About: I grew up on a farm in NC surrounded by animals, and dogs have always been a big part of my life. Caring for pets comes naturally to me, and I enjoy getting to know each dog's unique personality and needs. I recently moved to Lexington with my husband, who is a veterinarian, which has given me an even greater appreciation for pet health and well-being. Whether your dog is an energetic puppy, a senior needing extra patience, or somewhere in between, I'll provide attentive, reliable care while you're away! I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting throughout the week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, medications, or simply providing companionship, I follow each owner's instructions closely and treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would my own. As a pet owner myself to an 11½-year-old Maltipoo, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry family member.

I have a park near me and I do take my own dog to the dog park every chance I get via Lyft and plenty of toys for your fur babies!

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was a kid my family loves animals. I dog sit for family friends and have taken care of animals as veterinarian tech. I’m currently a student at UK and take a mix of online and short in person classes. My schedule is pretty relaxed as I don’t have classes everyday of the week. When I do have class I’m home a lot between classes and have time to check on animals every 2 hours. I live near campus so I can take your pet on walks around campus or to the park. I live in a pet free and smoke free apartment and can easily crate your pet if needed.

My weekends are available also for walking, check-ins, or boarding! 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day. • 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away. • My Basic House-Sitting service includes staying overnight with your pup so they have company and comfort in their own home, along with daytime care every 4-6 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, and cuddles. I am able to take your dog on walks/runs or play with them inside the house. I can take them outside to the bathroom, feed them, whatever your dog needs!

About: I’ve owned multiple disabled dogs and can care for them. I’m also experienced in giving medicine to animals that may need it. grew up around a lot of different animals and I love spending time with new animals and seeing all the different dog and cat breeds. 😁 I stay at home and my schedule is very flexible, so the fur babies will get plenty of attention and love! I live in a spacious townhome with a fenced-in courtyard, giving dogs a safe outdoor space for potty breaks and fresh air. I also have a friendly 1½-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who absolutely loves other dogs. He primarily stays in my roommate's room, so if your dog prefers their own space or isn't interested in interacting with other dogs, it's easy to accommodate. I want every dog in my care to feel as comfortable and at home as possible. They're welcome on the furniture, on the couch, and even in bed if that's what they're used to at home. I'm also an extremely clean and organized person, both in my own home and when caring for someone else's. About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.
