Doggy Day Care Cedar Springs

About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs. I feel time together and attention is what bonds both humans and dogs, and seeing them go from anxious and confused to a happy member of "the pack" is one of the more rewarding parts of taking care of them, so I prefer stays long or frequent enough for your pup to feel at home with me and in my home, but I'm also always willing to cover a tight spot or step in for a day of daycare. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for the entire day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take only up to three dogs at a time, and mostly for medium to long term boarding, so it's a calm environment without a ton of new dogs coming and going. I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, walks, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. My space is easily partitioned to allow dogs to eat, nap, or hang out alone in peace if that's what they prefer. I have a doggy door for dogs who like to let themselves in/out at their leisure. (it's about 50/50 whether they figure it out and make use of it lol) I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I don't generally use kennels or crates, but if your dog prefers or is used to using one, by all means bring it along. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture. I have found even "reactive" and "solitary" dogs very quickly acclimate to a more social environment (it usually only takes 3-4 hours) and I never leave them together unsupervised until they're demonstrating clear friendliness to each other. Many dog parents bring their pups over just for this kind of socialization, and it's great to watch a dog that "hates all other dogs" running and playing in the yard with the group after snarling at everyone just a few hours before.

About: I myself have 3 dogs at home and my oldest dog is 18 years old they are all toy poodles. I have a lot of patience with pets. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs since my own dogs are all different ages. All my dogs usually stay indoors but we have a gated backyard and front yard they can walk around or I can take them on a walk. Now that I’ve moved I have one big husky, area we live in is a community very dog friendly to go on walks during the day and night! I recently graduated and an optometrist who currently as minimal working house so almost most of my time is spent at home especially the weekends and most weekdays. There are just a few weekdays sometimes that I do have to step out for a few hours only and I come back right away. I live in a community that is very safe and many neighbors walk there dogs around this community. I take my dog bandaid on walks daily and it's a good area with no cars and busy streets. Theres AC 24 hours at home for my husky and plenty of space and the home is always very clean. I'm very caring with animals since I myself have pets and I know how caring these fur kids can be. Theres a small gate at the front door so they wont run out and an attached garage.

About: I’ve cared for animals of all kinds since I was 10. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and check in on their pets. I’m responsible, patient, loving, and always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. I’m currently completing an externship, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available for boarding on weekends and have availability on weekdays after my externship. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for both dogs and cats. I follow each pet’s routine, respect their needs, and give them plenty of attention, playtime, and care.

“All good, thank you Robbie! Robbie did a great job with our pup Clyde, a 1.5 year old hound mix with LOTS of energy. He took him on a long walk to a nearby park, let him explore, and tired him out. He also worked on some basic skills with him: sit, stay, down, down stay. Clyde may have been a little anxious being in someone else's house but based on what Robbie reported I think it went really well overall and we'll be doing it again soon!”
