“Jewel did a wonderful job stepping in with little preparation when my friend couldn’t stay with my pups while I was away. After a video meet and greet, Jewel came and figured out my pups complicated routines. She messaged when she had questions or concerns. Her co-sitter, Scout, was good with my dogs and extra careful with my elderly blind guy. My old guy, PV, wasn’t eating and we figured out that he had been missing his heart medication as well as his pain medication! As soon as his medication was straightened out, he was back chowing down. He fell in love with Jewel, leaning on her for pets — which he never does! Pearl, the diva head of the household, fell for Jewel right off and followed her around and slept with her and Scout. Not only did Jewel take great care of the pups, walking them daily and brushing them, she kept up the house so it was neat when I returned, took out the garbage, got the mail, and did poop scooping in the back yard as well as watering the plants! I will certainly have Jewel stay with my dogs again when I travel. If you have pets you love that may have complicated medication schedules, Jewel can manage and I highly recommend her.”

“Thank you Paloma for taking care of our 3 babies in our home. Paloma is very sweet and kind with out babies. We recieved pictures and on the last day we recieved videos.”

“Maddie was amazing - not only did she take wonderful care of our two pups but she also was super flexible when our flight was delayed and fed and hung out with our dogs a little longer than originally planned! The house was also taken care of - she grabbed our mail and pulled the trash can out on trash day. She was super responsive and responsible, and we will definitely book her again!”

“Mikayla was absolutely marvelous with all of our pets: 2 dogs, a cat and 4 guinea pigs. All absolutely adored the pampering and careful attention they received during the time that she house sat for us. She has superb attention to detail and provided the best quality care for the animals and our home. Highly recommend her for whatever your pet care needs are.”

“Our experience with Jesse was absolutely amazing! We’ve never had someone stay at our home with our fur baby before, so we were a little nervous at the beginning, but the moment I met Jesse, I felt 100% comfortable leaving Thor and our home in her hands. She offered to come over before we left to meet us and Thor, and to go over details of the stay. She sent pictures during our trip (which I loved!) and I could tell Thor was very happy to have her there. We are so thankful to have found Jesse, and will absolutely be using her in the future! I recommend Jesse 100% !”

“Gretchen is a great dog and house sitter! She is very easy going, sends plenty of updates of our pup, and made us very comfortable during the whole process. We will definitely be using her again.”

About: My entire life has consisted of dogs and cats in the house and I love my furry pals. Currently co-parenting two senior dogs. Can teach sit, lay, stay and better walking habits. Also experience with animal home check-ups, feeding meds and little play dates. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine! I'm a stay-at-home artist with a flexible schedule, which means I can easily work in a few pet care clients throughout the week or weekend. Whether it’s drop-ins, walks, or extended stays, I can usually adapt my day to meet your pet’s needs. Let’s chat and see how I can help! I always aim to keep pets as comfortable and stress-free as possible by sticking closely to their usual routine—feeding times, walks, play, medications, and all the little things that help them feel secure while their humans are away. When I’m in your home, I’m respectful of your space and thoughtful about your pet’s environment. I take the time to understand their personality, preferences, and any special instructions you provide. Whether it's giving extra love to a senior pet, administering meds, or just keeping a shy cat company, I care for every animal like they’re my own. I also keep pet parents updated with messages and photos so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your furry friend is in good hands.

“Taylor did a wonderful job house sitting my dog Summer! Summer is very shy but Taylor was patient and did all the activities Summer loves. She even watered my plants for me. The house was left spotless.”

“Sonya did a fantastic job taking care of my Pomeranian Taffy! She was very responsive to my messages, administered Taffy’s medicines correctly, was extremely punctual, shared pictures of Taffy often, and clearly loved watching her. I felt so comfortable leaving Taffy with her. 10 out of 10, I highly recommend Sonya and will definitely hire her as my top choice sitter for Taffy the next time I’m away.”

About: I have over 9 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. For the past 5 years, I’ve raised and cared for my own dog; providing daily walks, consistent training, and lots of love. Before that, I spent 4 years dog sitting for friends, neighbors, and family, gaining experience with a variety of breeds, temperaments, and needs. I’m confident handling everything from energetic puppies to older dogs with special routines. Safety, consistency, and affection are always my top priorities when caring for pets. I don’t start my new job until early November so I currently am very flexible with my time at the moment and can accommodate accordingly. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or yours, I prioritize comfort and routine. I follow each pet’s individual care plan closely including feeding schedules, walk times, medication (if needed), and favorite activities. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and strive to maintain your dog’s normal routine to minimize stress. In my home, pets have a calm, clean environment with plenty of space to relax, play, and receive attention. I keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

“Chelsea is a great pet sitter. She took very good care of our two cats. Anytime I texted, she responded right away. Our house was spotless when we returned. I highly recommend Chelsea and I would definitely use her again to take care of my pets.”

