“We cannot say enough great things about Alexis! She recently watched our dogs again, and just like always, she did an amazing job. From daily updates to thoughtful care, she treats our pups like they’re her own. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in great hands when we’re away. Our dogs absolutely love her, and we feel completely at ease leaving them in her care. From here on out, Alexis will always be our go-to person for dog sitting. Reliable, caring, and professional—she’s simply the best!”

About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs my whole life! I have experience with young, senior, active, and working dogs. My family dog growing up was born deaf and with a thyroid condition so I am very familiar with medication admission or other disabilities. My husband and I often work different shifts so someone is often home with the dog(s). I have no problem moving work around to care for your furbaby! I have a fenced in yard and large home. There is only one dog and plenty of room for the dogs to stretch their legs or spread out. I am active and will run or walk your pet!
“100% I recommend BRANDON!!! I was in a bind, contacted him and he responded within 10 minutes. He was very communicative throughout the visit and was great with my energetic Weimaraner, Maggie. Thank you Brandon!”

“Absolutely amazing! I’m very happy with how well my animals were taken care of and how she went over and beyond to make sure that they were. I’ll definitely be rebooking her to watch my pets the next time!!”

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs my whole life and have experience with all sizes and temperaments. I’m reliable, patient, and love making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for—just like they would at home. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so your pet will get lots of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available most weekdays and weekends, and can adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. I have a fenced yard and one dog who loves having company. I always prioritize a safe, clean, and comfortable environment, and I can easily crate your dog if needed. I follow all care instructions closely and make sure every pet feels secure, happy, and well cared for while in my home.
“Samantha did an amazing job! She was very communicative and didn’t just scoop the litter pan and feed my boys. She played with them too and helped get the zoomies out of their systems. One of my cats is VERY shy, but by the last day he was clearly incredibly comfortable with her. Her schedule was flexible so she was able to adjust and visit them the morning I was coming home as well. She will definitely be my top pick going forward for a recurring sitter! **As a bonus, she kindly brought in my packages so they weren’t sitting out on the porch for days.”

“Abby was absolutely wonderful! She even agreed to watch our pups even though she had homecoming this weekend! She was very thorough in her reports and always sent me photos from each visit. She was very respectful and polite when we first met, I definitely recommend booking with Abby! I plan to work with her again! Thanks so much Abby! ??”

“Somiya maintained wonderful communication with me during the visit! We had a new kitten that needed special care and monitoring and she did a such an amazing job! I would recommend her services to anyone I know!🥰”

About: I am a dog lover. I have a dog of my own! I love taking care of dogs and I am very familiar with how to take care of them! I am playing soccer in Columbia, SC this summer. I have an internship and practices during the week. When I’m not working or practicing I have nothing to do. My schedule is flexible! I am very respectful of the areas I’m in. I always leave places cleaner than I left them. I just want to make sure the animals feel loved and safe!
“Liza came by to give our new puppy, Polar, drop in visits. She even brought her kiddos which I know Polar loved to have the company of the little ones! I could from the pictures she sent that he enjoyed his time with them. The key to our door was giving her a hard time, but she even stayed late when she couldn’t get it in to make up for the time and I greatly appreciated it! Thanks Liza :)”
About: Animal care is very important, I’ve provided pet sitting services for a while now almost 3 years to be exact. Animals should be taken as serious as children, and I will prove it!! Currently I work full time in the morning usually 6am to 12-2 in the afternoon so my services would usually entailed over night or afternoon care. In my own home I provide a fenced in back yard with plenty of room to go potty or just to play outside. Plenty of fresh water, and food.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 12 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Cedar Creek. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
