“Gilian took great care of my dog. Suri had plenty of dogs to play with, lots of outside time and a nice space indoors too. She got to enjoy playing with water and getting yummy treats. Gilian also updated me daily with a report and photos so that I knew my dog was in good hands at all times. Thank you Gilian.”

“Diane and Dale went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule and care for Oliver. He fit right in with their dog, Lexi, enjoyed the walks around the pond and was well-loved. I highly recommend them!”

“I was very impressed with Lisa. This was the first time boarding my dog anywhere. Lisa was very professional from the meet and greet to when my dog stayed at her house. Unfortunately I had to cut my vacation short but Lisa was very accommodating when I picked up my dog early. The best thing of all was that my dog Marnie loved her right from the start. She is a Miniature Pinscher and quite timid to most people she meets. I highly recommend Lisa and I will definitely take Marnie to Lisa's home again.”

“Amanda was amazing and accommodating with drop off and pickup. She took the time to really get to know all the details with Rusty and his habbits. She gave updates and pictures. Rusty had a great time and was a sad to leave. 13/10 recommend.”

“Gianina was a great host to Kona! She sent pictures and updates throughout the weekend! She had a great yard for him to explore, and she took him on nice walks. We will definitely book with her again if we travel!”

“Cari was wonderful with our girl Toast! Toast can be pretty anxious, and Cari really took the time to help her warm up and feel comfortable in her home. She gave Toast lots of attention, and her kids were so sweet with her, too. Cari sent us plenty of pictures, which helped us relax and enjoy our time away knowing Toast was being so well cared for. We also really appreciated how flexible she was. It was such a great experience for both Toast and us, and we would happily book with Cari again!”

“Noodle and Pretzel had a great time! We usually take our dogs with us but this time they couldn't come. They stayed 5 days/nights with the family during which we received dozens of pictures of them playing with all their new doggie friends. It was reassuring to me to receive those and to know they were in good hands, and that they behaved. If we need sitter services again I am happy to come back here!”

“Rebecca takes such wonderful care of Addi. Every time we drop her off, she is excited to see Rebecca and her family. I can relax on my vacation, knowing she’s in such great hands.”

“Rebecah and David provided an excellent home for our dog. It was an extended two-week stay, and we had no qualms about the environment. Angus loved being there. They were terrific surrogate parents, who kept in good contact with us. It was very reassuring to have our dog in such a warm home with a nice yard and attentive people. Angus is already looking forward to seeing them again.”

“Micah was fantastic! Kepler was well taken care of and had a very exciting stay playing with her dogs Teddy and Echo. Micah is very loving and created a very welcoming and fun environment for our pet/baby. We will definitely use her again.”

“Kathleen was absolutely fantastic we had never used rover before so we were a little nervous at first. Kathleen quickly put us at ease and communicated regularly throughout the days. Both our dogs had a great time and were asleep before we got home. We will definitely use her again.”

“Julie took the BEST care of our little guy on our first trip away from him since we got him. She took many pictures and shared them with us and just treated him like one of her own pets. We appreciated seeing how much love he received while we were gone!”

“Kayla was responsive when communicating w/us including pictures of our pet throughout her stay to assure us our pup was in good hands. She accommodated our dogs separation anxiety needs and was able to make our pup feel comfortable during her short stay. Recommend.”
“Lisa did such a great job with our baby Nilah! We have been working really hard with training but a high energy golden can be really challenging. We appreciate Lisa’s patience with Nilah. She also had other dogs to play with throughout the week. Lisa has an extremely friendly family too so we knew our pup was in the best hands.”

“Shelby and her family was so generous to take our two pups for an extended period of time while we were out of town on vacation. We loved getting updates and photos while away and came back to two happy pups. Thank you!!”

“Teresa did a wonderful job with my two smallish dogs. My pups played outside in Teresa's bored on board fenced in backyard, took them for walks, gave them treats and fed them. My pups were super happy when I picked them up. Teresa will be my first go to when I need a dog sitter again. I highly suggest her.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Campbellsport home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Campbellsport.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Campbellsport sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
