About: My daughter Trenna and I grew up with dogs and cats and we love all their different personalities and they bring so much joy to our lives. When you get a dog it’s a commitment. I was in a pickle, was kind of last minute preparation for me ( I usually have everything written down, food bags prepared and labeled…) to leave home and have her watch my dog. He needs medication with his diet or he can’t digest what he eats, which was no issue with her. She sends pics and videos, and great communication, to help the ease of being separated from my best buddy and travel partner. She ‘speaks’ dog, reads and knows their energy. The facility is a dog’s haven and resort! I am sure my dog will love going back for a ‘dogcation’!”

About: I have been a dog owner/lover for the past 10 years. My experience extends to small dogs, large dogs, and reactive dogs. My property is 7 acre of quiet farm land in Hermosa. I have 2 dogs myself and they are very friendly and playful with other dogs. There would also be the option to keep our dogs separate if your baby is not comfortable with cohabitation. 1 acre fenced in yard as well as someone home at all times to let your baby out. I work in town on the weekdays but my partner works remotely meaning someone would be home at all times to let out the dogs. We have a 1acre fenced in yard the dogs can hang out in as well as plenty of space in the house. Dogs would be free to hang out in the house with no real restrictions unless otherwise stated by the owner.

About: I have a dog of my own named Finn, who I adore! He is a mini dachshund. I also grew up in a home with several animals, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I love cats and dogs equally, and I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society of the Black Hills as well. I am currently an accelerated nursing student at SDSU and my schedule works well for pet sitting. I also enjoy taking care of animals it’s very therapeutic for me so it works out. I’m pretty flexible when it comes to pet sitting in someone else’s home. I cannot do it in my own because it’s my mother’s house and she’s allergic to dogs. My own dog is with my husband while I am in nursing school. So I will compensate by getting all the love from the pets. I won’t be caring for pets in my own home, but I’m very comfortable providing care in your home and helping your pets stick to their normal routine. I also pet sit for my brother’s dog frequently, so I’m used to managing daily needs like feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to take your pet on walks and make sure they’re fed, exercised, and getting plenty of attention and affection. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away, and I’ll do my best to keep things as normal for them as possible. I also don’t mind helping with light household chores during my visits, things like bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, taking out trash, or tidying up pet areas so you can come home to a clean, settled space.
About: I’ve been housesitting/dogsitting animals for years. Honestly spending any amount of time with animals just automatically makes my day better. I’m a nurse and being able to play with dogs that love you unconditionally is so amazing. I have 2 corgis and they’re my world. This would give me the chance to just love on other people’s pets while I’m not working and to ensure they don’t feel lonely while you’re gone! I moved to Rapid permanently and have Saturdays and Sundays off. During the week my schedule varies from the hospital but I’m more than happy to help in the evenings if needed! About: I have house sat multiple times for the same families, which included care for both dogs and cats. One family had ill animals that needed special pills and diets, while the other had a puppy who needed walks to remain calm. I follow the instructions of the owners as best I can, and attempt to give the animals as much love and attention as I can offer. I was paid professionally to care for animals when I worked as a personal assistant for three years. I know that it can be hard work to care for animals, but I am willing to put forth the effort for them. I have had and cared for them all of my life, and I look forward to caring for yours! I work full time, but can be flexible with my lunch break. At the least, I could drop in three times a day or stay with them in the evenings. On weekends, if I am petsitting or dropping in, your pup or cat would be my highest priority and my schedule is much more flexible. Petsitting: When staying at a client's home, I keep the area tidy and try to spend more time with the pet than not. When I am not at work, I would be able to walk, play, and cuddle to their heart's content. If I have social plans, I adjust them to the pets needs so they are not left alone for too long. Dogwalking & Drop-Ins: After walking/playing with/checking on your pup, I would ensure they have adequate water and a treat, then give them some time to rest. Once I've ensured they've cooled down, I would let them out once more before topping off their water and leaving them for a nap. During the work weeks, walks would be at noon and after 5pm, but weekends are flexible.

I understand that pets are much more than just animals, they are family and should be treated as such, with patience and love! I have experience walking, sitting and boarding dogs with some knowledge on training! Im very excited to meet your puppers! During the winter season I am available at all times. My primary work is seasonal and takes place in the summer as a fisherman in Alaska. When I care for pets at a clients home I treat the pet as if it were my own family and I treat the house as it were my own home. In other words, I practice respect.
About: I have lived in households with pets my entire life as well as taken care of countless peoples animals while they have been busy or out of town. I go to the dog park just about every day and am well versed in how animals interact with each other and how to make them as comfortable as possible. I am back in the Black Hills until September when school starts up again for me! I am very free and would love to watch some pets of all kinds. About: My daughter Trenna and I grew up with dogs and cats and we love all their different personalities and they bring so much joy to our lives. When you get a dog it’s a commitment. They are our kids. I am looking for a partime job. What a fun opportunity to do something I love. I have three dogs/kids myself. I can’t wait to get home from work and. see their wiggly tails. They don’t care what kind of day you just had, they just want to love on you. When I am home they are wherever I am. During the day they are in their kennels. Two of them are not even 2 yet so they like their toys.

About: I grew up on a farm so as long as I can remember I was always loving and taking care of animals! Dogs, cats, horses! & all! I will love your fur babies just as much as mine! I am a stay at home dog mom!! Im such a big animal lover ever since I was a little girl that’s all I can remember is wanting to go outside and playing with the animals! I have two friendly pups that LOVE to play! I take my dogs on a walk two times a day! And make sure they get enough attention and playtime that they want! The pups will never be out of my sight! With several years of experience as a veterinary technician, I am deeply passionate about animal welfare. I am highly comfortable and confident in administering medications as needed as well as adhering to any specific dietary guidelines. I am a stay at home mom to my 9 month old son, so I have lots of time in my schedule to keep a close eye on your pet and give them as much attention as possible while you’re away! I have a fenced back yard which is perfect for playtime or just to hang out and get some sun! My own dog loves to run around up and down the hill in our yard! I also have a large dog kennel in case that is at all needed.
About: I have grown up with dogs, owned (and currently own) a dog, and absolutely LOVE them as my own. We have an enclosed dog run with a dog door onsite. They are spoiled beyond measure and treated better than a family member. I have a flexible work schedule which allows me to spend quality time with your pet! I am available on weekends and holidays, as well as weekdays depending on notice. I have a fenced in dog run with a dog door. I can easily crate your dog if that is helpful to his/her routine. I do have 2 dogs onsite but can keep them separate if needed. We live on 3 acres and walk our dogs every day! They are Family!
