“Jeanelle took great care of our girl Gretchen while we were out of town for a few days. Very communicative with us and attentive to our pup. Highly recommend!”

“Ayreal is a fantastic house sitter. Not only does she take great care of our young lab puppy, she also takes great care of our home for us. Cannot recommend her enough and will continue to use her in the future!”

“Rachael was loved immediately by my pup! She helped me in a pinch last minute when I needed overnight care. She is kind, punctual, sent me updates & stayed in touch. It’s really nice to not have to reach out about your pet, and to already have updates and photos when you check your phone!!! Delilah and I look forward to working with you again. 😊”

“Faith is so amazing! She has a gift and we are so happy we found her. Nala, our German shepherd took to her right away. And if you know anything about German shepherds, they are very fickle and don't connect with just anybody. I highly recommend Faith to stay at your home or whatever your need is with your puppies.”

“Lori went the extra mile to ensure that our boy Monty was well cared for while we were away. She even sent us several photos so we wouldn’t worry about him and made an extra trip to the house to be sure that the temperature was comfortable for him.”

“Tess was amazing when watching our puppy! He needed some special care since he was recovering from a surgery and we felt comfortable the whole time she was with him. She sent updates throughout the weekend and was always responsive!”

“Victoria stayed the weekend with my small dog who has separation anxiety. Victoria was so kind and caring with her! She also kept in good touch with me and left the house better than when she arrived. I’d definitely recommend her and use her again. She’s a lovely person.”

“We had such a great experience with Eli. This was our first time using Rover. The plans we had for our dogs fell through; a friend who had been in a similar situation used Rover and recommended it. We were happy someone with experience was available. Eli was very easy to work with. He’s easygoing and good natured. Our dogs really liked him when they met him. We have no complaints. We’d definitely book him again.”

About: New to pet sitting but have a life-time of experience with dogs. Dogs seem to respond to me easily and favorably. I enjoy caring for dogs. I am fully retired so my schedule can be very flexible. I will try at all times to accomodate a client especially if a short notice request is made. I will only house sit dogs in a clients house. I will care for the dogs feeding, all necessary walks, and of course some play time.

“I cannot recommend Ryan highly enough! Leaving my high-needs, anxious dog for a work trip is always a source of stress, but Ryan completely put my mind at ease. From our initial meet-and-greet, it was clear that Ryan is not only a true animal lover but also incredibly knowledgeable and patient. My dog requires a lot of extra attention and can be quite nervous with new people, but Ryan handled him with such a calm and confident demeanor. I received regular updates, including photos that showed my dog was not just being cared for, but was comfortable in Ryan's hands. This consistent communication was invaluable and allowed me to focus on my work knowing Oliver was okay. Ryan went above and beyond to alleviate his anxiety and let him have the space he need to feel comfortable. I returned home to a happy, relaxed dog, which is the best indicator of the excellent care he received. In addition, the house was spotless which is always nice to return home too. If you're looking for a pet sitter who is reliable, compassionate, and truly understands how to care for anxious or high-needs pets, Ryan is absolutely the one to choose.”

“We would absolutely book Kayla again! She was incredibly communicative throughout, and from the photos she sent, it was clear our dog was happy and comfortable with her—his wagging tail said it all. Since he's not typically used to being around others, we were thrilled with how well he settled in. Kayla was also very accommodating to all of our requests. Thank you, Kayla!”

“Ashley is absolutely fantastic. She watched our dog all day, went on long walks, took pictures, and was extremely thoughtful about what was best to keep our dog comfortable and safe. If you're looking for someone reliable who actually cares about the animals she works with, Ashley is the one to help you”

“Amy is amazing. We are so happy with the way she cared for our cats and our home. It takes a special person to connect with your pets on such a meaningful level and she had an immediate bond with ours.”

“I booked Aria after another Rover person canceled on me 5 days before my trip. Aria came over the next day to review logistics and household logistics and let the house key. She cared for my dog very well, including cooking rice to add to his low-fat diet. She left the house in good shape. She went the extra mile and seemed to genuinely like being at my house where she could work from home and have nice places to walk. I hope to use Aria again.”

“Cassandra is WONDERFUL! My Gracie is a very reactive young dog, and Cassandra handled her very well from the very start. She gave me reports and photos throughout her stay with Gracie, and also showed me several very helpful tips and tools that I can use myself with my dog. Highly recommend!”

“Elisa has taken care of our two dogs and one cat twice now (once for a couple of days and once for a week). Both times, she shared photos and updates about what the girls were up to, letting us know they had been fed, walked, and snuggled with. We felt like our pets were in great hands while we were away and wouldn’t hesitate to ask her to watch our pets again!”

About: My best friend, Jack Pine, a lab and shepherd mix recently passed and I’ve been enjoying taking care of friends’ dogs! This transpired very organically, missing my sweet boy. One of my friends suggested I set up a profile here. I do have house sitting experience. I am a part-time bartender with a very flexible schedule! I also work part time for myself and create my own hours. I can travel farther and have evening availability W-Sat. Lots of midday availability every day. I’m personally very athletic and am missing my daily dog walks and runs! Happy to house sit and / or board. I live in an apartment with a cat- and a friendly small dog next door that shares the same yard. Rural setting- lots of great quiet trails nearby!

“Hannah took great care of our dog Otto while we were away. She was always responsive and sent us photos. She even took Otto to the beach for a walk- his favorite place! Thank you to Hannah! She is a great dog and house sitter.”
