely on a leash. We also have a neighborhood with plenty of sidewalks that are perfect for walks and exercise. If your pet is crate trained or you prefer they be crated when unattended or at bedtime, I’m happy to accommodate that routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their instructions carefully to help pets feel secure in their familiar environment. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same respect and care I would my own.

Kat was great with her initial dog walk with my pup, Riley! She was very open to an initial meet and greet too- which is very important for our furbabies. She was also extremely flexible when my schedule changed at nearly the last minute and was able to accommodate with limited notice. Kat is also great at following all directions and instructions leaving peace of mind and comfortability. Will definitely use her again! 🐶

About: Pets have always been an important part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. Over the years, I've cared for my own cats and dogs as well as pets belonging to family, friends, neighbors, and Rover clients. Each pet has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you're away. I have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs as well as kittens and adult cats. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I'm happy to provide the care they need. I'm comfortable administering oral medications and injections when needed, and I always pay close attention to each pet's behavior, appetite, and overall well-being. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care while giving you peace of mind that your pets are in good hands. I currently offer House Sitting, Drop-In Visits, and Dog Walking. My schedule is flexible, and I do my best to accommodate booking requests whenever possible. House Sitting: My house sitting service is designed for pets who are comfortable being left alone between visits. During the day, I typically visit every 4 hours to provide potty breaks, meals, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of attention. If you'd like overnight care, overnight stays (10:00 PM–8:00 AM) are available as a $40/night add-on through Rover. If your pet has unique needs or a different routine, please let me know before booking so we can discuss the best care plan. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own, and I care for your home with the utmost respect. I carefully follow your pet's established routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special care instructions. My goal is to provide consistent, dependable care while helping your pet feel comfortable in their familiar environment. Safety is at the heart of every visit. I never leave dogs unattended outdoors, even in securely fenced yards. Whether we're outside for a potty break, playtime, or enjoying the fresh air, I remain with your pet at all times to ensure they're safe. Communication is important to me, so you'll receive regular updates and photos throughout your booking. If I notice anything out of the ordinary or have any concerns, I'll contact you promptly. To ensure we're the right fit, I recommend scheduling a Meet & Greet before every first booking. During this time, we'll review your pet's routine, discuss any medical or behavioral needs, and answer any questions you may have. For transparency and the comfort of everyone involved, I ask that clients disclose any indoor cameras before the booking begins. Cameras are welcome in common areas for home security, but they should never be placed in bathrooms or sleeping areas where privacy is expected.

Abigail is so great that we booked her for reoccurring dog walks throughout the week. She is trustworthy, reliable and takes good care of my dog for his afternoon walks while I'm at work by tracking his potty habits, treats and refills bowl with fresh water. We are very happy to have found her. It's such a relief knowing that our dog is well taken care.

I was initially nervous to get a dog walker, as I have never done so before. We did our Meet & Greet and Tim was so nice. My dog, Minnie, immediately liked him and when he came inside my cat, Nyx, came right up to him with his tail straight up in a "Hello" - which was a big surprise because Nyx doesn't normally like strangers! He was accommodating when it came to putting on Minnie's booties because of the weather. Overall, he exceeded my expectations and will happily have him as our walker again!

About: I have taken care of dogs since high school. I graduated college in 2023 with a degree in Health Sciences. I am currently working as an aide at a physical therapy clinic, and looking to make extra money. I love pet sitting and caring for animals is one of my strong suits. I am always willing to accommodate you and your dogs needs and I will always care for them like they are my own! I am currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I am a home body, so I am always at home and also have my mom and grandmom in the home to help if need be. In a clients home, I will leave it completely up to you, how I walk, feed, crate, etc. your dog. But I will always care for your dog as if they were my own! For pet sitting at my home, I do not have a fenced in yard but I usually walk the dogs on leashes around my yard or take them to the park by my house to walk them. I can crate them anywhere in the home if needed. I also have plenty of dog toys/crates/ dog accessories from my own dog.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, patience, and attention I give every animal as if they were my own. I have hands-on experience caring for pets through managing homes and vacation rentals, along with volunteering for animal shelters and farms in Wisconsin, where I worked with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with senior pets, shy or anxious animals, administering basic routines, and keeping pets on a consistent schedule. I’m very detail-oriented, dependable, and communicative, so pet parents always know their animals are safe, loved, and well cared for while they’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and manage my own schedule, which gives me a lot of flexibility and availability throughout the day. I’m able to provide consistent attention, walks, playtime, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and companionship instead of pets being left alone for long periods. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so caring for them feels like a rewarding part of my routine rather than just a job. I also keep my schedule organized and communicate well with pet parents so they always feel informed and comfortable while they’re away. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and household instructions carefully while giving pets plenty of attention, playtime, affection, and supervision. I also make sure the home stays clean, secure, and well cared for while owners are away. Because I work from home and manage my own schedule, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, companionship, and check-ins throughout the day instead of pets being left alone for long periods. I have experience with animals of different temperaments through volunteering with animal shelters and farms in Wisconsin, so I’m comfortable caring for energetic pets, shy animals, and senior pets that may need extra patience and attention.

About: 1) Experienced with dogs of all personalities and temperaments through several years of volunteering at Dogtown Rescue, where I learned how to safely handle dogs with different energy levels, behaviors, and needs. 2) Safety is always my top priority. I’m extremely attentive on walks and proactively avoid situations that could cause stress or unsafe interactions with unfamiliar dogs. 3) Detail-oriented and careful. Before every walk, I check that harnesses, collars, and leashes are properly fitted and secure to help keep your pet safe. 4) Patient and calm approach. I understand that every dog is different and take the time to make them feel comfortable, respected, and cared for. 5) I treat every pet like my own, providing dependable, loving care while giving owners peace of mind that their furry family member is in good hands. Tim has been absolutely amazing with my German Shorthaired Pointer. As a high-energy breed, she requires a lot of exercise and attention, and Tim consistently goes above and beyond to make sure she gets both. He takes her on long walks, keeps her engaged, and genuinely cares for her like she’s his own. She’s always excited to see him and comes home happy, well-exercised, and well cared for. Tim is reliable, trustworthy, and great at communicating, giving me complete peace of mind whenever she’s with him. Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Cedars. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Cedars.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cedars. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
