Scheduling should be pretty flexible. We are located in Wells & work part time locally. Please inform us what your needs are and we will try to accommodate! We live in an apartment so we will care for your dogs inside as well as giving them walks & allowing them in the yard on long leashes. Our two dogs will be overjoyed to have playmates, but if yours are shy or nervous we can keep them separated. Trips to the beach, dog park, or walking trails are also doable!

About: New to Rover but not new to caring for animals! I grew up on a farm with lots of animals - dogs, cats, goats, horses, rabbits, chickens, pigs... I've also informally pet sat for friends and neighbors with dogs and/or cats in the past. I've been a cat mom in the past, but I don't have a pet of my own right now. However, I would love to have a buddy come hang out with me while I work from home full time. My house is quiet and cozy and I have plenty of time to provide attention and affection! I work from home full time at a desk job - if my day is "busy" it just means I had a few more zoom calls than usual. I would absolutely be able to take time to provide potty breaks and maybe a walk around the neighborhood when the weather is good. I live on a main street in town, but there's also a nice quiet neighborhood right behind me with minimal traffic, perfect for a quick walk. I do travel three or four times a year for my job, generally for 3-5 days each time, but I'd be able to give you at least a couple of months advanced notice for those trips - they are never last minute! I don't smoke and I have plenty of space for your pup to hang out during the day so they don't feel cooped up - including a wrap around enclosed porch that I can keep secure, and a tall privacy-fenced back yard/garden area. While the yard is fenced, I do get birds and other critters roaming through, and I have a flower garden that could have some toxic plants for over-curious dogs. Because of that, I would not to leave them alone outside, but take those breaks with them. My house does have a fairly steep flight of stairs, so a dog without joint pain or struggles going up and down multiple times a day would be most comfortable. I do have lots of houseplants and some could be toxic - so again, if your dog tends to be curious and take a bite out of plants, I may not be the best fit!

I treat every animal like family, and their happiness and comfort are always my top priorities. I am currently a college student at UNE. My only restrictions are a few classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I am free weekends and I can also drive on weekdays before and after classes! I am unable to keep pets in my home as I am living in a dorm, but I am open to come to any home and stay!
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog parent to Otis, my energetic Golden Retriever. Caring for him has given me hands-on experience with puppy training, daily exercise, feeding routines, crate training, and all the joys (and occasional messes!) that come with raising a happy, healthy dog. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have a rotating schedule that allows me to have flexibility each week with some weekend and weekday availability! I strive to be available for anything from last minute drop-ins to 2-3 day long stretches for long weekends or midweek trips! I have a yard to allow your fur baby some outdoor play and also love exploring nearby walking paths and beaches! On the other end of the spectrum I have a nice big couch for those fur babies that just want a relaxing cuddle session. I also have a one-year old golden retriever who is an excellent companion for any pup looking for a play-mate!
About: I have taken care of 25+ dogs and cats in the past 3 years, to include in home/overnight pet- and house-sitting, dog walking, brushing, litter box maintenance and pill-based medication administration. When taking care of other people’s pets, I provide the attention and care that I was seeking for my own cat and dog (who, sadly, are no longer with me.) My top priority is the safety of the pet, and to that end, I take no risks with the animals in my care – food protocols are carefully followed, walks are always on leash and doors are carefully monitored to ensure indoor cats remain indoors. With my pet care services, you will have: • Happy, safe and well-cared-for pets • A clean and orderly (tidy) home • Clear and timely communication • Regular and frequent updates (with photos and videos of your pets) • Reliable and dependable pet and home care As a recently-retired educator, I have a very flexible schedule, with plenty of time for your pets. I am available for daily walks, overnight or weekend house sits (your house or mine) and vacation sits (1-4 weeks is typical). When starting a new relationship with a client and their pet(s), I schedule a brief ‘pop over’ appointment where I can meet the animal(s) in the presence of their humans. This helps everyone involved – pets and humans – get to know me and feel comfortable with me before I take on the responsibility for the pet. I take care to be calm around the pets I sit - I let both cats and dogs take their time to warm up to me (come to me when they are ready, sniff my hands, my person, my things). I am careful when feeding animals - particularly dogs - giving them space. I follow the pet's routine - if they sleep on the bed, I let them sleep on the bed; if they like to go in and out frequently, I let them go in and out frequently. I try to make them as comfortable as I can, in their human's absence.
