About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, mostly dogs. I’ve owned my own dogs since I was 12, and I currently own a German shepherd and a Coton De Tulear. I consider myself a true animal enthusiast and I believe that caring for them is more than a chore, but something you need to be passionate about to give them the best care they deserve. I’m returning to college to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and I’d love to not only give your pets the care they deserve, but to add to my experience for the furbabies in the future! Caring for pets in my clients home will all depend on what I have access to. I am more than comfortable with taking dogs outside/on walks, crating them, and feeding/treating them.

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. About: I have been around animals my whole life. My range of experience goes from new born puppies and up. I have been dog sitting for my neighbor and some family friends for about 2 years now. I work 2 overnights a week at my job Sunday night and Tuesday night but would still be able to help out at night before going in and in the morning after I get out. I can make any accommodations for any of your animals needs whether that’s needing to only go out on a leash or following specific training plans.

About: Along with being a certified veterinary assistant and working in the field, I, myself have been taking care of my own animals for nearly a decade! Including but not limited to, fostering dogs of all ages and breed, and rescuing pretty much every cat I come across (We're at four and counting!). I have trained experience in administering medication and senior pet care. It's important to me, as a fellow pet parent, that your furry friend is in great hands in my care, giving you peace of mind while you're away. Currently, I am relocating to East Ridge, TN all the way from New York! While in the process of looking for a full-time position, I've decided to join Rover, which means my availability is wide open! My services will be strictly offered in my client's home, as my animals do better without the presence of other animals. “Hi there! This was my very first time using Rover and I was certainly very nervous to entrust my little guy with a new sitter since our recent move! However, Alex was fabulous ! He is everything you could want and more from a sitter and from a caregiver to your furry friends/family. Alex is extremely responsive, he arranged for at least 2 visits to meet my cat Oliver and to review schedule, questions, concerns, diet etc. Before actually starting the pet sitting. He got to know Oliver and his demeanor, and my cat took to Alex right away. Alex is gentle, playful and affectionate and you can see that he genuinely cares. I always worry when returning back from a trip about how Oliver may be and how my home may look, and Alex took such great care of my cat and my home looks just as I left it. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I never had a pet of my own until I met my former partner and he had a deaf Australian Shepard and I fell in love with her. A year after that we rescued a mix and named him Archer and he is the most loyal, loving dog I’ve ever met. I’ve also helped take care of my sisters mini poodle on and off for about 3 years so have experience with big and small dogs as well as deaf dogs. I work full time currently Monday through Friday but pet care would be something I can do in the evenings and weekends, while also spending time with my own dog. I have plenty of paths and places to walk dogs near my home and my complex has a dog park to play and use the bathroom

I currently work as a teacher assistant with great hours and holidays/weekends off. I am available to feed, walk, play, give medication and attention they need while you’re away. About: Having been through a fairly traumatic dog attack myself, I made it my mission to learn all about dog's behavior and why they do what they do. I have studied different ways of training and learning how to react to certain situations with them. I promise to love and give all the fun play time, cuddle time, and attention to your favorite furry friend! Your doggy can sleep in my bed and hang out on the couch. If you are anything like me, your dog is your best friend and child! I had an amazing female Boston Terrier who lived to 13 1/2. I am versed in care of elderly dogs. My new venture is a deaf puppy. We are learning hand signals for training. He is very friendly and loves to make new friends. If you have any questions about what I'm willing to do, or can and can't do, please don't hesitate to ask me! I work for a family business, and can bring my dog to work. Therefore, your pup will be able to come to work with me! I will love your baby as if it was my own. Dogs will always be leashed outside. They are allowed on furniture here and are welcome to snuggle anytime! But if you have different rules , please tell me so I can abide by them.

“Mariana has really helped with taking care of our dog. Mariana has many clients, but is very good about giving her time to each client when they are scheduled. She helped us with a drop-in visit for this stay, which allowed us to attend an all-day event that would have been very difficult to make without Mariana’s help. Additionally, given our dog’s difficult behavior when other people enter our home, the drop-in visit was very beneficial for learning what we needed to do to help our dog learn better habits when people enter our home. Mariana is very adept at understanding dog language and was quickly able to help us understand how he really needs gentle, but firm and consistent correcting when people enter. We have been able to employ what we have learned from Mariana because it is practical and doable advice. We are amazed that we have been able to learn to read subtle physical signs our dog was displaying to prevent his energy from escalating and although he still wants to exhibit high energy or bossy behaviors at times around new people, we are able to observe and correct him quickly and lead him to the desired behavior. He really is a happier dog because he is able to remain much calmer in situations that were making him nervous or over-excited and we are enjoying him so much more! Thank you, Mariana!”
