I know it seems too early and sunny to think about the holidays, but I usually book up months in advance so reach out, even if you don't have exact travel plans, but know you'll need pet care. I currently have Labor Day already booked, but mid November - New Years is pretty much open, except one booking in Dec. Check my updated calendar. My dog care experience spans all ages and breeds. I know puppies are more work, but I enjoy working with them on leash and obedience training to maintain good habits while their people are away. I have experience with giving daily medications and have cared for senior dogs, one who needed daily blood sugar testing and insulin shots. I live mobile between pet sitting gigs staying with friends and family from Marysville to Olympia. I started pet sitting for clients when I was house cleaning during the time I was in grad school. Because I was already working in their homes and had biweekly interactions with their pets, it was an easy transition to pet care. It was also during this time that a couple of professors inquired about pet sitting. I was a backup for one of thier regular sitters and the other, I'm still their regular sitter 7+ years later. I care for your pets the same way you would. They like to sleep in the bed with me? Cool. They need extra outside play time or walks to keep their anxiety low because you're gone? Done. I am very intuitive to reading their energy and do everything I can to meet their needs. Do you have some anxiety about being away and want pictures daily? Got it covered. About: I have four cats of my own. Along with them, I also take care of our elderly dog who requires special attention and care around the clock. I also care for family members pets including, but not limited to: Feeding, bathing, walking, and playing! I used to be in college, but I am taking a year off to figure some things out. So, I have plenty of time to hang out with your fuzzy friends! I know that all pets have boundaries. Some are more skeptical of strangers than others. If I take care of your pet in your home, I will make sure to not make your animal uncomfortable with the presence of a new person by giving them the space and time they need to warm up to me! I have been told i am a gentle person, so I believe that your pet will be perfectly fine with me! However, I have a sister who lives with me who has a cat that is not so nice with others. So, if you request me to house sit for your animal, I unfortunately cannot do so in my own home, it would have to be at your home. This is just to keep your fuzzy friends safe!

We owned 2 rescue dogs (australian shepard/newfoundland mix and a german shepard/lab mix) , a rescue cat, and a purebred ragdoll. I learned some tricks of the trade along the way that makes me and my animals happy! I formally worked for a premier dog sitting company that serviced the Puget sound area. I worked with cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, bunnies, and all type of attitudes as well (; I worked with timid dogs and dogs that were slightly more aggressive. I am well versed with many harnesses and leashes so you can rest assured your dog will be secure on any walks outside your home. I have worked with dogs from chihuahua's to great danes. All sizes and breeds are welcome. I also have worked with animals who need medication administered. Whether your animals need a pill, ointment rubbed in, or a liquid medication, I do it all! About: Hello there, I'm Quincy! I grew up on a farm taking care of goats, horses, chickens, cats & dogs. During which I heavily participated in cleaning up after, feeding, and of course completely adoring these animals. Dog walking & cat-sitting professionally have been a part of my life for the last 2 years and have many references to provide if needed. Providing this service has consistently felt like a mutually rewarding experience for everyone involved. I love caring for animals and helping others do the same! It should be noted I have also worked with elderly animals as well as animals with disabilities. Before I changed my career focus to animal-care taking I worked as an infant/toddler nanny, for the over 6 years. Giving me lots of general caregiving & house-keeping experience. On top of that, I've also been an independent contractor doing house cleaning over the course of the last few years. I have a completely open schedule. I'd prefer working/dog-walking/cat-sitting between the hours of 8 am & 8 pm. In the past I usually dog walk at 8 am and again at 8 pm. When I have house-sat (with cats) it has been for 1 week to 3 weeks at a time. I am open to many possibilities. These are just examples of what I've done in the past. As far as providing care for animals in my client's home goes, I am extremely attentive to an animal, its needs, and my client's needs & requests. I want to befriend the animal, if possible, and certainly feed, hydrate, walk (if dog) and clean up after the animals however needed. I will not be able to have any pets in my home currently. I can certainly drive to you & provide dog walks or house-sitting though!
