“Jonathan completed all our scheduled visits including on a holiday and when a winter weather advisory was issued, and we're grateful for that. Our birds (who admittedly fear new people and have a history of abuse/neglect in previous homes) were hesitant maybe of his height and how fast some of his movements were, but he was kind. I think his energy level is likely a great match for dogs and extroverted or high energy level pets. Jonathan thoroughly read and referred back to the notes we wrote about our routines, which is a great sign of care.”

About: I am new to Rover :)) I have taken care of dogs since high school. I graduated college in 2023 with a degree in Health Sciences. I am currently working as an aide at a physical therapy clinic, and looking to make extra money. I love pet sitting and caring for animals is one of my strong suits. I am always willing to accommodate you and your dogs needs and I will always care for them like they are my own! I am currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I am a home body, so I am always at home and also have my mom and grandmom in the home to help if need be. In a clients home, I will leave it completely up to you, how I walk, feed, crate, etc. your dog. But I will always care for your dog as if they were my own! For pet sitting at my home, I do not have a fenced in yard but I usually walk the dogs on leashes around my yard or take them to the park by my house to walk them. I can crate them anywhere in the home if needed. I also have plenty of dog toys/crates/ dog accessories from my own dog.

About: I’ve grown up with two family dogs and have years of hands-on experience caring for them. I also work in a healthcare setting with therapy dogs, so I’m comfortable around dogs of all temperaments. I’ve looked after friends’ pets on multiple occasions and love giving dogs the attention and care they deserve. I work Monday-Friday with flexible hours typically 8-4. I can provide your dog with a long walk or whatever care they need before and after work. I’m available on weekends and during the week. If you live near my work in West Ashley, I would be available to do a mid day visit if needed, as well. In my home, I create a safe, clean, and calm environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for. I stick to their usual routines as much as possible—feeding, walks, playtime, and rest—to minimize stress. I always supervise interactions, provide plenty of affection, and ensure they have access to fresh water, toys, and a cozy place to relax. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all provided instructions carefully. I maintain the pet’s routine, give updates if requested, and make sure the home is just as I found it. My goal is to keep pets happy, healthy, and relaxed—whether they’re with me or in their own familiar space. I’m able to let the dog out during the day if you live near my work in West Ashley.
