“Alessandra and Kyle took great care of our dogs whip (dachshund) and boone (labradoodle). They updated us with pictures everyday. They were so easy to work with and I can tell our dogs were very well taken care of !”

“The BEST place for active dogs!! So much space to run around, lots of other dogs to socialize with and other kinds of pets as well! 10/10 recommend and will be returning for every trip!”

About: I was raised around animals -- cats, dogs, horses, and so many more. I spent my years growing up taking care of our animals, watching my neighbors animals and properties, and helping my grandma with her pet sitting business. In addition, I am a pet owner myself and understanding the importance of having someone trustworthy to take care of my animals while I'm away. I hope I can be this for you! I have a very open schedule and will have plenty of time to spend with your pup (or cat!) to make sure they are exercised and well taken care of. At my house, I have a large fenced yard which your pup will have access to. They will have their own space with a crate and will be kept separate from our animals. We have three cats who have been raised around dogs, and have two dogs. This is a great environment for your pup to spend the day! If I'm dropping by your place, I'll be sure to utilize whatever resources you have for your pup to ensure their comfort!
“Absolutely amazing! Took care of my cat, sent updated photos, and texts. We’re super sweet to talk to. Overall very happy with the 4 days of sitting they did! Will continue to be going back to them!”

“Audrey was very quick to communicate and sent photos. We were grateful she was willing to watch Pattie Cake on short notice and accommodate our schedule coming in and out of town. She has a nice family and pets. I would be happy to have Pattie stay with her again.”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover and have grown up around dogs and horses my whole life and have experience caring for animals with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m currently a dog owner myself, so I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy and attentive caring for your pet. I’m comfortable with everything from relaxed senior dogs to high-energy pups who need extra exercise and engagement. I also have extensive experience caring for animals with medical needs and can closely follow care instructions, routines, and medication schedules when needed. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving owners peace of mind through reliable communication and dependable care! I currently work during the day, but I have late afternoon, evening, and weekend availability for walks, drop-ins, and pet care. I do my best to be flexible and reliable with scheduling, and I’m happy to communicate about specific timing needs to find something that works well for both you and your pet! I have a friendly, playful dog who enjoys the company of other dogs if they like having a buddy to play with. I’m active and love getting dogs outside for walks, whether that’s on nearby trails or around the neighborhood, depending on their energy level and comfort. I always try to make pets feel comfortable and cared for by following their normal routines as closely as possible. I’m experienced with dogs of all energy levels and can adapt to playful, active dogs or pets who prefer a calmer environment.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm so animals are a priority in my life. I just moved to the city & have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies! Weekdays work better than weekends for now. I have a fenced in yard, as well as many walking paths to bring your fur babies on. My dog loves other dogs & LOVES to play but can also relax.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
