When caring for pets in your home, I take detailed notes about their daily schedule, feeding times, favorite spots, and any house rules—whether that means staying off certain furniture or having free rein of the couch. Your pet's comfort stems from familiarity, so I ensure that nothing changes from their normal routine. I provide the same level of attentive care - regular exercise, plenty of affection, and constant supervision. I also maintain open communication throughout, sending updates and photos so you can see how well your pet is settling in and enjoying their time with me.

About: I have a dog of my own named Finn, who I adore! He is a mini dachshund. I also grew up in a home with several animals, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I love cats and dogs equally, and I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society of the Black Hills as well. I am currently an accelerated nursing student at SDSU and my schedule works well for pet sitting. I also enjoy taking care of animals it’s very therapeutic for me so it works out. I’m pretty flexible when it comes to pet sitting in someone else’s home. I cannot do it in my own because it’s my mother’s house and she’s allergic to dogs. My own dog is with my husband while I am in nursing school. So I will compensate by getting all the love from the pets. I won’t be caring for pets in my own home, but I’m very comfortable providing care in your home and helping your pets stick to their normal routine. I also pet sit for my brother’s dog frequently, so I’m used to managing daily needs like feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to take your pet on walks and make sure they’re fed, exercised, and getting plenty of attention and affection. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away, and I’ll do my best to keep things as normal for them as possible. I also don’t mind helping with light household chores during my visits, things like bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, taking out trash, or tidying up pet areas so you can come home to a clean, settled space.

About: I love dogs and cats very much. I have a two year old German Shepherd who is unfortunately back at home in Georgia for the next few months, I just moved to town and he isn't able to live out here with me yet. I want to be a pet sitter so that I can hang out with animals, because I miss mine so much. My dog is very energetic and high maintenance, so I can absolutely handle any dog or cat and whatever quirks they may have. I have a degree from the University of Georgia and am very mature, responsible, and respectful. I will absolutely treat any dog or cat that I am sitting as if they are my own! I work from 7-4 M-F but am very flexible outside of those hours. Please consider me as your next pet sitter!

About: I have house sat multiple times for the same families, which included care for both dogs and cats. One family had ill animals that needed special pills and diets, while the other had a puppy who needed walks to remain calm. I follow the instructions of the owners as best I can, and attempt to give the animals as much love and attention as I can offer. I was paid professionally to care for animals when I worked as a personal assistant for three years. I know that it can be hard work to care for animals, but I am willing to put forth the effort for them. I have had and cared for them all of my life, and I look forward to caring for yours! I work full time, but can be flexible with my lunch break. At the least, I could drop in three times a day or stay with them in the evenings. On weekends, if I am petsitting or dropping in, your pup or cat would be my highest priority and my schedule is much more flexible. Petsitting: When staying at a client's home, I keep the area tidy and try to spend more time with the pet than not. When I am not at work, I would be able to walk, play, and cuddle to their heart's content. If I have social plans, I adjust them to the pets needs so they are not left alone for too long. Dogwalking & Drop-Ins: After walking/playing with/checking on your pup, I would ensure they have adequate water and a treat, then give them some time to rest. Once I've ensured they've cooled down, I would let them out once more before topping off their water and leaving them for a nap. During the work weeks, walks would be at noon and after 5pm, but weekends are flexible.
