“We’re moving to another state, but the whole time we were in Santa Clarita, Nihcole took care of our kitties for our trips. She is excellent, reliable, trustworthy, and the cats just love her. Thank you again for everything!”

About: My family and I have been pet sitting for almost 3-4 years now. And I am now moving into my own business where I travel to clients houses for pet sitting! I've taken care of pets all ages and sizes and have had amazing experiences and created so many new bonds and friendships with pets and their owners! I am a college athlete so sometimes my schedule can get very busy during the winter but, I am mostly free on weekends. Any further scheduling or dates needed will require messaging me privately. I only travel to clients houses who need sitters within their home. I accommodate to all needs necessary to make sure their pets feel safe and secure while their families are away.
About: With 13 years of experience, caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s truly part of who I am. My love for pups started at 18 when my chihuahua was born right under my bed. We’ve grown up together, and now that she’s a senior, I’ve learned how to give older dogs the gentle, attentive care they need. I also recently brought home a lively young chiweenie rescue, so I understand how to balance playful energy with the slower pace of an older dog. Whether your pup needs long walks, cozy cuddles, or just some patient company, I’m here to make them feel safe and loved. I offer in-home visits and pet sitting. Monday through Thursday, I’m available for morning walks, evening drop-ins, and after-work hangs. From Friday to Sunday, I’m free all day for weekend stays, midday walks, or extra one-on-one time. I provide a calm home and a flexible routine, your dog will always be treated like family—getting the care, attention, and affection they need and deserve.
About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 14 years old for neighbors, family, etc. I've always had several pups in my home at a time because they're my little babies. All of my dogs have been very well trained and follow directions extremely well! I'm currently a full time student but all my classes are scheduled for Tue/Thurs, and I work part time from home on my off days as a lash tech. I make my own schedule so I have PLENTY of free time to care for your pups! Because I am home all week for the most part I hang out with the dogs all day everyday so no need to worry about your fur baby getting lonely! We'll cuddle and watch tv. Regular potty breaks are taken, my two dogs are on a bathroom schedule, they go first thing in the morning, once or twice in the afternoon, and once before bed. Other pups that I have taken care of seem to catch on to our schedule very quickly and have no problems with it! If there is a time where I do need to leave to go do a grocery pick up or anything like that I let the dogs sleep on the couch while I'm gone, but I do have a crate present just in case I do need to put the pup up if they don't do well being left out of the crate with no supervision.

All of them are Friendly, well- socialized , and non-aggressive. My daughter and i truly love dogs and treat every pet as part of our family. We provide a safe, calm, and caring environment, whether it's for boarding or daily walks. We are attentive to each dog's need, routines, and personality. I am home full-time, so your dog. I work from home, so your dog will always have attention and care. In the morning, my daughter walks he dogs before school. During the day, I provide walks, playtime, and supervision. In the evening, we usually walk together as a family. We have a safe and comfortable home for dogs. Our dogs are friendly and well-socialized. I always supervise interactions and make sure every dog feels calm and secure. If needed, I can separate dogs to ensure safety and comfort.

I have personally owned and cared for two dogs these past 15 years. I am a responsible house guest and will always leave things the way I found them. I guarantee your pooch will have a great time! At this time I'm not offering in home services as a couple of my cats are fearful. As for watching your pet in your home I will adhere to your instructions. About: I've been caring for animals my entire life including dogs, cats, and even pocket pets, like guinea pigs! I have extensive experience with pets of all ages and needs — ranging from puppies and kitties to senior dogs and cats. I previously owned a senior dog that developed diabetes in her later years, so I’m familiar with providing specialized care and attention to animals. I treat every pet like family — with patience, love, and a deep respect for their unique personalities and needs. I’m also a dedicated volunteer with a dog rescue that saves dogs internationally from the meat trade. I transport the pups from the airport to the rescue facility then help them adjust by walking, feeding, and comforting them until they feel safe and secure. It’s incredibly meaningful work that’s helped me grow as a caregiver! Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays I’m reliable, experienced, and committed to keeping your pet safe, happy, and comfortable. I provide enriching walks tailored to your dog’s pace and energy level. During drop-in visits I make sure your pet feels engaged and at ease, whether that means playtime or companionship. For overnight care I maintain your pet’s routine and give them the same comfort and affection they’d receive from you. You can count on me to be dependable, respectful of your home, and deeply caring towards your fur baby! I am currently working part time, which leaves me with plenty of availability for house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking! Nihcole took such wonderful care of Tarçın. I felt so comfortable leaving her with Nihcole, and I really appreciated the updates and attention she gave. Nihcole was attentive, responsible, and made sure everything was taken care of perfectly. I would 100% book with her again!

I am so grateful that I found Danielle! She is extremely reliable, flexible and my dogs LOVE her. My dogs are always tuckered out when she is done playing with them and they love when she comes. Not only is she reliable and treats my dogs as if they were her own, she makes sure the bag gate is locked, sends photos, and communicates. Danielle comes on a daily basis and I would highly recommend her. Thanks Danielle!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