About: I’ve been house sitting and taking care of pets my whole life as I’ve always owned dogs, horses, and had other fun pets as well. But starting at 16 I traveled around my city to stay over night and care for beloved pets. At 18 years old, I graduated JTED as a certified veterinary assistant. I have worked at vet clinics throughout my life, large and small animals. I have cared for all ages of animals from puppies to senior dogs. I treat every pet I care for as if it were my own, I know the worry of being a pet owner away from their animals. I always want to make life as easy as I can for the pets and their owners. I’m currently taking a year after college to do internships and travel. This means I have plenty of time to be able to spend with clients’ pets and giving them the best care possible. I’m happy to stay with pets over night to care for them better, or traveling to see them throughout the day. I want to make sure clients are at ease knowing someone is caring for their pets as if they were their own. At my home, I have a fenced yard to let the pets run around. I have 5 friendly dogs, including a senior pet I care for daily. At a clients or my own home, I always check water to make sure it is clean and available. I’m happy to take dogs in and out as much as they want to play, explore, or to use the bathroom. I try to make the environment I’m staying in as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for all pets in my care.

“Jamie was a caring and dependable person while watching my dog and house sitting. She was attentive to my dogs needs (which are more than your average dog), and I came home to a happy and healthy pup, and a clean house! She is super knowledgeable on dogs and was patient and understanding with my anxious girl. I feel safe and secure having her stay with my dog, which allows me to enjoy my trip with peace of mind. This was my first time using Rover for a dog sitter, and she was super communicative and provided plenty of updates and information while I was away just like I’d requested. Looking forward to having her dog sit for me again in the future!”

“Mary was wonderful with my shy rescue dog, Dash. Her calm presence allowed Dash to warm up to her at his own speed, and before long he was giving her kisses. She was a trustworthy and courteous house-sitter as well. Thank you, Mary, for making my first trip away from Dash a pleasant experience for both of us.”

About: Hello! My name is Stephanie Austin. Growing up in rural Delaware, we always had at least one family dog who we took on long off leash walks and played cat h with in our big backyard. Having so much space allowed for the opportunity to connect, bond with, and read our dogs while they were having tons of fun and just being themselves. Fun Facts: I have previous dog sitting experience, and I used to volunteer at my hometown SPCA, where I got to learn and play with over 40 different dogs. When I graduated high school, I adopted Minnie, and she has been by my side ever since. For twelve years, she has been my hiking partner, shot gun rider, and my little spoon. I understand that your dog has their own unique set of personality traits, and I look forward to learning them and playing with them! I currently work out of town Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. So I am home free from Friday through Monday. I am able to stop by your home several times a day to let your animals outside and spend time with them! Overnight house sitting is pending. I will ask for a run down of your pets daily routine and mirror that the best I can. Ensuring lots of pets, treats, and play time!

“Oh MY! Terrie is fantastic. I have quite a menagerie of cats and dogs, and they all loved her. It is hard for me to have someone come to the house to stay for a week, and even harder to leave my fur babies with stranger, but Terrie was amazing. My dogs immediately liked her, and my cats were fascinated by her. One dog needs daily medication, and she was great at getting him to take it. She communicated clearly, and responded immediately. I highly recommend Terrie to be your pet sitter.”

“We couldn’t be more grateful for Elyse! She is an absolutely incredible dog sitter—responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring. From the moment she met our pup, we knew they were in good hands. Elyse sent regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. Elyse goes above and beyond, and we feel so lucky to have found her. Highly, highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with pets, cats, dogs, guinea pigs and love all sorts of furry friends. I’ve had experience caring for newborn kittens, administering meds and all general care tasks for both dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own that I raised from puppies. I follow directions very well, and will do my best to care for your babies as closely as I can to how you would care for them! I currently work full time, 30 hours a week, which is remote. I’m happy to house sit and be as available as possible for your pet babies. I am fully available Wednesdays and weekends. I take time to assess for any potential dangers or considerations I should have in mind while caring for your pets, and I will always ask questions about how to best care for your pets based on their environment, personalities and preferences as well as taking into account your normal routine with them.

Monique L.
“My dog is a two year old mini poodle who has had a pretty rough beginning. I adopted him at our local animal control center in February. Monique (Mo) has such a wonderful patient way of working with Lucky, Mo's voice can be either playful or in teaching mode. She praise my dog constantly. Mo taught him to "sit" in a very short time, using some treats. I have followed up with Lucky on walks, but, in effect, without treats. He holds treats in his mouth so treats are given when we get home. I bought a set of boots for Lucky for protection on our terribly hot pavements and desert rocks and stickers. He took about 3 seconds to get them off when I fastened them. But with Mo, he was willing to keep them on in the house, Walking in that high legged, convulsive, floppy fashion, Mo took him for a walk in the neighborhood. They came back in half an hour with Lucky walking normally and seeming proud of it. Its a work in progress, I can get the boots on him and have him walk around the house, but I haven't tried a long walk yet. Mo has my complete confidence and trust in her abilities with dogs.
