About: I’ve been involved in pet care the entirety of my adulthood. From big sled dogs to frenchies and more, I’ve played along with more than I can say. Experienced specifically with large breed dogs and small to medium reactive dogs. I work almost full time at a local doggy daycare. If your pet is a client there I’m happy to be flexible about drop off and pick up from there. I have varying flexibility throughout the week. Friday is the day I’m least available. I offer primarily drop in visits and walks. Well mannered dogs may walk with myself and my friendly, female dog. Others may get a little more one on one time if uncomfortable with other dogs.

I had set up care through another person on rover and they cancelled which left me just two days to find someone. Izabella sent me her work hours so I could coordinate drop ins and walks to work with cocos schedule. She came the next day for a meet and greet. While I was away she gave great photos and updates. She even offered to take out the trash and put some salt down. She offered an additional check in if needed the day we were coming back which was wonderful since our plane got delayed. About: Has to be able to get along with other dogs if being brought to my home. It’s fine if dogs or cats need special care I am going to give them my all and make sure they enjoy there time so they come back, all animals are welcome and loved with me. About: Devoted and die-hard dog Momma over here! I have a Muttley crew of dogs including Labrador Retrievers and Pitt Bull mixes. My pack includes senior aged dogs through to young dogs. I have dedicated the last couple years to fostering dogs and absolutely fallen in love pivoting my world in the direction of companion pets. I have also worked at a local doggie daycare and volunteer often with my dogs as control dogs in a local dog training group's reactive rover class. I currently work part time in a local dog park as well. Needless to say, I encounter all types of dogs throughout my day and love learning their unique personalities. I have studied dogs at length with my personal pack, in training classes, with my dog centered jobs, and I continue to enjoy deep discussions on dog body language to learn even more! Dogs are fascinating animals to me, and I adore learning more to better communicate with them. I have a flexible schedule currently. I work part time at a local dog park in the afternoons during the week, and volunteer by fostering dogs. I have a fenced in yard and friendly dogs at home that are social and enjoy playing with new pups, proven with the foster pups I bring home. My pack is excellent communicators with other dogs and help draw out shy dogs and teach them how to dog. Dogs are welcome on the furniture (couch and bed) in my home. New dogs through foster or dog sitting sleep in a crate for naps during the day and at night out of an abundance of caution for safety.

About: I've had experience with pets ranging from rats, to fish, to snakes, cats, and dogs. I am no stranger to dogs/animals in general. I'll do everything in my power to ensure the safety and happiness of your beloved family member. I can handle big pets and small pets. Aggressive, anxious, timid, reactive, and generally difficult pets are my specialty. I can keep up with high energy/athletic pets, and care for disabled pets. I can pass meds, teach a few commands, and give you updates on how your pets are doing. Animals tend to love me as much as I love them, thank you for trusting me with you family. I'm available pretty much every day and during select holidays. I have a very flexible schedule due to the nature of my work at this time. I do drop ins, house sitting, and walks. I'll check on your pets, make sure they haven't gotten into anything, play with them, feed them, take them out, clean up after them, and provide updates on their care.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've been lucky to parent dogs, cats, and horses, including two retired racing Greyhounds and a tuxedo cat who made me a certified cat person. Beyond my own, I've been caring for pets professionally (i.e., beyond friends and family) for more than 15 years, and after taking some time away while completing my PhD and living abroad, I'm excited to be back doing something I've always loved. In 2011, I started walking pups professionally in Chicago as a side gig during my breaks from tour managing for a band, which quickly turned into my dog-walking clients asking me to stay in their home with their pets while they were away. Over the span of just a few years, I built relationships with more than 30 clients, with most of them turning into repeat (and repeat and repeat!) clients. I've cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes and everything in between. I've also worked with many pets that required extra patience or specialized care. I've cared for senior pets, dogs < 1yo, a blind Australian Cattle Dog, a deaf cat, highly anxious and stranger-wary dogs, VERY stranger-wary cats, a Beagle with a seizure disorder, and pets receiving medication. I've also been the go-to sitter for a couple of families going through difficult times with their critters, including caring for their pets with terminal illnesses during their final days (both a black lab named Maggie and the sweetest deaf black cat named Sam) . Over the years, I've handled a few very unexpected situations as well. Whether it's a medical event requiring an unexpected trip to the veterinarian or even arriving to a cat drop-in visit to find that the apartment had experienced a break-in (in my Chicago days, which included working with police and gathering the terrified cats from the apartment stairwell), I've stayed calm, communicated clearly, and focused on keeping the critters safe and the clients informed. There have also been several occasions where I've extended my stay last-minute due to a client's canceled flight or interrupted travel plans. One of the biggest differences between my prior pet sitting days and now is my flexibility due to my remote work. When I pet sat extensively throughout Chicago, my tour managing days had ended and I worked a full-time 9-5 downtown. This was fine for my clients, as they had a similar schedule. But I now work fully remotely, so I have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to spend much more time with your pets throughout the day than I could years ago. I essentially do my best to work around your pet's normal routine. I'm happy to accommodate early mornings, evenings, or midday visits whenever possible. My goal is to make life feel as normal and stress-free as possible for your pets while you're away. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I'd expect someone to show mine, as I've also hired pet sitters over the years for my own critters. I follow your instructions (the more the better!), keep you updated with photos (lots!) and messages, and make sure your pets receive the same routines, rules, and attention they're used to (e.g., their feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, cuddle time, or simply keeping them company).

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life and have house sat for pets of all types in my neighborhood, I love taking pets on walks and visiting dog parks. I am currently a college student that is free during the summer besides having online classes. I go to the gym in the morning but otherwise am quite free, just tending to my apartment. I have had multiple cats and dogs in the past and have volunteered at animal shelters so have a ton of knowledge on proper care for animals. I am also great at following instructions.
